Andalucia Tapas Restaurant & BarGood food and musicThe food was served hot and was well prepared, the wine selection was very good, all at the sound of a very competent group that played Spanish tunes. We got a patient reception by the house staff even though we got lost on our way in and arrived 30 min late.
Our table location was not exactly great, but that may be the price for being late.
All in all, a great Saturday dining experience at a reasonable pricing, worth the drive to downtown.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWe greatly enjoyed the SangriaWe greatly enjoyed the Sangria and the selection of tappas. The beef empanadas were delicious. The service was prompt, friendly and very helpful in deciphering the many selections. We will definitely return6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice tapas restaurantTapas were excellent. Overall a bit pricey for what you get. The Flamenco entertainement was also top notch.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner Before the ShowWent to Andalucia before attending the show in the theater district. Service and food were great. Have always had a good experience at this restaurant. I recommend.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellentI took a friend that wanted to eat paella and he just love the place. We had multiple tapas (the only one that didnt impress me was the cheese balls, not a huge fan of cream cheese) and wr enioyed them very much.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGood experienceOne of my favorite places. The food is always good whether it's the lunch menu or for dinner. The best tapas in town. Friday and Saturday night entertainment by Solero Flamenco is a bonus. I cannot get enough of them.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing food and entertainment! We've been to this restaurant twice now and we will be going here regularly. Loud restaurant little hard to find, slow service when it's busy. The food is worth the wait.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst, but not last, visitWe brought our Spanish exchange student here for a taste of her homeland. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, & atmosphere. We'll certainly be back!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is our second time here. This is our second time here. The first time there were not many people and we had great food and service. This time we went back later because we wanted to see the show. We were not disappointed. Though the place was more than packed, service was still great and the food the same. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. The show on Friday and Saturday nights is really good too. Would definitely suggest this place to any one I know.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMProtect your eardrumsFood was great. Atmosphere quite lively. While I enjoyed the live singing and dancing, it was too loud. They don't really need the microphones that was used.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was a really fun restaurantThis was a really fun restaurant with very good Tapas. The service was excellent and the Flamenco dancers and musicians were very fun. The atmosphere was loud and enthusiastic. We enjoyed it, but I would not recommend for a quiet dinner.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent place. My wife isExcellent place. My wife is from Spain and we have been trying every Spanish restaurant in Houston over the last couple years. So far this is the best one and most authentic. We loved the food. The entertainment was also very nice. Service was great as well.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome !!The food an reservated table were perfect. Couldn't ask for more. I love Andalucias!!!!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMSpent several years in SpainSpent several years in Spain and love tapas. This place gets them right. Close to House of Blues and Toyota Center. Great place for dinner before events.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMOur first visit was excellent! My wife and I had gone to the restaurant for the first time to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. The tapas were excellent, the main courses were great, and the service was outstanding. I didn't expect the service to be as quick as it was; I expected it to be laid back just like in Spain, but we had more than just our waitress touch our table. My wife and I had a very great time and will visit again.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOrder the beef empanadas!!My girlfriend and I had a great time @ Andalucia. The Flamingo dancers and musicians were top notch! We both loved the beef empanadas and the creme brulee was one of the best we've ever had. It was a great evening!!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMMy fiance and I made reservationsMy fiance and I made reservations for lunch since I wasn't sure how busy the restaurant would get. It was dead when we walked in at 11:45 but shortly after filled up with large groups of people from a near by convention. They put us by the serving station, so it was a little distracting but the food was fantastic! I ordered a pasta dish with mushrooms and tomatoes, and my fiance ordered a beef wrap. We were both very impressed with the dishes, in both size and presentation.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMA little trip to Southern SpainWent to the Prado exhibition at the MFAH and decided to continue the Spanish theme by going for some Tapas. Andalucia is downtown. If there are events taking place in any of the sports venues - "event parking" can be an issue - but most of the restaurants have $10 or $12 valet parking - and if you park in the garage at the shopping center in the Houston Center - it is $5. The food was good, they have a huge selection of maybe 35 or more dishes. They also have some North African dishes that are entree size. On Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. they hav a Flamingo group - that sings, dances and plays guitar/drums on a small stage. They put on a pretty nice "free" show- and if you like flamingo - it is fun.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMMy second visit to Andalucia..IMy second visit to Andalucia..I love it! Every menu item I have tried has been wonderful. I particularly enjoy the Flamenco group that plays on the weekends. I have attended two birthday parties at the restaurant and the staff knows how to treat their guests.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing find in a mallThe food was amazing, and the unexpected treat of a Flamenco show was incredible. Hang around and pace out your tapas in order to get the full experience. Waiter was great, made the evening even better. Highly recommended.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMA must go to!!!Pick this place because we were going to House of Blues later and wanted something a lil different. So glad we went here! Everything was amazing! The server, Angie, explained everything to my friend who had never had tapas before and made some great selections. The frozen sangria is a.h.mazing!! I have no complaints about this place and have told everyone about it.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMTapas with a FlairI visited this restaurant around 930pm on a Tuesday evening so it was pretty quiet. The kitchen closes at 10 and they were very prompt to inform me. I had a salad and an octopus appetizer and both were very tasty and flavorful. They have a nice array of wines by the glass and the Rioja I had was delicious. Based on the flavors I enjoyed, this is not a typical Tex-Mex place (they didn't have guacamole), but offers small tapas servings of some very creative dishes. I will return on my next visit.1/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
