A word from Andiamo Ristorante
Andiamo Ristorante is a fine dining restaurant which offers authentic Italian cuisine. We are locally owned, and not affiliated with any chain restaurants. We are also the only authentic Italian restaurant in Austin, TX that has been recognized by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas Inc.

We feature the freshest ingredients from local farmers' markets, and offer a seasonal menu in a traditional European-styled course, designed to pair beautifully with our extensive selection of prestigious Italian wines.

We host Monthly Wine Dinner events on every Last Tuesday - a four-course dinner with wine pairings, and different menus every month.

  • "Great food and service. We were there for over three hours. No one rushed us and the food is always excellant!!"

  • "Love this place. Always great food and amiable, knowledgeable wait staff. Last night I dined alone, here, for the first time (my wife and I have been here a few dozen times over the years) and I had the absolutely best meal… vitello de rosmarino. It was sublimely tasty and accompanied by a delicate mashed potato along with a lightly sautéed green, red and yellow peppers. Truly one of the very best meals I have had in years. And, Joseph, my waiter was attuned to my need to savor the meal and available when I just wanted to chat… his service skills made a great dish even better. And their Italian wines by the glass are excellent, as is their cappuccino and dolce. Highly recommend this wonderful gem of a restaurant in Northwest Austin."

  • "Food was overpriced with no flavor. Not kid friendly."

  • "Andiamo is some of the best Italian food outside of Italy. Every time we go, we're impressed, and it is probably the only restaurant we've been to that seems to get it right every single time, every single detail. Plus, they have a vegetarian tasting menu, can make certain dishes vegan or gluten free, and have an excellent Italian wine list."

  • "After recommendations from friends, we very much enjoyed our first visit. Excellent dinner, well served, in a quiet and very pretty setting."

  • "Excellent food and service!!! The food is authentic Italian food that is hard to find."

  • "Do not judge this restaurant from the out side; it is in a shopping center and does not look like much, from the parking lot. The food is very good, I would consider it gourmet, the portions are small however, so not great for big appetites. It is costly though, the bill came to over $200.00 for four people! We will go back on special occasions only because of the cost."

  • "Food was perfectly prepared. Service was good and waiter very knowledgeable. We enjoyed food as well as wine. The pasta was cooked to perfection."

  • "Everything was made to order and fabulous. Special requests were accommodated with ease."

  • "Andiamo sustains its ability to satisfy. The menu has something for everyone. The food is fresh, imaginative and delicious. The Andiamo bread is worth mentioning - notable (house made/special recipe and memorable). The atmosphere is lovely, the prices are moderately set, and the servers are friendly and helpful. Andiamo is consistent and usually full, or nearly full. Enjoy!"

  • "Tucked away in a corner of a shopping center, you'd never know it was here - but once you find it, you'll return over and over. Great food, good service."

  • "Andiamo's has been a place for special occasions for my husband and I. We returned for our anniversary and were as pleased as always. Both our pastas are standards on the menu and we get them often because they are always good. Our waiter's knowledge of the wines helped us choose a good one, and we enjoyed the terrific service and the restaurant staff's friendliness and hospitality. It was a perfect romantic and satisfying Italian meal!"

  • "Our experience here was very good! We were greeted in a friendly manner and made to feel welcome. The service was helpful and very friendly. We were even treated to an anniversary dessert after a delicious meal. The portions were just right, not too overwhelming. We will definitely return to Andiamo's!"

  • "We dined here for our 18th wedding anniversary. We were offered our choice of seating in the main area or a room off to the back. We chose the latter. It was very quiet for our occasion and service was prompt. Our waiter seemed a little distracted, but the manager took time to talk to us and was very attentive. The fileto choice with the deglazed cherries was outstanding and the recommended wine paring was on point. My wife had the veal ravioli which was also delicious. After dinner the manager presented us with two flutes of prosecco which was delightful. Overall the experience was great and the food was excellent. Our only disappointment was the tiramisu which was a little too soggy which took away from the flavor of the dessert."

  • "We love to go to Andiamo because the meals are consistently well- prepared and the restaurant is quiet enough that you can actually have a dinner conversation. The service is attentive without being annoying. This is a real find for the location in a small Austin strip-mall."

  • "We reserved through Open Table and asked for a quiet spot to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. They has saved us a quiet table in the corner by a window that was perfect. The wait staff was prompt and knowledgeable. The food could not have been better. It was a wonderful evening. We definitely will go back."

  • "The experience here was outstanding. Service was excellent as was the atmosphere. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately as we had a reservation. I had the Pollo Saltimbocca while my wife had the Veggie Crepes. We shared our entrees and were very please with both. Thank you for a wonderful evening."

  • "The food and service were quite good. The bread for the table with the oil and cheese is very addictive. The only con may be the value for the price point."
    Dined on 5/21/2014
  • "I've been going here for several years. I believe it has new owners. It was an enjoyable experience, but the tiramisu was noticeably different and not very good. I wasn't ever sure you could mess up Tiramisu, but they did manage to do it. "

  • "I really don't have anything positive to say about this restaurant. I'll be brief: service was really bad, food was eh, and they use store bought pastry shells, food is overpriced for the quality. "

  • "This is a great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Once you get past that you are in a strip shopping center, the dining room is very nice and they have improved the ambiance over the years. But hey, why were we there? For the food of course and it did not disappoint. This is some of the most authentic Italian fine food in the city. The wine list is very good. If consistency is what you are looking for in a dining experience and that being consistently good is important, then Andiamo is to not be missed."

  • "A fairly large group of us went for Austin restaurant week. The food was wonderful, great wine. The waiter was a little challenged on a 9 person party plus his other tables. Fortunately all the issues affected only one of the party which made it amusing for the rest of us."
    Dined on 5/14/2014
  • "The place seemed understaffed, and during Restaurant Week, which you would think management would have planned better for. The waiter did his best, but he seemed to be handling the entire place by himself. We also had to wait a very long time between courses. "

  • "We love going to Andiamo's, the food is excellent. They cook very authentic Italian food."

  • "great food high quality, excellent list of wines . it' an authwntic and genuine italian restauran t actually, the best in austin"

  • "This place is too inconsistent. Some items very good, some not so good. For a wine and beer only restaurant to be out of beer when reservations were made, shows the lack of polish. Salads were laughably small but main dishes were plentiful. The deserts bad."

  • "Perfect amount of attention, great food and quiet venue. Highly recommend."

  • "Service was outstanding and presentation was excellent. Food is very good - a bit pricy but it does not take away from this excellent restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. "

  • "Andiamo's is the best! We love it. The food is not standard Italian fare... spaghetti, etc. It is gourmet dining at it's best. The atmosphere is delightful. "

  • "Andiamo Ristorante is a great place for a date night. It's an old-school family owned fancy restaurant. They have successfully captured every detail of the experience. My only complaint was that the waiter was too attentive. I have eaten there two other times though and the server was always perfect. I think our guy was new. He was very good, very skilled at his craft and could recite the menu in three languages, but a little excited. I have seen people in there for business and pleasure. Every thing I've tasted was delicious. I have recommended this restaurant to many others and because they've never heard of it they're skeptical, but their website has upgraded and is worthy of recommendation."

  • "1 appetizer, 2 salads, 2 entrees with a glass of wine for $160 with tip. If you have the extra money, it's worth a try. Also the strip center location won't impress anyone."

  • "There is nothing bad I can say about Andiamo. Every time I'e gone the experience has been amazing. The daily specials I've had are always a great choice to try. I love the photography displaying the different regions of Italy. Occasionally I've been there with live music quietly playing in the background. The chef's choice menu is a great experience if you have a couple of hours to linger and savor. Always friendly and helpful wait staff. Don't be deterred by its location and plain looking exterior- it's absolutely worth the trip."

  • "My husband and I had a great dinner (our second visit, and plan to go again). There are multiple vegetarian options and they are so flavorful that so far this is one of my favorite places to go. My carnivore husband even liked my dishes. It seemed a little pricier than the last time we went, but the quality of food was worth it. The restaurant was quiet enough to be able to have a conversation without having to talk loud, and I could hear without straining, so I would recommend it for a romantic evening out."

  • "Nice little place hidden away. Nice ambiance. Food was very fresh and authentic. However, authentic Italian is rather bland compared to American style. Would have liked it to be a bit more flavorful with spices. Overall very good and great place for a romantic dinner. Bit pricy so would recommend for special occasions."

  • "We chose the chef's 5 course dinner special. And it was truly special. It was delicious from start to finish. The wait staff was quiet and efficient. We had a very nice evening celebrating being together."

  • "Good food, not crowded, not downtown. Nothing about this place is a hassle, and they don't sacrifice on quality either. I hadn't been in years and if anything it's better now than the last time I went. Appetizers are a little bit "typical Italian restaurant" but the entrees and specials are excellent. I ordered the pancetta wrapped shrimp and was very happy."

  • "Went to Andiamo for the first time and was it wonderful! Every dish we had was authentic, wonderfully presented and tasted so good. We had the scallop appetizer that melted in your mouth, homemade mushroom ravioli, and the crab stuffed shrimp that was out of this world! To top it off, the homemade bread they serve was to die for. Extensive wine list included great prices for wine. We will definitely return for another food trip to Italy."
