She chose the caesar The waitress brought her salad, then my friend ordered a carry out dinner. Same questions were asked. My friend chose the caesar salad again, the waitress replies that will be an extra $4. We were puzzled after she left wondering if the caesar salad she was eating was an extra $4 as well. Sure enough, when the bill came she was charged extra for the caesar salad that she was never told about until she was eating it. And I'm sorry, but no caesar salad is worth an extra $4! Question your wait staff when ordering!"

  • "I travel and eat out quite often. I must say that this restaurant was absolutely superb... I have the diver Georges Bank Scallops they were incredible. I also had the 8oz filet, with peppercorns and melted gorgonzola. I actually asked the waiter if these could be split the orders as there were two of us in the kitchen, and much to my surprise he said no problem... Wow, usually it is a big production and hemming and hawing by the restaurant not here at Andiamo.... Andiamo nailed my dinner tonight... Thank you..."

Attentive, but not suffocating. We ordered the prime veal chop and it was outstanding. Cooked to perfection. I'm don't normally order veal, but that was amazing. Overall, great food and dining experience, but I'd like to know when Andiamo's will get on board with the BYO wine law that passed earlier this year. As much as I'd love to pay 3x the price of a wine, I'd be happier to pay a corkage fee and bring my own. I don't each out much, but from here on out, I'll only patronize those businesses that allow me to bring in my own wine."

  • "I went here with some coworkers after a long day. The atmosphere was nice, although perhaps the smooth jazz was a tad too loud. We sat next to the fireplace and were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable waiter. We had the beef tips and calamari as an appetizer and it was delicious, especially the beef. For dinner, I had lobster risotto, which was very good. They also seemed to have an extensive wine list even though I did not drink."

Spacious seating, not cramped like so many restaurants. Something in ambience is missing but definitely a 4 star! Very clean and comfortable, possibly just that it is a little dated in decor, I can't put my finger on it. We will choose this over most other restaurants for sure as the variety is more than just Italian pastas. Desserts were too beautiful to pass up, totally yummy! A good value also. When we got there on the weekend, the service and side dishes were sub-standard. My rosotto was the star of the dinner. Really wonderful. My scallops were buttery and tender -- very good. My wife's whitefish was soft and moist. The side dishes lagged. Skip the so-called truffle potatoes because it doesn't taste like truffle. The other veggies were under seasoned. The service was not sufficient for this price point. I did not like waiting so long for my coffee and tea."
