  • "You can count on Andiamo for a solid dinner with pleasant service anytime. The crispy duck leg is always a winner. My chicken livers were surprisingly good. Service is friendly and easy going. Only problem is that the relatively small space squeezes in a lot of tables. But count on the restaurant as a nice place to go."

  • "This restaurant has been a long time local favorite and I am really happy to see the new interiors! The remodel makes a huge difference and Andiamo offers a pleasant, comfortable dining experience. The food is delicious. I loved my chicken parmesan and we shared delicious fried calamari to start. My husband had the fish special which was trout and is was very fresh and the vegetables fresh and excellently prepared. I also really appreciate that my entree came in a small or large size as do the wine pours. I wish every restaurant did this."

  • "I have dined a Andiamo , with family and friends, numerous times over the past few years. The consistently excellent food, service and ambiance was, on this occasion, spoiled by the actions of a callous, uncaring server. He--a balding gentleman--(inadvertently) clipped my 96 year old mother on the nose with a plate he removed from the table. He neither apologized nor acknowledged the occurrence. We did, however, hear him comment to a co-worker: don't worry, she'll get over it. Not such a good experience this time around."

  • "We didn't eat here because no one seemed interested in taking our order. After waiting for 30 minutes, we asked the water server to send our waiter over to take our order. He told the hostess who seemed unconcerned. After another couple who had arrived 10 minutes after us was waited on, we left the restaurant. We went to Il Piatto instead where the service and food were excellent. Our advice is to skip Andiamo and go to Il Piatto instead."

  • "This is one of those rare restaurants where the background music (in our case, Pavarotti singing Italian (what else?) opera very quietly in the background) allow the diners to talk comfortably. The food was excellent, the service charming and attentive without being too. I'd recommend it to a friend. Dinner for two with wine, soup and entree was $91. A bargain!"

  • "This was our second visit to Andiamo. Both times the food was very good. I love the Caesar salad. Many of their pasta entrees come in small or regular sizes. I ordered a small entree of the spaghetti with shrimp and arugula. The pasta was cooked a ldente and the portion was perfect. Service was not as attentive as it could have been. We will return when we have a desire for Italian cuisine."

The service was prompt and friendly. The food was terrific. My wife had the lamb and I had the seafood linguini. Unfortunately, we were unable to leave room for dessert. We saw others eating dessert and it looked terrific. We will be back when we return to Santa Fe."

  • "I went there on a first date. Andiamo helped me make a good impression on the women I was with. we shared a roasted beet salad and had the fish special for the night which was salmon. The salmon was grilled and came with saffron risotto fritter, baby vegetables, and white wine butter broth. All of the food was excellent. The bread was fabulous too. We were talking so it took us awhile to order, but when we were ready our waiter was available. We only drank water and iced tea. Our glasses were were refilled promptly. All of the staff friendly and helpful."

Located in a comfortable setting close to the rail yard, the newly remodeled interior tastefully combines a black & white motif with artistic renderings on the white walls. We received a warm greeting when we arrived but somewhat slow seating. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant's wine list provides a nice assortment of reds & whites. We chose a bottle of Coltibuono, the restaurant's classic Chianti from Sienna to complement our meal which consisted of a delicious Prosciutto, cheese & endive antipasto; my favorite dish: chicken parmigiana featuring organic chicken, side of pasta, and rich tomato sauce; and pots d' creme. Kudos to the owner, chef, and staff! "

  • "We've been eating at Andiamo for years. It's cozy and captures the feeling of a true italian trattoria. A great special occasion place-when you want to pull out all the stops, but without pretensions. Also can drop in for a delicious appetizer and glass of wine, or a main course plate for a reasonable price, or a fabulous desert and espresso. Don't miss the grilled polenta with gorgonzola sauce appetizer. Love the salmon with saffron risotto fritter and baby veggies in wine and bitter sauce. Haven't had a pasta dish I don't like! And the chocolate pot d'creme- what a finish! The only reason we gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it is sometimes inconsistent. Service may be off or indifferent. Food is sometimes not quite up to par. "

  • "The decor is improved from the last time we visited, brighter with a more open feel. In addition to an attentive server, other employees of the restaurant were also available to help us. Our server was knowledgeable but not pretentious. Food choices include gluten free options. The penne with lamb sausage was delicious and not overpriced. We plan to return."
