  • "Andiamo's new Trattoria in Clarkson replaced long-standing staple, Mesquite Creek. We have dined twice at the Trattoria and have been very pleasantly surprised both time. Someone in that kitchen really understands Italian cooking. Sauces are outstanding; meats of good quality and properly prepared; and dreamy meatballs. It is noisy, which takes away from the culinary delights. Wine list is everyday -- a few interesting Italians, but other Andiamo outlets have better on their wine lists. We'll be back for sure."

  • "This was my first time. It was ok. The main entree was good but the salad was horrible. Just taste blah. And I was very disappointes that iI had to ask for bread that was like eating a brick. I guess I'm use to the all you can eat salads and breadsticks at the Garden. The service was good though. Very friendly and nice . I would go again but not for awhile."

  • "This appears to be a local favorite in an area that is hurting for good restaurants. People rave about their fried calamari, and with good reason. It's some of the most tender I've ever had. We also had their mushroom soup and seared tuna, both were very good. The service was personable and attentive. If you are in the area it's certainly worth a visit!"

  • "Great ambiance and comfortable seating. Food was very good. Our server was good but not the best. We had to ask for things like butter and oil for the bread and parmesan cheese. We were disappointed and surprised that they had run out of one of their advertised specials by 6:30 Friday night. But overall, we had a good experience and everyone enjoyed their dinner. Have dined here before and would definitely come back."

Made us feel like we were in an upscale Restaraunt. That's service - we were very impressed - more places need to have his overall attitude. He's a prize - do what you can to keep him."

  • "We had not been going to this Andiamo because the menu seemed dull and ordinary and the atmosphere dated. What a great surprise we had seeing the change in decor and menu. A great offering of Italian fare as well as fish and meat selections. The service was spot on and our meals delicious. We liked the fact that there is plenty of space between tables as opposed to the trend of packing parties in only inches from one and other. We will be going back frequently."

  • "Food was not on a par with the previous Mesquite Creek. Appetizer flat bread was just that - not too cheesy with a minimum of meat. Pasta was flavorless. Chicken and Veal scallopini was ok, as were the deserts. 3X/4X retail wine pricing was a bit out of line for a casual restaurant. Service was attentive with some very nice touches of class."

  • "I was glad we had made a reservation. It was very busy. The food was excellent, Ben was our server and he did a great job, regularly checking in with us. The portions were generous. we all ended up taking food home with us. Very pleased with the whole experience. It had been many years since we were at the restaurant, this was our best experience. I will definitely recommend to friends."

  • "The food and service was really nice. Everything was cooked as ordered. We had the Veal Marsala and Chopped Steak. The Italian Wedding Soup was tasty. The side salad was disappointing just bagged iceberg lettuce a couple of grape tomatoes slice in half. It would be nice to see the salad with some greens in it. The bread was very fresh. The chopped steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. The marsala was yummy too. We shared the tiramisu and calamari both were excellent. Our server Sidney was very attentive but not intrusive. Our food came out perfectly timed and our glasses were never empty. We will be back for sure!"

  • "Very glad Andiamo's is now in Clarkston, we needed an Italian offering. Seven of us had a fun family dinner and our server was superb. We were able to make a reservation and not put up with a long wait which is the norm at the other two downtown eateries. Wednesdays bottles of wine are 1/2 off and the white fish is wonderful. Also enjoyed Italian wedding soup, chopped salad, stuffed shells, shrimp scampi, and some speciality pasta dishes. We will be back, everything was delicious."

  • "Our waitress was very sweet and helpful with our drink choice and describing the different pasta sauce options. I had the soup of the day prior to my meal which was a creamy portabella mushroom soup. I really liked the flavor of this soup. My entree choice was linguine noodles with palmina sauce and meatballs added. The dish was very fresh tasting. Loved the subtle flavor of the sauce with the noodles."

  • "Now we are talking. on a strip long dominated by the Union and the Woodshop, Andiamo's is a welcome breath of fresh air. Two hour waits are often the norm at the two main street stalwarts because, in no small part the food is very good. their was also, up till now no, real alternative. Andiamo's has it all. from a Burger to a Ribeye, Pizza to Pasta.... great salads and appetizers all at a reasonable price.... not to mention, a BIG bar..... plus, you can make RESERVATIONS! do yourself a favor make reservations and go. you will not regret the decision."

Happy hour from 4-6...next time will be back for that to enjoy a nice glass of wine before the modestly priced pasta & salad. Breads brought to table were uniquely displayed! Compelling new menu. Amazing quiet dining experience given the bar/lounge was full w/entertainment."
