My husband and I have eaten here
several times and have never had a bad meal. Their lamb kebabs are delicious and tender. The fish of the day is always a good choice. They have reasonably priced wines. We especially like the fact that the atmosphere is quiet, which is unusual for most restaurants. The service is also friendly and professional. Be sure to try the turkish feta. It is a less salty and creamier version than greek. You can also buy it in a can from the restaurant."

Consistently excellent food every
time I go here. Must try the kanafe...delicious!"

I've been wanting to try Anatolia
for a while, being the foodie I am and I was not disappointed. We started out with the appetizer sampler, which included the hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and feta fried in filo dough with a rose dipping sauce. The only thing I didn't really care for were the stuffed grape leaves--they were a bit different than I'm used to (traditional dolmades) but they were the Turkish version and I appreciated trying them. I had the eggplant stuffed with lamb, which was great. I'm not a huge lamb fan because sometimes it's a little too gamey for me, but it was excellent. My husband had the tilapia which he enjoyed. The portions were large, and I wish I had some our food wrapped up--we were too full to have dessert"

The food was Classic Turkish. The
waiter was outstanding. He took the time to explain the food and educated us a lot about the food culture in Turkey"

Our server was a lovely, kind
person, though at times seemed a little busy. She was very helpful and helped us identify the best choices for our group, despite some dietary restrictions."

We really had a great time at
Anatolia. It was recommended by friends and we were very pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was very good and slightly formal. Food was excellent (and a great value) and we had a delightful waiter (Greg) who gave us special attention and did not try to hurry us through our meal. Ethnic food is not too common in Nashville so never know what to expect when trying a new place, but this was certainly a gem. Will definitely go back."

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner
at Anatolia. Our table was ready promptly, our waitress, Nisha, was pleasant, courteous, and served us promptly. The food was tasty and attractively presented. Altogether is was a very good experience."

We were really looking forward to
eating at this Turkish restaurant and we were not disappointed. Authentic cuisine (we had all been to Turkey in past) and the service was great."

Love the Turkish veggie dishes.
The food is different, moderately priced, healthful comfort food."

We ordered the special dessert
first (before our lunch) which takes 15 minutes to prepare. It arrived after 1.5 hours. It took them 45 mins. to bring some of us the salads-nothing interesting about them. The "Turkish" food did not have the spices and herbs that I have had before. I don't know what happened as in a previous visit two years ago, it was very nice. I ordered the tilapia. After 50 minutes of waiting, the server said they did not have it. So I ordered trout. Very, very bland. I also sampled the chicken stuffed with spinach. Very bland. The best parts of this meal: sometimes there was warm bread. The server did not charge us for the dessert. There is nothing at all to draw us back (group of 6)."

Whenever I want to have a quiet,
relaxed conversation with a friend I always choose Anatolia. I love every way they prepare their lamb dishes and the rice pudding is perfect little finisher. The wait staff is the best I know. The last visit was on the day after Christmas and the pack was absolutely packed but even then I could still chat with my friend and hear everything they said. Great for lunch but even better for dinner."

Food is outstanding! Chicken stew
is wonderful as are the lamb chops."

Nashville. Love it for dinner and fabulous brunch."

Enjoyed our dinner at this cozy
Dined on 11/22/2013
Food was of good quality but
everything was way overcooked (kabobs, sea bass, etc). Shame as it was seasoned well also. Very good Hummus and good service"

If you want a genuine Middle
Eastern food experience, I highly recommend this neighborhood gem. The ezme must be sampled; it's is an incredibly unique appetizer featuring crushed bell pepper, tomatoes, etc. Anatolia probably does lamb the best of all their dishes, and all of the stews have been simmered for hours; perfect for a cold winter evening. The Turkish red wine goes perfectly with most dishes and is made with four uniquely different grapes providing the wine lover with a unique wine experience. Prices have steadily increased with popularity, but portions are very ample so don't resist asking for a doggie bag."

We live in the neighborhood and
dine here often. I appreciate the friendly service, and love the lamb chops. you must go on a Sunday or Thursday for the turkish pizza."

I was stationed in Turkey in the
military and I know good Turkish food. I have been eating here for years. The service is great. The food is great. There are vegetarian items available. Highly recommend."

Family owned establishment and the
owners take pride in their offerings and service. Wait staff was very good. Food was just like mom would cook if I was Turkish."
Dined on 9/15/2013
Good vegitarian and non-veg
choices. We all thought the food (appetizers and entres) , service and noise level were great. Prices were reasonible. The 5 of us were able to talk at normal noise levels. It was our first visit and we will return."
Dined on 9/12/2013
Anatolia is a great place for
high-quality and flavorful food. Varied menu, including meat, seafood, and vegetarian options."
Dined on 9/8/2013
We decided to try Anatolia because
it's near where we live and we saw the positive reviews. Anatolia lived up to the reviews. The Turkish wine was excellent. For an appetizer we tried the Sampler Platter. It was very good. My wife had the sea bass entree and I had the mixed grill in order to get a broad idea of their food. The mixed grill would have been enough for both of us! And both entrees were very good. I had to try the Turkish coffee with dessert. It was too thick for my taste, but, the Kunefe was great. We'll be back there often."
Dined on 9/7/2013
My wife and I went for an early
supper. We had delicious lamb kabobs that you could cut with a fork. Anatolia has sour cherry juice that my wife always orders. The service was friendly and prompt. I would eat at Anatolia's more often if they would move to Hendersonville."

As always, Anatolia was wonderful.
We had a large group, and the restaurant was terrific at accommodating us and seeing to all our needs."
Dined on 6/10/2013
I was running late for my diviner
appointment with a friend, and the waiter made her feel at ease and me too when I arrived. I was upset to be late, but my companion was feeling fine and the waiter was so calm and pleasant and efficient that I settled down and had a delightfully seasoned Tilapia filet."
Dined on 5/31/2013
Anatolia is a great find! Robust
Turkish cooking, helpful and friendly service, and very reasonable pricing. The Turkish wines are a great addition to the meal. I have been here twice and the experience was even better this time. Order the roasted lamb in the baby eggplant. Delicious! And don't forget the baklava :) It's worth the trip alone."
Dined on 5/25/2013
If you like Mediterranean food
this place is a gem. The food is fresh and well cooked. The desert was devine. Cost was modest, more than fair for the quality."
Dined on 5/18/2013
We celebrated Mother's Day here
and had wonderful service and food. Would highly recommend that Nashvillians try this hidden gem. Turkish sausage is great, and the Quince dessert is delightful and includes cinnamon, pistachio and homemade whipped cream. Our server was very kind and attentive, and the ambience of the restaurant inspires you to learn more about Turkey and want to visit."
Dined on 5/12/2013
The staff are friendly and eager
to serve. Food is exquisite."
Dined on 5/12/2013
We have eaten here many times. The
food is always very fresh and they try to accommodate dietary needs such as i have which is a need for a low sodium option. I usually get one of the fish specials which is always served with a fresh tomatoe and garlic sauté along with rice. Their salads are always crisp and fresh. I also recommend their shrimp sauté which has large shrimp and sautéed vegetables . My husband enjoys their gyro meat and often asks them to serve it over a large Greek salad with yogurt cucumber sauce. The baclava and rice pudding are their best desserts. My one complaint is that the tea is sweetened and they do not serve warm tea which is not sweet!"
Dined on 4/22/2013
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner
selections of lamb chops and an earthy eggplant dish stuffed with lamb. The staff was incredibly friendly and gracious with our out of town guests from Brazil, Canada, and Mexico- all of which enjoyed their first experience with Turkish food."
Dined on 4/19/2013
They accept casual or dressy with
ease. It has the feel of a neighborhood restaurant with the class of quasi fine dining."
