Diner Reviews
  • "Angelinas has always been good but now with new chef it is superb. Service better than ever. Will be back!"

  • "We went here two years ago it was great. The menu, the atmosphere, and service. This time around we didn't recognize the menu. Who put this together? From what country? It's not Italy ! We won't be back unless the chef comes back to earth, or at least Italy ."
    Dined on 4/13/2014
  • "The new menu is great. The food was served in a reasonable time and came out hot. Would recommend anyone to try the new dishes from the new chef."

  • "We returned to Angelinas this season after many wonderful dining experiences there last year and before. We felt that the menu was very limited. Food was not as exceptional as it has been. Service also seemed to be lowered a notch. Probably will not go back unless we see a much expanded menu. I think that they might have limited their menu to serve the high volume winter season."

  • "Great service, interesting menu. Wine over priced."

  • "We had dinner at Angelina's recently and just want to say our experience was wonderful from start to finish. Our seating was terrific, out waitress was the best (Marina) didn't rush us as I am a slow dining person - everything came in a reasonable amount of time - excellent food - I had the "butternut squash" as an entree' (the best) my husband had the "Veal Chop" said it was excellent - I had the Caprese Salad and my husband the Cesar Salad both were terrific. Desserts were out of this world - very satisfying . A little pricey but worth it - can't wait to go back !!!!"

  • "Angelina has been my favorite for a long time, however since the new chef came on board -- OMG, outstanding."

  • "Angelina is certainly a fine restaurant locate far from the maddening crowd. They offer great food, fine wine and superlative service. Rebecca did a great job and Angela chose the perfect wine Your concept of a true Italian paced dinner is a good one. The chef is offering the freshest ingredients prepared and presented properly. Please have the patience to make this concept work"

  • "Funny to be there at 4:30 in the afternoon and have the bar full - but it was. Half price wine and appetizers does draw the snowbirds. The pizettes were great, as was the barolo."

  • "After we gave waiter a credit card, he returned to say that the card had been denied. What he failed to say is that he had charged another table's meal to our card, and when he tried to charge our meal also, the charge was denied. He should have been honest about his error, but he wasn't. Management also knew about the error, but no one came to apologize. We only learned of the error when we called the next day to complain about charges on two different credit cards for the same evening."

  • "Angelina's is a special evening out. Reservations are a must and request a booth if possible. We had a table around their circular wine cellar, which was nice but felt a bit out in the open. The booths seemed much more private and intimate. Our waiter was very prompt and knowledgeable, guiding us through the various options on the menu. The wine list is weighted on the Italian side but other options are also available. We enjoyed the calamari and their version of Insalata Caprese. I opted to do a small plate of the Corzetti and by husband had the Osso Buco, both of which were outstanding. The beautiful decor and opulent fabrics lent a very romantic feel to the evening. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant."

  • "We've lost count how many times we've been to Angelina's but we can honestly say we have never had a disappointing experience there. We were delighted to have Klaudia as our server. She is truly excited to describe the dishes on the menu and is very knowledgable about the ingredients and prep. This restaurant strives to give you a five star experience each and every time. The new beet salad was delicious and our old standby butternut squash ravioli tasted as good as the first time we had it. Our entrees of strip sirloin and pork osso bucco were done to perfection. We tried a new cannoli dessert which was the perfect size to end the meal. The wine list will make you cry it is so vast! Can't wait to return."

  • "The food was good, but we prefer calamari to be cut in thinner pieces before being fried. The tomato sauce with it was outstanding. My Cobia was delicious, but my husband's scallops were a bit on the mushy side. The salads and pastas were very good. Our waiter, Chad, was wonderful. The complimentary after dinner drink was a nice touch."

  • "First time there and wouldn't repeat. Several dishes (one salad and one entree) were very salty. Two pasta entrees were kvercooked....very gummy. Seemed as if they were kept under a heat lamp. Salads were mediocre."
    Dined on 3/23/2014
  • "after hearing several people rave about it at the beach we decided to go, the waiter was a joke describing the food and new chef as well as telling us how much the reggiano cheese cost was. by the way we own italian gourmet markets and the food was fair and overpriced based on the quality. also the waiter was a bit condescending. will not return"

  • "great!!!!! from the water service to the desert. bread and antipasto tray were awesome. wine list doesn't quit. server was great. everything was excellent."

  • "It was me and my girlfriends 2 year anniversary and they made us a card saying happy anniversary and i didn't even ask for one. They made my girlfriend feel real special and the food was amazing. It was worth every penny."

  • "The food was excellent although pricy, only 2 entries under $50.00"

  • "Kitchen was very slow. Our food came about a half hour late. What we ate was good, but beware of the service"

  • "On our recent return trip, we were greeted and seated promptly. The menu is large with many varied offerings. Our waiter explained everything we needed to know to help us choose our entrees and appetizers. The veal chop, although pricey, is the best I've ever had. I ordered it again, and was not disappointed. The rest of our group also enjoyed their food. We will be back!"

  • "It was noisy that evening, but the food and service were both very good. However, my first entree choice (pork osso buocco) was sold out, so I had to choose a backup, a chicken dish, though that was very good. The wine list is very extensive, with a wide variety of wines- it is superior, and our waitress recomended a good and reasonablyu priced italian wine. This was our second trip and we will definitely return."

  • "Delicious evening. Outstanding food. Beautifully plated. Romantic. Highly recommend this restaurant"
    Dined on 3/17/2014
  • "Ridiculously expensive! I can understand how a restaurant needs to make the majority of their profits during the "season", but these folks try and do it in one day."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "Thanks to our very knowledgeable, friendly and most professional server Corbin, we were guided through the diverse gourmet menu. Homemade and locally-sourced made for a fine dining experience! The lobster pasta, caprese salad, the cobia fish and our zappole for dessert were absolutely delicious!! Thanks to our server's rec, I also enjoyed an expresso martini with our dessert. So good! Probably, one of the very best, if not the Best restaurant for food, ambiance and an overall fine dining experience. My husband and I would highly recommend it to those who really enjoy dining out for fine food and libations. A mangiani!"

  • "If you want to feel treated like royalty and enjoy a "gourmet" dinner ... than Angelina's the restaurant for you. It is a gem!!"
    Dined on 3/16/2014
  • "The food was amazing. Our server, Chris, was very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. The prices are high, but the experience was worth it for a special occasion. The reason I didn't rate the food excellent is because a couple of our choices (pasta dishes) were absolutely delicious but they were a bit too rich for our tastes."

  • "We come here every year while in town. When I heard there was a new chef & new menu, I worried it wouldn't be as good as remembered. While the menu is different & didn't include my standby favorites, it was still really good. While maintaining the Italian tradition of primi & secondy piatti's, there are few traditional Italian dishes. I longed for risotto but not here... the menu has changed to a "European" style as explained by our waiter. The private booths are so romantic. There are only four so book early for one. They are round & even have drapes for extreme privacy although I've never seen them closed. The wine selection by bottle or glass is outstanding, as is, the 2 story circular wine closet in the middle of the restaurant."

  • "Excellent Italian food, we shared an antipasto, excellent quality ingredients. The veal chop was also exceptional. We will definitely return,in the future."

  • "This was my third time eating at Angelina's - they have a a new chef that has improved the menu and added some creatfve flair along the way. I'd found the service in the past to be pretentious but, with the exception of the hostess (who seemed far more interested in prioritizing the phone vs customers standing in front of her), the service was friendly, informative and efficient. Having had a subpar performance last time I was there we decided to give it one last shot - glad we did."

  • "My Wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at Angelina's Ristorante. The food was excellent and the service as well. The menu is different than you would find in other Italian Restaurants in the Bonita Springs area. The appetizers are fresh and tasty. I had the delicately fried Calamari Fritti and Annette had Cozze alla Puttanesca. The Pasta dishes were unique. I had Corzetti con Granchio, Annette had Agnolotti di Vitello. Our Entrees were Cernia Mediterranea and Maiale alla Milanese. Wonderfully Italian! The wine list extensive and the deserts did not overwhelm you. Nicely decorated Ambience. We will be back!"

  • "Great decor, very traditional. Food good except the Caesar salad. Value pretty good, but still expensive."

  • "The food here has always been good but since the have a new chef from Chicago Spiaggia's, it is fantastic. I brought clients there and they said it was the best Italian meal they had ever eaten in the US. I don't know how they cook the calamari but it is delicious and not rubbery. It's a great appetizer. The butternut squash ravioli is to die for. The service from the time you arrive and are greated by the valet Parker til you leave and he remembers your name, is the best. You feel like family and not just another person out for dinner."

  • "Noisy, unfriendly server and too expensive. will not be back!!!"
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "We received a gift certificate and looked forward to using it. But to begin with we were disappointed with the menu choices, they are very limited. The serving sizes are extremely small. We did not like the way the food was prepared, not Italian style as we know it. Our waiter, Mauricio gave us the impression that he did not like his job. Definitely not worth the high price we paid. Will not be returning."

  • "The four of us totally enjoyed our dining experience, the food was excellent, server was so knowledgable and attentive. Great wine list. We found it a little pricey though."
