  • "After our first visit where the food was good but the service was very poor, we decided to try it again. We were very pleased to see the service was outstanding from Zach. Our meals were both well prepared. Previously we had one good and one less than good meal. Our first visit was soon after they reopened and it appears they are getting over the initial start up issues. Keep up the effort."

  • "It's hard to knock a restaurant where the ambience and is nearly perfect with excellent lighting and tables spread apart so there is always a feeling of intimacy. The service, while young and inexperienced, was well-trained and anxious to please. My date and I ordered dinner, for her salmon, for me a thin chicken breasts over a lemony sauce. The main courses were for the salt-deprived. Admittedly many diners have cut back on salt intake and are not geared for a salty course. The sauce, slathered over the chicken breasts defied anything I had experienced since I was a teen and swam into a swirling eddy in the Atlantic Ocean and came up with a mouthful of salt water. I still prefer properly salted meals but this was over the top."

  • "Main dining area was incredibly loud-terrible acoustics probably. Not feeling any ambiance. Main dining area smelled very fishy. Made reservations a week in advance and tried to seat us in a horrible location. Was shown a different table after commenting. My shrimp scampi was only okay. My husband's steak was very good. Wine list was nice. Our waiter was excellent--the best part of dining experience. Went for our 28th wedding anniversary dinner last year under different name, menu and management. Enjoyed that experience and hoped for a nice 29th anniversary dinner-sadly disappointed. Will not return."

  • "Our recent trip to Andiamo (my first visit to this location) was horribly disappointing. I had planned a small surprise birthday dinner for my best friend. We expected Andiamo style quality and excellence. What we received was the worst service I have EVER experienced dining out. It took over an hour to bring our food to us after we had ordered. The restaurant was empty and there were only 2 other tables of people. It was a weeknight. There was absolutely no excuse for such a long wait to receive our meals. No explanation or apology was given. The waiter serving our food was unbelievably rude. My friend actually had to LEAVE the birthday dinner and have the meal immediately boxed up since it took SO long to get our food. Will not return."

  • "Booked a few weeks in advance to make sure we had someplace special to go on Mother's Day. Didn't know until we arrived that they were only offering a $32/person buffet. No menu service. And the buffet did not look like anything special or offer a great selection. Very disappointing that this was not known ahead of time. Restaurant called on Saturday to confirm our reservation and didn't mention the buffet-only service. We wound up leaving, wondering who in town would not have a huge wait at 6:00pm on Mother's Day."

  • "I was really disappointed with my recent visit. I came on Mother's Day and the food was served via buffet and was not up to the same standard as I have had at other Andiamo establishments. My reservation didn't really specify that the food would be served buffet style which seemed very inappropriate for a Mother's Day dinner. The food was cold and it seemed as though they had a Mother's Day Lunch Buffet that was just left out all day and then they tried to serve it for Dinner. The buffet was grossly overpriced - more than a buffet at the Bellagio in Vegas and it just left a really impression on me. I won't be coming back to this Andiamo and likely none of the other Andiamo establishments. "

  • "The service was fantastic. We had a great and super friendly server. They were very accommodating when we had to add another person in half way through dinner. He picked up on the fact that I didnt want my kids to have the full size Shirley Temple kiddie cocktail, so he whispered to me asking if I wanted them in the kids smaller cup with a lid! Food was all delicious and the prices were very fair.Highly recommend this restaurant. "

  • "Andiamo's new Trattoria in Clarkson replaced long-standing staple, Mesquite Creek. We have dined twice at the Trattoria and have been very pleasantly surprised both time. Someone in that kitchen really understands Italian cooking. Sauces are outstanding; meats of good quality and properly prepared; and dreamy meatballs. It is noisy, which takes away from the culinary delights. Wine list is everyday -- a few interesting Italians, but other Andiamo outlets have better on their wine lists. We'll be back for sure."

  • "This was my first time. It was ok. The main entree was good but the salad was horrible. Just taste blah. And I was very disappointes that iI had to ask for bread that was like eating a brick. I guess I'm use to the all you can eat salads and breadsticks at the Garden. The service was good though. Very friendly and nice . I would go again but not for awhile."

  • "This appears to be a local favorite in an area that is hurting for good restaurants. People rave about their fried calamari, and with good reason. It's some of the most tender I've ever had. We also had their mushroom soup and seared tuna, both were very good. The service was personable and attentive. If you are in the area it's certainly worth a visit!"

We were disappointed and surprised that they had run out of one of their advertised specials by 6:30 Friday night. But overall, we had a good experience and everyone enjoyed their dinner. Have dined here before and would definitely come back."

  • "We had not been going to this Andiamo because the menu seemed dull and ordinary and the atmosphere dated. What a great surprise we had seeing the change in decor and menu. A great offering of Italian fare as well as fish and meat selections. The service was spot on and our meals delicious. We liked the fact that there is plenty of space between tables as opposed to the trend of packing parties in only inches from one and other. We will be going back frequently."

Chicken and Veal scallopini was ok, as were the deserts. 3X/4X retail wine pricing was a bit out of line for a casual restaurant. Service was attentive with some very nice touches of class."

The portions were generous. we all ended up taking food home with us. Very pleased with the whole experience. It had been many years since we were at the restaurant, this was our best experience.   • "The food and service was really nice. Everything was cooked as ordered. We had the Veal Marsala and Chopped Steak. The Italian Wedding Soup was tasty. The side salad was disappointing just bagged iceberg lettuce a couple of grape tomatoes slice in half. It would be nice to see the salad with some greens in it. The bread was very fresh. The chopped steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. The marsala was yummy too. We shared the tiramisu and calamari both were excellent. Our server Sidney was very attentive but not intrusive. Our food came out perfectly timed and our glasses were never empty. We will be back for sure!"

  • "Very glad Andiamo's is now in Clarkston, we needed an Italian offering. Seven of us had a fun family dinner and our server was superb. We were able to make a reservation and not put up with a long wait which is the norm at the other two downtown eateries. Wednesdays bottles of wine are 1/2 off and the white fish is wonderful. Also enjoyed Italian wedding soup, chopped salad, stuffed shells, shrimp scampi, and some speciality pasta dishes. We will be back, everything was delicious."
