Diner Reviews
  • "We are regular patrons at the Mt. Nebo restaurant, since we were meeting friends from the North, we Southies agreed to meet there to see how the place was. In fact, on the 27th of April, I booked a luncheon at Mt. Nebo to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, and we are looking forward to it. I have had a shower luncheon in the past for my daughter in law, and all went well and everyone was wonderful to us. We always suggest Andora for lunch or dinner."

  • "the manager is never present when bar is busy and beth needs help she is nice but not good by herself and hostess could be more helpful but it goes back to management we could ask for bread with aap. and not receive it till our food arrives with asking for it once again . menu needs more, after a couplke visit its boring. they took a shrimp apt, off that we really liked as well.close for us but not a go to anymore"

  • "My husband and I came here for dinner after he arrived home from being away for the week. It was a bleak rainy night and the restaurant was only about 1/2 full. We were seated between two other couples (tables are positioned too closely!) while most of the remainder of the room was empty. One couple argued their way through dinner which was annoying. My husband had the crab cakes and I had the fish. The waiter was very nice and accommodating but the food lacked anything that would have made it special. One of chefs came out of the kitchen part way through dinner and was chatting and laughing with the wait staff. My suggestion would be that he spend more time in the kitchen creating more appealing and tasty entrees."

  • "We had been patrons at the other Andora's and loved it, but we weren't' sure what to expect this this one. We were pleasantly surprised to see that it maintained the good food and service."

  • "I ordered the Horseradish Crusted Atlantic Cod and was somewhat disappointed. It did not have enough flavor in my opinion and was pretty bland....I was expecting a little more kick. My friend ordered a capellini pasta with seafood and sausage, which was fabulous! The menu had a lot of interesting dishes, therefore I will return a try something else next time."

  • "We went on a Sunday after Valentine's day to celebrate. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. The BLT Flatbread appetizer was simple and delicious. I had the Eggplant and it was wonderful. My wife had the Whitefish with Horseradish sauce. It was light and tasty. We would definitely go back for the Eggplant and recommend it to others!"

  • "The food was good. But you can get good food lots of places. The service was good. But you can get good service lots of places. The menu was interesting enough to go back and try something else. The atmosphere was comfortable. Not overcrowded. The prices were too high for what we got. Salads are extra. A good reason not to go back."

  • "The Food was good but portions were not large. My husband and I went for a private dinner but we felt too close to the couple beside up and we did not stay long after we ate. Romantic setting but just not enough room I felt for the diners to have privacy"

  • "We enjoyed a group outing to the new location for Andorra's, but it didn't offer the experience we expected. Granted, the night we went was a snowstorm, so perhaps they were down a couple servers, but overall the service was terrible. Very slow. Everyone's meals were good though."

  • "We loved the atmosphere.I had wanted to try the new location in cranberry as we had tried wexford a few years back.went there for my 37th bday .we had drinks appetizers and dinner.everything was fabulous! I and my husband were pleasantly surprised for this was the first place that asked us how we wanted our main course prepared and I had salmon which they typically don't give you a choice in how done you want it.at first the salmon said chargrilled and i don't like that chargrilled flavor I asked them if they could lightly cook it and it came out perfect.don't be afraid to speak up so your food is not overdone. They are very accommodating!!have been already recommending it to locals in the area."

  • "Food and service were outstanding. Went with 3 four year old boys. It was our first time there and I was nervouse at first when i seen how nice it was but was relieved when they put us in the back so the couples eating wouldn't be disturbed. Not a place for small children but highly recommended for date nights!"

  • "As you enter you feel as though it could be a nice evening. Staff is friendly and restaurant is clean. My wife and I reserved seats online which was great. Received a confermation call and email the day of. We were led to our table for two that was two feet away from the next table in a corner by a door to a second dining room. The lighting was bright which had me confused as to why there was a candle on the table. Service was prompt and attentive. Unfortunately the food was a bit on the bland side. My wife's Ahi Tuna lacked flavor. My veal was tough. Due to the bright lights and close proximity of our neighbor we were forced to limit our conversation to "how's your dinner" or "I wonder what the kids are up to?""

The food exceeded our expectations. We all decided we would go back anytime and I have been in the outside part a few times in the summer and it is lovely."

  • "The salads were very good, the veal that one of us ordered was tough and he was not able to cut it. Our server, Stacy, however, was AWESOME! She was very informative and extremely nice. I have eaten at the Sewickley location and thought that the food was better there. Would try it again for lunch though. Hope that Stacy will be working!"

  • "We made reservations for 8 for a Saturday night. 2 of us arrived early and sat at the bar for an hour. The bar staff was attentive, and recommended a great appetizer - a delicious flatbread.. Our table was ready on time, and the staff graciously accommodated us while we waited 30 minutes for 2 late arrivals. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was really great (love the shrimp bisque!), and the desserts were outstanding (peanut butter ice cream pie - a zillion calories, but worth every one!). It's a bit pricey, but for good food, great service, and a nice atmosphere, our group didn't mind."

  • "We went on a snowy Friday, so the restaurant was a little less busy than they probably would have been on a Friday. Our meals were very delicious and our waitress was very responsive. The restaurant was decorated very nice for hte holidays. Definitely coming back!"

  • "This was not what it was hyped to be. Although our appetizers (zucchini curls and soup of the day) were outstanding, the entres were nothing that couldn't have been made at home. Both were served with mashed potatoes that were cold, and were nothing special - just potatoes that were mashed. The veal marsala was inconsistent in the quality of the meat - one piece was very tender while the next was tough. The sauce also contained peppers that seemed to have a few that were added at the last minute, since they were barely cooked. The stuffed pork chops were also lacking. The sear was good, but the pork was dry and chewy. Althought the stuffing was good, it the spicy peppers overpowered the overall dinner. What a dissapointment."

  • "The new Andora restaurant in Cranberry has become our new go-to restaurant for special occasions. The menu is the same as the one on Mt Nebo Road, which we’ve always enjoyed. I rarely order scallops in restaurants because they’re often cooked incorrectly, but I’ve had them multiple times here and they have always been perfect. One thing I love about this place is that two people can split a salad without a hassle – the grilled asparagus is our favorite and by splitting it, we get enough to enjoy, but not too much to spoil our dinner. We also stopped by for lunch a few weeks ago and had a wonderful salmon salad – nice size and perfect for lunch."

  • "Food was somewhat cold. Mt Nebo site is more preferred. Didn't complain because it was a special occasion and did not want to ruin it for others in the party."

  • "We met my brother and his wife there and none of us had previously been there. My wife had two free appetizer coupons and they honored both of them. Since they were free I ordered the most expensive one, the crab cake. I thought they might limit the freeby to the cheapest ones on the list but they didn't. The crab cake was almost pure crab and tastest amazing. We all ordered different entrees and were all very impressed with the food, the waiter, the entire experience. I would say that the prices were on the high side of moderate, but certainly worth the food. I tried the chicken pot pie soup and it was wonderful. If you want a special place to eat and know that you won't be disappointed, try this restaurant."

  • "Impressions of Andora Cranberry were up and down. The otherwise elegant ambiance is compromised by the close proximity of the tables. The menu is short, creative and delicious, but a few items were unexpectedly pricey. After being quickly seated we waited almost 15 minutes for a server to appear, and this was NOT a busy night. The food and drink were exemplary; the wine was VERY good and affordable, and the Shrimp Bisque was superb. I had the Veal Marsala, also superb, and my wife had the crusted Tilapia, which was very good. The desserts looked good, but the meals were plentiful enough that we skipped dessert. Overall, great food, but the dining experience compromised a bit by slow service and too-close-for-comfort tables."

  • "We have been frequent customers in 2 Andora locations and, recently, have been disappointed with the service. Our server was pressing us to order and, after we did so, realized she neglected to share chef's specials. Our entrees which ranged from salmon, to pumpkin tortellini, to crabcakes were very good, however, our server was rushing us through our meal to the point where she tried to clear plates, including one of our guest's 3 times, before we were finished. When asked about interest in dessert while two of us were still enjoying our entrees, even our out of town guests mentioned they were feeling rushed and, as we looked around the restaurant, we could see several open tables. This is not what we have come to expect from Andora."

  • "Set a reservation and was seated on time. Overall greeting very good, waiter very good, service help very good. Menu selection was very good. Picked two appetizers,Zucchini ribbons and Jumbo lump crab cake . Both were outstanding. Main course Sesame crusted Ahi tuna(very good), Seared scallops with spicy soy sesame glaze(good, not great). Desert was very good. A little pricey just to stop in and eat, will return on special occasions."
