I had the scrambled egg sandwish with fries... please offer a fruit side for the ladies.. it was to heavy for me
My husband really enjoyed his French toast..

We were very impressed by the food and especially by the serving staff ... very respectful and he made exceptional wine pairing suggestions. Much care goes into the food preparation ... French rots with a modern flair. What a great surprise. I was expecting a quiet French type place and was delighted to feel a great
buzz in the air when we arrived. I was impressed by the menu on line and had already chosen a few
items that I was planning to try. The countyr pate, and the pork belly were delicious appetizers and the waiter
helped us pair a glass of wine to have with each. Many of the entrees jumped out at us but we shared the petrale
which was delicious, light, and very fresh. We couldn't decide on the dessert so we asked our waiter to surprise us
and he chose the butterscoth puding with toffee flakes and whip cream. YUM! I had the sweetbreads to start because I simply can't resist. They were definitely some of the most cared for glands I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Cleaned to perfection, lightly breaded and cooked to a delicate perfection that melted in your mouth. I cannot say enough about them!! Then I moved on to the veal cheeks (and tongue). This was surprising to me. I've had many cheeks before but these were so fragile and buttery that I almost had to do a double take. The tongue was also impressive. This time around the food has gotten more imaginative, the service better and the wine list broader. A first-class experience with Bouchon-quality food, at a fraction of the price. My husband and I left saying, "when was the last time we had a meal where EVERYTHING exceeded expectations? I'm critical about my French Onion Soup, it's easy to go wrong in the preparation - Angele's was brilliant, as was the salad, fish of the day and pork cheeks. We will be back. We were quickly greeted and offered to set in our out. We chose in because it was less crowd but it was a beautiful patio. Every step of the way we were treated to timely attentive service without the interruption during our meeting. Food was presented beautifully and tasted just as beautiful. I would describe the menu selection as French country comfort food. The chef changes enough items seasonally that we always have new choices. The restaurant is so popular that the ingredients are always the freshest. The only problem is that you have to make a reservation for the prime dining hours, because it is a favorite with locals as well as tourists. The staff were very friendly and our reservation time was respected and filled. We were allowed to sit at a table for 4 despite our party being only 2. It was a little bit cold outside so we didn't sit on the patio. It was a pretty area. The restaurant has a warm ambiance. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. We ordered the seared Scallop with clams. The clams had an unusual amount of shell in them. Each one was like chewing rocks. The Scallop was cooked perfectly.
