Diner Reviews
  • "We went there on the price fixed menu. We were very pleased. The ambience was excellent, the food was outstanding, and the service could not be beat"

  • "Classic French cuisine and old fashioned silver service - a great combination! Slightly hidden away in the Monte Carlo, but worth finding. After the amuse bouche, my starter, mushroom veloute, arrived covered in a silver cloche. It was lovely but a very large portion. For the main I had the steak au poivre which was cooked perfectly (also arrived covered by a cloche). I just had to try the chocolate soufflé for dessert, which was fabulous, but I couldn't finish it all."

  • "Went using a certificate. Not sure if Caesar salad is French but the salad dressing was great. Husband had a delicious French onion soup and the lightest and flakiest fish. I had duck which was divine and a very generous portion. Also was very lean. The crime brûlée was the best I've ever had. Service was great. Pretty small place, quiet, and romantic. Not many people there when we arrived at 7:30 but more came later."

  • "Just another great experience. I took a group of clients here and the service and food was amazing as always. Marc, Alfredo and the entire stafff are so friendly and helpful. Its just a great dining experience"

  • "Reasonably priced by Vegas standards... Very good French restaurant... Not the creme de la creme, but it doesn't have those prices either... Very quality, well done French! Sautéed Foie Gras and Duck entree were fabulous! If your going for the food, this is a good place... If you're looking for the IT place in Vegas, you'd probably like somewhere else better. Great meal here!"

  • "Second time at Andres & it lived up to expectations & more. Our guests for the evening were thoroughly impressed with the food, the service & the extensive wine list. 5 stars all round."

  • "I used the TravelZoo voucher, and I am very glad I got to try this place. It is my favorite place; the food was all excellent and top-notch, service was nice and non-intrusive, and the decor and ambiance were perfect for a quiet dinner with my mom. The beef/watercress salad was amazing, and the lemonade cake was perfection. Thanks for everything!"

  • "If staying in Las Vegas, stop by Andre's at the Monte Carlo if you enjoy fine French Cuisine. Not a cheap meal but the food service and atmosphere make it worth the price. Starting with an excellent but reasonably priced bottle of white wine from New Zealand, followed by seared sea scallops, one of the best onion soups I have ever had, later followed by venison prepared inside a puff pastry and topped off by a Grand Mariner Soufflé, the entire meal was beyond expectations and when I return to Las Vegas it will be on my list of places to go back to."

  • "A wonderful French dining experience. Attention to detail at its best. Food reparation was exceptional. It is welcome to find such a truly wonderful dining experience like the one at Andre's."

  • "The one dish I will never get tired of is Andre's unparalleled lobster thermidor. Andre's uses only the freshest and highest quality ingredients in their dishes and you will know it as soon as your plate hits your table. The aroma from the complex yet simple presentation will tempt your taste buds in to anticipation immediately. This not your usual restaurant in Vegas, every aspect of dining is perfected from the service to the food to the ambience. Do NOT overlook this GEM as they deliver what they promise-perfection!"

  • "Wonderful food, great service, beautiful place. Service was efficient and friendly (but not overly so), and every course was just as good as the last. I last ate here in 2007 (last time I was in Las Vegas) - it's just as good if not better. Bravo!"

  • "We chose this restaurant because we were both craving traditional escargot. It was wonderful! The setting was intimate; quiet; classy and a welcome change from most in Las Vegas. The steak was cooked as asked, tender and flavorful with a topping of foi gras to die for. Great side dishes and the surprise of the evening was when they told us they had five different soufflés which must be ordered at the beginning of the meal to be ready. I am not a great desert fan, but..... carrot cake soufflé with cream cheese anglese sauce is an experience not to miss."

  • "If you are looking for an excellent dinner with a serene atmosphere in the middle of casino life, Andre's is a great choice. It is small and elegant with a very attentive staff and outstanding food. Be sure to request a booth if possible."

  • "Love going to andres but not even sure why theres a special request box on open table when this restaurant completely ignores it. Noted that I was also celebrating a special occasion and they looked right past it. Kinda hurt the experience . Food was still good as usual."

  • "We ate at Andres for restaurant week , they put out an amazing 3 course meal for $50. Even though we chose the restaurant week fixed menu we were treated wonderfully by the staff. This restaurant never disapoints."

  • "We ate here several nights ago using a Travelzoo voucher. The restaurant was quiet, the food was beautifully presented and delicious, the only minor setback was being slightly rushed by the staff, as if they wanted to get us in and out very fast although only 4 other tables were occupied. We would return again."

  • "My wife and I arrived 15 minutes before the reservation and was seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The three courses were promptly served after hot French bread and butter. Not a single bite was left on the plates. Menu selections were large and filling. The lobster bisque was a spicy and flavorful. The potato crusted bass was moist and perfectly seasoned. The herb roasted chicken and sausage was melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right amount of herbs and spices to compliment the very juicy chicken. The deserts were a slice of heaven. The chocolate soufflé and Crème Brule were the best I have ever eaten. Dining at Andre's was a romantic, culinary experience. I give Andre's Restaurant my highest rating ever."

  • "This is our special dining experience when in Vegas, we save one night for it. Highly recommend rather than all the other over priced $$$$ restaurants, especially since it is not open to the casino or hallway. It is so quiet you can actually talk to each other! What a real restaurant should be."

  • "My wife and I dine at Andre's several times each month and have been doing so since we discovered it. The food is consistently great and the attitude of all the employees is wonderful. The staff provides a service which sets the standard for all top restaurants in town. I know because we have tried most of them and keep coming back. You won't be disappointed. I believe Customer Satisfaction is Job #1 for Andre's. Thanks again, Terry and Kathy"

  • "I have been coming to Las Vegas at least once a year with friends for the past 25 years, and we almost always treat ourselves to a nice dinner every evening. If I have had a better dining experience than Andre's in all these years, I can't remember it. The atmosphere is intimate, the service outstanding, and the meal was the best one I have ever had while in Las Vegas. Not what you would expect to find in the Monte Carlo resort, but wow! I can guarantee that we will be coming back to this restaurant on our next trip to Las Vegas, and truly, I expect to come here every time I am in town from here on out. P.S. If you like cigar room's, the upstairs room was a perfect way to end the evening's dining experience!"

  • "My wife and I dined for dinner Saturday night 2/15.. I have experience with Andre's when it was downtown Las Vegas but had not visited the Monte Carlo location. My wife had the duck breast entree and it was absolutely fantastic. Beautifully prepared and delicious. I had Dover sole which was good and fresh. But was a little over cooked for my taste and a little dry. On a spectacular fish this takes a lot away from the flavor. IMO Service was good,,, and the special treat of cold cauliflower soup was served courtesy of the chef.. Nice touch. Overall an enjoyable evening..... Five stars for the duck,,,three and a half for the Dover sole"

  • "This is our local favorite restaurant. We love the food, staff and service."

  • "While the ambiance was nice and the service was overwhelmingly great, we felt the food was pedestrian. The portions where fair, not to much and not to large. The food overall though was lacking flavor. We went to Andre's expecting to be floored after reading some reviews, but left underwhelmed."

  • "I was completely happy with my choice to dine there as the food and service was some of the best I've seen and would recommend this restaurant 100%."

  • "It was ALL GREAT. We stopped in for happy hour in the lounge before dinner. Very nice and cozy with a fireplace. Drinks were very good (my wife loved their Cucumber Collins) and very reasonably priced, especially during happy hour. My wife had the lobster bisque, sea bass (with added lobster tail), and the chocolate soufflé. I had the beef carpaccio, duck breast (added foie gras), and the banana ice cream profiteroles. Every single thing was incredible. The duck breast and foie gras were the best I've ever had. And the profiteroles were perfect. To top it all off they gave us truffles at the end of the meal that were tremendous. Overall, if you want a top meal with top notch service and a wonderful experience, this is the place."

  • "Excellent restaurant from start to finish. We were seated in the main dining room on the first floor, behind two large double doors. It definitely felt more formal than the dining rooms upstairs. Since it was Valentine's Day, it was a prix fixe menu. The waiter explained the selections for each course on the menu. The staff was very attentive without being bothersome. The food was excellent, especially the scallops. Overall, an excellent dining experience."

  • "The food at this restaurant is really good, don't get me wrong. However, I have no idea how this place became guide michelin-starred. It's simply not the type of food you expect at a 1* place. The entrees are big portions of good, yet unsophisticated food. While this may appeal to the casual Vegas-victim tourist, the sophisticated foodie will be disappointed (our last visit a few months ago to a 1* place in NYC was just in a different league). We had venison and duck, and again, the ingredient quality was great. The wine list is quite short. The atmosphere is very good, the interior looks really nice. It's quiet and comfortable, and the multi-room layout makes you feel like you're in a small, intimate place instead of a huge restaurant."

  • "The food was absolutely delicious and service was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant, without a doubt. Too bad it's tucked away in the corner of the Monte Carlo. I'm sure if this restaurant was in a more visible space, it could and would get the attention it deserves."

  • "They have additional seating upstairs for larger parties. The staff was extremely prompt with out being obtrusive. The food was fantastic the wine was amazing! We had been to their cigar lounge upstairs (best kept secret) once before and loved it. At the end of our dinner we wanted to smoke a cigar. When we asked the staff they promptly took our wine and water upstairs and met us to get us our cigars. We sat in their lounge enjoying the wine, the fire place and the cigars. You will be amazed how serene this restaurant and cigar lounge are just steps off of the Strip. There was a gentlemen in the booth next to us with a cold that disrupted our dining experience., otherwise great."

  • "These are the best F-words! Wow! Starting with the escargots and making your way through the foie gras on pumpkin bread (divine!) and lasting through the foie gras Rossini on the flat iron steak will make you sing! This was the best meal in a while. The carpaccio and duck breast were also superb but I would definitely return for a foie gras festival and I will be sure to save room for the decadent chocolate soufflé and the most delicious complimentary truffle deserts! Zowie. C'est magnifique."

  • "As always the cuisine is great. The Caesar and iceberg salads are great. The duck was tremendous, especially the sauce. The monkfish was also tremendous. Great wine selection and many at reasonable prices."

  • "Andre Rochat brought French cuisine to Las Vegas over 30 years ago. He has retired as the everyday chef. I would have to say the food quality is one star less than his five, but still very much worth the visit.."
