Just what you want from a seafood restaurant, everything was very fresh and delicious.
The fresh oysters were wonderful, as were all the appetizers and the entrees. I wish they had a more extensive dessert menu. We brought wine, so I didn't take a look at the wine list. I did notice they don't do hard alcohol, which is too bad. They have a great bar space, it'd be nice to have a cocktail before dinner.

Husband's favourite was the Bollywood mussels and house made fries. His favourite dishe with curry sauce. He hardly spoke the whole time, just ate. Grilled Portuguese sardines. Nicely seasoned had with the mixed green salad with English peas. Service was friendly and attentive. All in all. Love this place. Would recommend reserving if going at weekend, do walk ins. Serve at bar if prefer. As we both love sea food this place is now on our favourite list.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my second time visitingThis was my second time visiting Anchor & Hope and I was again very well satisfied. The food is beautifully and simply prepared. There is a clean and simple presentation of every dish. The menu is a bit sparse, but the four main courses I've tasted on my two visits were consistently tasty and enjoyable. The ambiance was energetic for a Thursday night with lots of groups as well as couples.A great place to come after work or for a special meeting place.We ate all the appetizers and split them between the 5 of us in our party. The oysters were superb as well as the mussels. Our waitress was fun and helpful all night. But the food was great and the restauant was jumping with all the "romantic couples". The decor is certainly spartan but set to look like an old warehouse.
