  • "Saturday's here often offer dinner music, although I was put-off by the volume of the music. They played very loudly a selection of "soft rock" from the '70s and had a few "creatively arranged" numbers for which I did not much care. I enjoyed a "Moscow Mule" poured with Tito's Handmade Vodka. As for the meal, the Veal Marsala was tender with a very flavorful demi-glace, a nice al-dente cous-cous, and a mixed vegetable selection I happily finished. Unfortunately, the Fleur-de-Mar was not best prepared "scampi-style" as my guest did not want a wine sauce. The returned seafood dish was graciously accepted, the Chicken Picatta in its stead was well received. The busboy neglected to include the picatta sauce in the doggy-bag - disappointing."

  • "Having just moved to Michigan from Illinois this was our first and last time at Andiamo's. The resturant was recommended by one of the members of our party who had been at another location. Service started fine but went way downhill. I ordered asparagus in place of the house vegetables. My plate arrived w/o it. It was only when I asked was I advised they had run out of asparagus. Worst yet my Bone in 20oz rib steak was overcooked. I cut a quarter of the way in before I started looking for my waitress. The manager HAD to PROVE at point and come to my table with the steak cut open in the center to show me that the steak was med rare. I then got a perfect steak. We never saw the waitress again. We had to ask for our bill."

  • "Three of us had a reservation for Father's Day. It was for 7pm and we didn't get seated until nearly 7:30pm. I know it was busy because of the holiday. Plus, they were running a Father's Day special where you get $20 off your total tab. We were seated at a hightop, which I didn't really care for, but since we had been waiting, we were grateful for the table! They had a Szarerac on the drink menu, which my husband appreciated! I din't like my pineapple margarita....watery and not worth it. The food was excellent, as was the service. They have calorie counts on the menu for the 'healthy' items, which is helpful! My advice: don't go to this restaurant on a holiday. It's nicer other times!"

  • "Best filet we ever tasted! Service was very good. Restaurant was very crowded but noise level was low. Very satisfied! We were there with our good friend who was visiting us. He's a triple amputee Iraq war veteran. When we were finished eating, our waiter told us that our bill was taken care of. We don't know who paid our bill, but it made our friend very happy. I try to do the same. It is a very touching gesture and means a lot to those who have sacrificed so much."

We had to ask multiple times for cheese and pepper. Soup, even ordered scalding, was lukewarm. The server seemed overwhelmed. The manager disappeared after initially addressing our concerns."

  • "We had a reservation for 4 for dinner. We were seated at a table near the entrance to the dining room and asked to be moved. We were told that the 2 empty tables were reserved for parties already. The one table was filled about 10 minutes later and the second table was empty until another party of 4 didn't like their table and moved there. I have great hearing, but it was soooo loud that I couldn't hear the other people at my table. The accoustics are very bad there, and I guess you have to ask for a table by a wall to be able to hear."

  • "This is our second visit in one month. Dinners at 7:30 pm. On both occasions, we were seated near tables with children. Both times too much noise. The last time was awful - two shrieking children ( 2-3 years of age ) whose parents could not control them. We complained to the wait staff who made no effort to do anything about it. What are these babies doing at Andiamo's? We recommend you exclude children under 7 from coming into the restaurant. It you want families with little kids - be a Denny's."

  • "I thoroughly enjoy Andiamo's in Bloomfield Hills, but was a little disappointed during this last visit. The food was fine and the server was nivce, however we had a reservation for 6 at 11:30 and it was over an hour and half before we received our main course. We were out for a group lunch and were restricted with our time. Everyone at the table kept asking did someone order something special because it was taking so long for the food to get to our table. The restaurant was not that busy on a Tuesday, so I'm unsure what the issue was"

  • "We were looking forward to a return visit. The place has been totally remodeled, and the menu is much smaller than before. The wine list is good, the tempranillo I had was excellent, but the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, which I had great memories of, now off the menu, which the waitress said they still had. The slices were extremely thin, rectangular !!, over breaded, and the entire dish was disappointing. Salads were tiny and tasteless. Very noisy."

  • "We had a 5:00 p.m. reservation for dinner for four on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was just starting to fill. Our waitress was very attentive from the first greeting to presenting the bill at the end. The food was very good and artistically presented. The servings were abundant. We thought we would pass on dessert, but when they were presented we had to try the cheesecake and the carrot cake. Yum! However, near the end of our dinner time, the restaurant filled up with diners and the live music for the evening began to play, so the noise level grew to where it would have been difficult to carry on a conversation without shouting across the table. Go early or not when there's live music."

  • "Right when we walked in, we were greeted with a big “Hello”! We made reservations a few nights prior, and were seated immediately after we arrived. Our waitress Logan was upbeat, smiling the whole time, and enjoyable, but remained completely professional and on point with everything. The atmosphere was wonderful and I really enjoyed the music, it was at the night noise level where you could carry on conversation and still take in everything that was going on. Also, the candlelight and dimming of the overhead lights was very romantic. The food was good, I wasn’t blown out of the water impressed but I was not disappointed. Overall, I would recommend everyone dine there at the very least once and judge for yourself."
