  • "Lovely location and ambiance on Miracle Mile, good service, great food."

  • "This neighborhood gem as it has been portrayed, was nothing short of special. From the first moment that we sat down (a family of four), we were attended to right away and our waiter offered his favorite choices when asked from the diverse menu. Mr. Rossi himself came over to our table and greeted us. I loved the influences of different countries which makes Angelique's brunch options unique. Everything we ordered was fresh and prepared to perfection. My wife elected to sample several offerings with the De Todo un Poco selection of Belgium Waffle, Torrejas, Tortilla Espanola and Patatas Bravas. I opted for the Eggs Angelique since I just love Eggs Benedict for brunch and this was their twist to the famed dish. Superb!"

  • "I went for there for brunch on Saturday. It was not full, service was quick and pleasant. Menu was short but very varied. A bit of something for everyone. My girlfriend ordered an omelette that was good, not spectacular . I ordered a croque monsieur, that was unfortunately not what I was expecting. Croque monsieurs are typically made with thick slices of soft bread, this was just sandwich bread, and the bechamel sauce was runny (from not being cooked enough) and lacked those few minutes under the broiler to bring it together. Unfortunate, because it is in the heart of the Gables, its cute, has outdoor seating and staff were right on top of things. But your food has to be just as good."

  • "My husband and I really enjoyed our evening. He got the Steak & Frites and I got the Gnocci. They made great recommendations when asked and were so attentive to our needs. Lovely little place."

  • "A regular lunch spot gem for us, we love the transformation to a romantic evening spot. Visit Wednesday nights for great wine bottle specials. Have the garbanzo appetizer! Delish."

  • "Except for the fact that my "steak au poivre" was not "au poivre" (which was a disappointment!), the rest of the food was good, but not out of "this world". Dishes had flavor and were the perfect size, but they could be improved. The Pasta with Fungi was just standard. The beans soup was amazingly tasty though. Nevertheless I like this place and I will go back again."

  • "Slow service due to lack of wait staff. Having only 2 servers for the whole restaurant is not fair to the customers or servers. The servers did their best to keep up with the demand but with only one bus boy and a full house, the service turned slow by the time the entrees came out. Parking is the other Huge problem. Why doesn't Coral Gables accept credit cards or dollars in their parking meters, like South Miami? You need a fistful of quarters to feed the meters or risk having a ticket."

  • "Did an internet search of brunch places for WEEKDAYS and found this amazing place. My son was graduating from Middle School and we wanted to take the aunt, uncles and grandparents some place close, delicious and, well, let's face it, economical. Couldn't have foudn a better place. Owner was there and was even helping service. Really happy, definitely coming back. BTW - Absolutely recommend the Pasta Carbonara, Hangover burger, and Truffle burger! Also, DELICIOUS House Pinot Noir! Better than ones I've paid much more for at Capitol Grille."

  • "My husband & I when for brunch at Anqueline, upon arrival hostess told us to just pick a table to sit, no drink menus were given so we just ordered a mimosa as suggested by waiter (mimosa was vood), I ordered the jamon jamon panini since I was really looking forward to it, however The mustard was so overpowering! Didn't even taste the prosciutto or cheese! I was very disappointed. Ambience was good, & am sure they serve better dishes than the one I had, however based on our first experience am not sure I will ever go back :( "

  • "My friends and I love the friendly atmosphere and delicious food at Angelique. Everyone enjoyed their entrée. Dessert? We had the chocolate raspberry cake. There wasn't a crumb left on the plate. "Dieters" bore no guilt . It had a rich chocolate flavor, was not overly sweet and very light. We look forward to eating here again. Too bad we don't live in the area or we'd be here more often. "

  • "I've been to Angelique several times now, most recently for Easter Brunch. I've always had great food and great service (which is often hard to find in Miami). Also they have unique/interesting wines, which I love. My wife and I will keep coming back and telling our friends and family."

  • "I was looking for Brunch and I found this place online. We started with an appetizer of four dishes to include Spanish tortilla, frites, patatas bravas and torejas, which were delicious. Their mimosas are great! I had the steak and eggs which were the special of the day. The steak was tender and cooked just right. My boyfriend had and open faced omelette with mushrooms and gruyere chese and it was also delicious.I definitely recommend brunch here!"

  • "The only one that really was polite and with a huge smile was the host. The server (jessica) made our experience not good at all, we waited for about 10 before she arrived to the table, and when she did she was in a hurry to leave our table and she was with an attitude. On the other hand she seemed very outgoing and friendly with other tables. I wont go back to this restaurant again."

  • "I came to Angelique's cafe this past Sunday with a party of four. It was my entire parties first time eating at Angelique's. We went for the brunch special-unlimited mimosas with an entree purchase. The staff was very attentive. Our waiter Jason was very knowledgable of the beer menu-which was immense. He made a great recommendation. The food was also very good and there was a large selection of both breakfast and lunch plates. The ambience is cute, lively and fun. Both of the owners were walking around and attending to tables and were very sweet. I am definitely returning soon."

  • "A friend from mid-west was visiting and we took him for dinner. Angelique's food is very good with an adequate list of wines and (especially) beers. We were sitting outside listening to nice, non-intrusive music. Overall, great experience!"

  • "I was really disappinted in the place and it happened to be on Valentine's day, so that needless to say my wife was not happy either. Ambience: The place was not romantic at all. The lights were not even dimmed and the decorations were lacking. They had a muscal group playing and they were murdering the songs. Food: Since it was Valentine's day, there was a set menu and at first glance it looked good, but how wrong we were. Both the osso bucco and fillet mignon were underseasoned and lacking flavor. Service: The only highlight of the night was the service. The girl that took care of us was really attentive and very nice."

  • "Superb and creative Continental cuisine. Good hosts with an interesting wine "degustation" to allow you to choose your dinner wine better. The "Portuguese Fisherman's Platter" was excellent. A real gem of a place, run by wonderful folks."

  • "Family owned and operated this gem is reminiscent of Paris. Gnochi is through the roof. Pear salad devine. Lobster ravioli ... delish! Even if the food were so so I would return as the staff made me feel like we were old acqaintances."

  • "I'm a picky eater and had a hard time deciding what to choose from the varied and interesting menu. So, I ordered TWO entrees (mussels with chorizo and pasta wth mushrooms). I took home half the pasta and the broth from the mussels and boiled sme shrimp in the sauce for the next day's lunch and ate the pasta that night for dinner. TWO great days of eating. Can't wait to return and try some other things."

  • "The food was very good. The menu is varied and has a number of combinations that are imaginative and very tasty. The service was not very good. The food came out slow and we were served one at a time (party of four). I would recommend the place but it has so much potential but would have to improve the service to get top billing.s"

  • "My family and I had dinner last Sunday night. We enjoyed attentive service and a wide selection of starters and main dishes. The fish was very fresh and prepared as ordered amongst a selection of sauces. The sides were very good as well, which included rices and vegetables. The desserts were very appealing. The owner was very attentive and personable as was her staff. Enjoyed our evening and would definitely return for another visit."

  • "Our group enjoyed our visit. Management made sure we were happy with our beer and wine selection. Great customer service from the management team. The staff did not hurry us out although they were closing. The food was quite good and I would recommend to friends."

  • "We went out to meet and catch up with a dear friend, so we wanted to find a nice, quiet restaurant with great food and a nice atmosphere. This restaurant lived up to what we wanted. The service was good. We ordered their pear salad and it was great. The best thing my husband and our friend ordered was the filet mignon from the grill, very tasty. Since it is the holidays and we were all a bit stuffed of sweets, we didn't order the fixed price 3 and 4 course dinners, but those are also nice options and in the future when we are more hungry we will order that way. We will definitely be going back to this restaurant and are glad we found it!"

  • "There were several times when I wanted to get exactly what I needed myself because the service was a disaster. A friend and I decided to go for their Jingle Bells Brunch on Christmas Day, but they seemed to mess up everything. I had to ask the busboy for our bloody mary's after waiting for 10 minutes and our server was no where to be found. Then, it took an incredibly long time for our food, and my eggs benedict was delievered without the crab. My friend wanted mustard for her burger and I litterally asked four different people four times and it was never delivered. We had to take her food togo because it was impossible to get the mustard and we could not stand to be there any longer. The food was decent, but the service ruined everything."

  • "Our first time at Angelique. Came for brunch but got both the brunch and the French Spice special lunch. The mimosa was well balanced. Not too sour like some places. The French omelet with everything was good. Well cooked and not salty like most places. The options on the French Spice menu was interesting and a good variety. Started off with the escargot. Perfect amount of butter. The mussels in white wine sauce with pomme frites was also excellent. The raspberry sorbet was pretty good. The French Spice menu was a great value. The only small downside was that the service was a bit slow. Took a look at the wine list and it was very interesting mix and extremely well priced. Definitely will return for dinner and wine."

  • "Everything I needed for service, mostly coffee refills, I had to flag a waiter down. My water glass was empty through much of the brunch. And, the waiter forgot about my dessert. I would have understood if it was busy, but it wasn't. I was there for the brunch, and have to say the food was really good. The portions were appropriate for price. The smoked salmon and prosciutto were relatively fresh. The overall quality of the food was just as I would expect for the price. I also really enjoyed the ambiance. It's very laid back, but not casual. The bar looked really interesting, and I can't wait to go back and check it out on a Friday night. It seems like a nice place to casually pick up a bottle of wine."
