Andy's BistroExcellent choice!!!"I very much enjoyed the relaxed feel of
the place - warm and comfortable dining
room. I definitely would return to try more
dishes. Beautiful bar area...5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMA Friend RecomendedA work friend recomended this place, he was right, the food is great, and so was the service. I love the crab cake with jalapino, and the Ribeye steak was awesome. I took my wife and In-laws and they all said thier food was good. the atmosphere is nice also, there are a lot of windows in the resturant.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat New Steak Place......IF you LIKE Ruth's YOU'LL LOVE Andy's!!!! Andy's has a great steak comparable to Ruth's (Really)! Oh and how bout dem
$0.50 Martini's??? Dey are big and tasty!!! Just a great restuarant with a great menu and pricing you can afford!!!!!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst experience at Andy's BistroI enjoyed ny trip to Andy's very much indeed. I went bringing two guests and we were all quite pleased. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient, and the service left notjing to be desired. The menu is an interesting mix of the familiar and the eclectic. The Gulf fish of the day, for instance, was Sheepshead, a delicacy well known to locals, but seldom found on a restaurant menu. My favorite?.....the Crab Napolean was to die for. I will certainly be back.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AM7 ladies and no problems --7 ladies and no problems -- you know the place is a gem!!!4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGoing back with 7 friends.Going back with 7 friends. My husband and I enjoyed throughly.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMTwo Thumbs Up!Lunch was delicious, and service was excellent. Onion rings and crab cakes were the best I have ever eaten. Had the special (seafood platter), which was very reasonably priced and plentiful. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AM4th trip to Andy's. One of4th trip to Andy's. One of the best steaks in the New Orleans area. It's very had to beat!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA group of five of us wentA group of five of us went to dinner on a Thursday night. The service was very good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. My one pet peeve of all restaurants is when the staff clears plates from the table while I am taking my last bite. I hate, hate, hate this. I have bread in one hand, am still chewing my appetizer, and here comes the bus staff picking up the appetizer plate and the bread plate. PLEASE RESTAURANTS: We hate this. Please let us finish our food and not feel rushed! The food was very good. The Oysters Andrea are excellent! The shrimp and grits had a New Orleans BBQ sauce that was tasty, but overpowered the delicate taste of the cheese grits. I think the sauce should have been a bit milder.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMNew gem in the heart of MetairieFirst time at Andy's after hearing good reviews. Food was excellant from the Oysters Andrea to the Shrimp & Grits. Went very early dinner since we had a concert to attend that evening so hard to judge the noise level but seems like a place you could have a large party and not interupt a couple. Service was outstanding...very attentive, courses came out nicely timed from the appetizer. Will definitely return!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWent back and brought anotherWent back and brought another couple. Everything we had was perfect, including the two steaks the men enjoyed. Can't wait to go back!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMNew Bistro Digs in MetairieWe had a group of 5 and each had a different entree and they were all spot on. Double-cut chop was excellent. And their steaks literally sizzle...arrive on an oven-heated plate. I know that this is a new restaurant and things are still evolving but progress seems good. Bar is a highlight and even tried Tomas' bacon-infused bourbon cocktail and it was a super. I would recommend this new restaurant which I believe is only a few months old.2/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBistro comes to MetairieThis restaurant is new - less than a month. However, it has a pedigree with link to well known Italian restaurant, Andrea's. Chef, Dwight Sherman, has been around with stops at Emeril's, TPC Louisiana, Ralph & Kacoos. The restaurant has upside as it finds itself and will save Metairie residents the long drive into New Orleans for comparable bistro-style food. As a new dig, the food is variable however the service is very attentive, the interior is perfect and Tomas at the bar is top-notch. Best Sazerac this side of Parish line. The chef also loves to chat and is very open to comments about fare and service. My wife's salmon was grand but my redfish only so-so. My recommendation is to give the place a try and be patient. Success is near.1/21/2013 12:00:00 AM
