Service was terrible our drinks were empty, took forever to get bread, appetizers took way too long. Meals came out and two steaks had to be sent back because they were undercooked and cold, when they came back they were somehow cooked a little more but still cold. The macaroni and cheese was just macaroni, there was no cheese. This restaurant used to be our go to spot but the last several times we have went there the quality of the food and the service has gone way downhill. Sadly to say I think that was our last time going there.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as truly valued guests. The service, the meal, and the generous portions far exceeded our expectations. A big thank you!

On the plus side, filet with peppercorn sauce was outstanding. My companion had an excellent salmon but it was served lukewarm, this could be contributed to the service which was spotty. There was a long delay between the salad and main course. More expensive than the food warrented.

First time here. Our server was very good. The porterhouse for 2 was very good. Thought the seafood tower was disappointing: shrimp/crab were very good. The lobster seemed really dry (felt like it had been cooked a day or two before). Oysters were tiny. Ordered Brussels sprouts as a side, would pick something else next time. Overall it was a good meal but not rushing back at that price point vs value.

A mixed experience overall. We have been here many times previously, over the past 10+ years, and typically had exceptional meals and service, so maybe it was just an “off” night. For starters, the bottle of white wine we ordered was not properly chilled and was near room temperature before being put on ice. The beef tartar in bone marrow was tasty but the toast points for eating it off were horrible. Not crunchy as would be expected, but rather tough and almost gummy or rubber like. The Veal Wellington was over cooked at well done instead of medium rare as a veal chop should be. No tenderness or flavor as a result. Thankfully, the sauce that came with it was delicious, so with an extra portion from our waiter, I was still able to enjoy the dish. Our favorite course was the oysters, which were delicious. We tried three different varieties. Our server was excellent and attentive, but the management staff seemed to be out of their league in a restaurant of this caliber. Finally, our biggest pet peeve was that the piano player ended at 9:20pm when there were at least a dozen reservations like ours at 8:30pm or after that were understandably still dining till 10pm-10:30pm. Entertainment should be all night and for all to enjoy as part of the standard experience. We also felt rushed towards the end as if the staff wanted to go home despite many tables remaining.

There was a party in the back. We were sat right on the corner where everyone had to turn to walk to the back. It was like being too close to a parade. Several of the people who walked by hit our table with their bags. The tap water is terrible. I think for the price of the food, they can offer bottled water without charge. The menu is deceiving. I had the sea bass with fingerling potatoes. They were shavings at best —about four of them. Little tiny potato shavings about the size of a nickel. Overall, when I spend more than I would on a casual dining spot, I expect better food and better service. One last note: my choice of wine was not available. No apologies.

Wonderful food and service, a tremendous wine selection, and a spot-on presentation. We spared no expense to celebrate a college graduation; it was worth the cost—perfect blend of quality and price.
