Great Venue, it is nice to have a venue with very good food and quality entertainment. They have private dining for their regulars and then 2 incredible theatre style rooms if you want to see a dinner show.We had reservations to see Will Russ do Sam Cooke songs, INCREDIBLE SHOW!! Their garden area is very european - incredible. I have never seen anything like Angelicas- what a great find. I will be back in February as they are closing for remodeling

  • Bizarre experience that made
    OpenTable Diner Since 2007
    Dined on 12/10/2012
Bizarre experience that made us wonder if the waitress was having some personal issue or what exactly was going on. Two at our table ordered the steak with prawns. No prawns and the waitress said, oh we don't have them tonight. Perhaps letting them know in advance in case they wanted something different. Another at our table ordered pasta and was brought a crepe. Order of diet coke - brought coke instead. The list just goes on of all the mistakes. Food was pretty much just ok. Definitely one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. This was a small company holiday meal with the CEO - certainly not where we will gather again.

  • Band "Soul Providers" Rocked It
    OpenTable Diner Since 2011
    Dined on 8/10/2012
The local band, "Soul Providers" was a great treat. On weekends Angelica's show room becomes a feature point for local talent, and the "Soul Providers" are about as much fun as you could possibly imagine. The food is interesting, the service was ok, for a big show room all being served at about the same time ... mistakes should be expected The sound ... was deafening, which seems to be the "normal" settings for their sound person, maybe that's 'barely audible' in his booth. But the band was an absolute blast, with a good sized dance floor in the center of the room, the "Soul Providers" kept that floor full and smiling, dancers & band members obviously having fun. A great time, I would definitely go there agai

First time visiting this establishment. Greeted nicely with a thank you to show appreciation that we were running 5-10 mins late as we were stuck in commuter traffic. Sat out in patio area where a office or group event was taking place which appears to make it a local favorite. Portobella sandwich was tasty. Unusual version of greek salad with spinach. Live music was beginning as we were leaving. Want to go back for high tea.

The food was ok. The penne pasta with marinara and the salad that was order tasted bland, but the antipasto appetizer was delicious. The management there seemed to be unorganized in how they were working that day. It could have been an off day for them. However, I really would like to return and try some of their beer. I saw a couple that orderd these massive mugs of brew. I want one of those!

First off, they didn't have my name or reservation!therefore, we got a really bad table way in the back of the courtyard. I even had an email from the restr. manager (Peter), but still, no table reservation for my group. we arrived with prepaid tickets also. i talked with other people there who did not buy prepaid tickets, nor did they pay a cover charge when they arrived. I feel rather stupid by doing the right thing here and getting my tickets (along with a surcharge) in advance, when others walked right in. Our waiter had to come back twice to let us know they were out of the drinks we ordered (and all they serve is beer and wine - you think they would stock up on it). And, when the food arrived he gave the plates to the wrong people.

  • Unpleasant ambience
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010
    Dined on 7/13/2012
The ambience is 'different', maybe a bit garden funky. We ordered Crepes. Mine was the chicken and my husband ordered the vegetarian. Both came with mixed green salads with a viniagrete dressing. Both were good, but not exceptional. Our particular dining experience was, I'm hoping not the norm since there was a party of 3 or four couples with several grade school age children that lingered and visited in the back patio dining area. The children were obnoxiously loud and running around W/parents selfishly oblivious to other diners in the area. This made for a rather unpleasant dining experience. We felt that the management should have said something to the parents but that didn't happen, it went on for most of our meal.

Went solely for special French music performance by friends on Bastille Day (also went last year). Outdoor back patio seating is nice (indoors was quite warm), but manager was very, very slow at seating people, even without a crowd. Also, no liquor license so margaritas were made with some sub-standard variant of tequila. Way too sweet, no tequila character, had to return it. They shouldn't bother to have such drinks on the menu if they don't have a liquor license to allow their proper preparation. Wine selection is modest and wines do not appear to be stored in a controlled environment. But great and unusual beer selections. Food pretty good but nothing special. I wouldn't bother to go if it weren't for our friends performing.

The theater and musical entertainment at Angelica's makes it very special place to spend a lively and enjoyable evening. The kitschy furnishings and decor of the old building add to the ambiance. And while the menu is not expansive, the food is consistently very good. The salmon is tender and tasty, and the burgers are wonderful. For the beer lovers, the menu of local craft brews and foreign beers is the largest I've ever seen.

We attended the Molly's Revenge sold out show on Friday, June 29th. It was a lively crowd with wonderful irish dancers accompanying the band. The food was delicious!! I had the Grilled Salmon Salad and my fish was perfection. My Hubby had the Pasta Alfredo and raved about the creaminess of the sauce. The Banana, Nutella & Honey crepe for dessert was amazing! Our waiter was especially attentive and made great suggestions for wine & dessert. He had a great sense of humor and made the night very enjoyable.

We went to Angelica's to see a local music group that we like. We got there very early, ordered food, and waited for the show to begin. The food was quite good, salmon was perfectly done, servings were quite generous. One small complaint: although we were early, they were out of their signature dish (bread pudding), which was disappointing. Once the sold-out concert started, the staff was over-worked and service wasn't all that good. I walked into the bar to serve myself, but nobody ever looked at me at all; finally my server discovered me and asked what I wanted. That's not so good. Environment is extremely loud once the place fills up! Overall, a nice place, nice people, I'd go back again.

We love the European style seating (you sit with strangers) and the ambience. It's an historic gem, small and intimate for a theatre. Food was yummy, service was very friendly but not fast; this is not a place to go for a quick bite. We chatted with our tablemates, enjoyed our food and the night's entertainer, who was interactive in this small venue. My hubby commented while we were there that it felt like we were on vacation!

Went there to see a music performance. Music was great. Service was a little slow. We were there for a long time before a server came to take our order, and we were the first ones there. The next table with a large group of people who came later were served and got their food before us. Later, we had to "find" our server to ask for more water, just because we finished our dinner and was listening to the music didn't mean that we didn't want any water.
