  • "The zucchini appetizer was a disappointment, tasteless, just a lump of melted cheese. I had ordered this same appetizer on another visit and it was excellent - way different this time. The Muffuletta sandwich had one slice of cheese, salami tomato and lettuce, the balance was some type of ordinary ham, and the olive spread for which this sandwich is famous for was almost non existent. Very disappointed."

  • "As our favorite restaurant for entertaining guests, the travel distance ( 50 miles) is worth every mile. The hostess & waiter were superb in greeting and serving us. Our favorite dishes have never disappointed, ie. crab cakes, salmon, wedding soup, dessert presentation, and our all-time favorite cole slaw. May we, also, commend Andoras for offering an attractive & up-scale dining table that compliments the superb food served to guests. Although we were seated in the restaurant, it is apparent that the bar provides a welcome end-of-day relaxation setting for local business people who frequent the restaurant. We look forward to enjoying, again, the outstanding ambiance, this summer, of dining outside on the attractive deck."

  • "we were looking for a place to take my mom to celebrate her 85th b-day and found andora via a web search. it had great reviews and a range of offerings on the menu that would satisfy everyone in our party. we were there a bit on the early side (5:30) and were in the smaller of the 2 front dining rooms (there is a bar in the back room). service was excellent and the food was tasty and well-prepared (the only thing that was average was the rice). dessert was equally delicious and they served mom the biggest piece of cheesecake i have ever seen. seriously, heads turned when our waitress entered the room with our dessert tray. don't be fooled by the outward appearance of the building & definitely give andora a try. we'll be going back."

  • "This is not the first time that we have been to this restaurant and it won't be the last.... Their food is wonderful, I've never been disappointed. The waitstaff is excellent - they are never obvious but are always there when you want them. I had the Andorra's chicken and it was delicious. Don't pass this one by."

  • "Always rate this restaurant higher in the spring through fall when you can eat outside. Inside the restaurant has very low ceilings, tables are set very close, you can hear the conversations at many tables and those tables can hear you. Food is terrific but doesn't quite compensate for the complete lack of ambiance."

  • "We had an excellent dining experience! Our table was ready upon our arrival so we were seated immediately. Our wait person was superior, very attentive and pleasant. Our dinners, scallops served with risotto and asparagus and cod served with potatoes and asparagus, were excellent. I would absolutely recommend Andora's to anyone who is looking for a restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and outstanding food!"

  • "I had randomly selected this restaurant because it was open on Sunday evening and it was some place new to me and the other members of my party. Inside was nice and cozy for a snowy winter evening. Our waitress was very nice and attentive; we made our menu selections and waited for her to return with the appetizer. It arrived a little longer than expected but I understood why after one bite - it was freshly made and delicious. Our main courses were amazing and served hot which pleased all of us. Out of the 4 of us we had ordered 3 selections and all 3 were outstanding. All 4 of us said that we would definitely return soon. My only disappointment was having been seated at a corner table and being trapped in the corner."

  • "We had a wonderful dining experience at Andora. We are from central PA...and found Andora online. The menu looked inviting and it was near where we were staying, so we took the chance. We had the filet, the crab cakes and a pasta dish. Each of us thought the meal was one of the best we have eaten in a long time. Personally, I had the filet. I have eaten at Morton's, Sullivan's, Ruth's Chris' Steakhouse.....and this steak was as good if not better prepared. The accompaniments were tasty and the desserts were wonderful as well. The portions are plenty.....and the service friendly, courteous and prompt without making one feel like they need to eat and run. We will be traveling back to the area to eat there again! I highly recommend."

  • "Very nice atmosphere. The staff treated us like family and it sounded like quite a few customers were repeat (we will be). My Husband got the horseradish crusted Cod and I got the chargrilled salmon and they were delicious - not one thing negative at all. Unfortunately our dinner was cut short by an emergency phone call. As we were leaving, to my surprise the gentleman in the front (I would guess the manager or owner) noticed that we were leaving not long after we sat down said you just sat down is something wrong? We replied that dinner was wonderful but we had to attend to a family emergency - how observant that he noticed and kind of him to be concerned. We will definately recommend and look forward to our next vist."

The dining area is split into several smaller sections, and the fireplace kept the room warm and inviting. They have a good wine list and the food was great. We had an early dinner, so there were not many others in our section until we were ready to leave. Our server was able to answer all our questions and seemed eager to help.   • "It was our 48the anniversary and instead of doing a downtown location, the first choice for both of us was Andora's. We got there early to enjoy a glass of wine at the bar, and when the bartender heard us say it was our anniversary, we got a complimentary glass of wine. My only wish is that they would reopen again the in south hills."

  • "Unfortunately, our dining experience on Saturday was disappointing. We knew we weren't going for haute cuisine so our expectations were not set high. The service was attentive and prompt. The dining room tables were very close together so you could hear bits of conversation from other tables. The food was lackluster; the filet mignon was tasteless, the veal marsala on the other hand was tender and nicely prepared. Each entrée came with the mashed potatoes which were just lukewarm (haven't the food safety people warned us of lukewarm foods?) and the vegetables were almost raw. I understand that you don't cook vegetables to mush but the almost raw approach went out in the 80's or 90's."

We also enjoyed the spicy sausage stuffed into increduibly hot banana peppers and three cheese zucchini ribbons appetizers. Only regret is that we didn't save room for dessert."
