We went on a Thursday night. We had a very pleasant server and wonderful food. The salad with house dressing was very good. Loved Nona's Lasagna. The Tuxedo dessert was outstanding. Our only concern was that the place was practically empty. They apparently had tried changing the atmosphere to more of a bistro for 9 months and it didn't go over well. I'm afraid they've lost their customer base because of that. The warm atmosphere is gone, they have some tvs up, the carpeting is gone, tables are without tablecloths and the menu is much shorter. Saving grace is they still have some of the menu favorites from before and they're still very good. I really hope they change back to the old atmosphere and get their customers back!

I made a reservation for Andiamos a few weeks prior to my wife's birthday. We were going to do dinner and then see the show in the Andiamo show room. Unfortunately, I got a call the night before our dinner to tell us that we would be sitting in the bar or on the patio as there was an event in the main dining room the same night as our dinner. While the bar area wasn't too bad, it soon got pretty uncomfortable as people started coming in for the show. I felt very much like I was on display. I also felt very rushed -- which needn't be the case as we found that the show started a half hour late. I probably won't be rushing back to Andiamo any time soon.

I took my husband here for Father's Day dinner. It was his first time but definitely wont be his last! The food was great, the server was really nice, and the drinks from the bar that we ordered were worth the money, not too strong but not too weak. The food was piping hot when it came to the table, the bread was fresh and warm and we were served water without having to ask for it - not many restaurants do that any more. Overall, our experience was great and we will definitely return for our 'date night' one night. :-)

My friends and I were looking for an elegant restaurant with fair prices. This was a perfect fit seeing as the decor could fit both a casual and formal dining, and the menu had options for every budget. The food was very good with a variety of interesting options. Our service was incredible and definitely completed the experience.

Expecting the ambience and experience of a fine dining Italian restaurant, this is not the place. The menu is very Americanized middle-of-the-road limited selections. Kind of like an "Applebee's "of Italian restaurants, right down to the "top 10" music playing in the background versus a soothing selection of Italian melodies, Martian, Sinatra, etc...

Have eaten here a number of times. Loved the duo signing in the bar. The food, ok. My lasagna was ok, but a little burned on the side from the pan. I would expect a little more from this place. Service was prompt and very efficient and the atmosphere is great. They just need to turn up the food a notch.

We enjoyed a celebratory dinner at Andiamos in Novi. The food was excellent and the wait staff was beyond reproach. We were able to enjoy conversation across the table UNTIL the band started. Though the singer was fine, the band was so loud we had to struggle to hear each other talk. They started playing early, at 6:30 or 7. Unfortunately, that put a damper on the whole dinner, since we were not there to listen to a band.

Went to Joe and Aldo's for my husbands birthday, Valentines Day. My husband, our 2 teenage children & myself. Having dined here when it was Andiamo, I realized that the menu was different. But, I was hoping that the quality level would be the same, It was not. Our waiter was nice, the food was no where near as good. The only thing that actually was Andiamo quality was our salads. My son had Penni/Alfredo that was not bad, I had the stuffed shells. The cheese to pasta ratio was overpowering. My daughter had bowtie pasta with Palamina sauce, same sauce as my shells. We were expecting a smooth cream tomato sauce, actually it was lumpy with big pieces of herbs. My husband ordered a salmon dish, the salmon was cold in the center. Disappointed

My wife and I enjoyed Valentine's dinner here. Her beef medallions were cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed the lasagna. Obviously there were many couples there, however, there were also families with kids, which was not a problem. Menu options for all. The server recommended a good red wine for my wife, which she enjoyed, and also introduced me to a couple of new craft beers. A nice evening!

We were greeted immediately by the hostess and wait staff, drink orders taken, appetizers, everything was great as far as service was concerned. The music was amazing, very talented artists, we enjoyed listening to them. The menu needs work. With todays lifestyles and eating, the menu was weak. We almost left and went to Carraba's where the menu offers more variety. The food was OK, nothing special. For the prices I would expect fantastic.

We loved the atmosphere and the service was outstanding. Our server recommended an excellent wine and the manager made sure to stop by to see if we needed anything. The fresh bread and salads were delicious as was my wine. I don't normally complain,if fact I never mentioned to the waiter but since I got this email and decided to reply I must tell you that my whitefish was EXTREMELY salty. I had a birthday dinner last year at Andiamos and ordered the whitefish which was spectacular. I'm sorry to say that it was not as tasty this time around. Everything else was A++

Joe & Aldo's used to be Andiamo's Novi. Liked it better when it was. They have obviously aimed at more family-friendly dining. Big-screen TV's throughout the restaurant (yuck!), and a slightly less expensive menu overall (yay!). But the dining area is not especially appealing to couples anymore. Since we don't have kids this will not be our first choice for a romantic evening, unless we sit in the bar area.

The menu was very limited, figured it would have more of the Italian flair type items like Chicken Marsala or Chicken Piccata and they did not, our water glasses were almost empty before the waiter decided to come by to refill the glasses, my food was not hot when I received it and had to send it back, and the flavor was very blah. The salmon was suppose to be char broiled and it didn't even look like it was even on the grill at all. When I asked the waiter if I could have the salmon without the "stuff" on top of it he said that because it was New Years Eve that they couldn't accomodate my request. I will never return to this restaurant. Not a very good New Years Eve dinner.

My parents are Asian, and my husband is Caucasian with 1/4 Italian in the family. So finding a place we can all eat on a special occasion can be tough. My parents want fresh seafood (like my Mom at the grocery makes the fish stand guy go to the back to get fish because nothing is fresh enough), and my husbands parents are more traditional (his Dad is the true Italian, have to have a good sauce for him to like it). Amazingly, everyone is happy here. We've been there twice now, and my parents love the salads and fish entrees. The kids actually eat (they say the pasta is extra good there). It's a bit pricey for everyday eating for us, but I'm sure we'll be there several times a year for birthdays or special dinners.

This place was great at accommodating 14 people for a family holiday dinner and our waitress was the best. However, after getting past delicious appetizers (calamari and fried artichokes) soup (Italian wedding) and salads, the entrees were disappointing, coming from the kitchen less than hot, overcooked pork medallion special, and not as flavorful as they could have been. Seemed like they ran out of garlic and Italian spices in the kitchen.
