A word from Anatolia Mediterranean Cuisine - Boca Raton
This attractive, elegant Turkish restaurant with courtyard seating near Mizner Park in Boca Raton has become wildly popular thanks to the warm, elegant, and cozy atmosphere.

The Turkish food is nothing less than exotic and the service is wonderful. Dishes such as Pide, Turkish flatbread pizzas topped with minced lamb and feta are enticing, as well as grilled dorade and bronzini served on a bed of tomato-infused bulgur. For a taste of Mediterranean excellence, you’ll find what you're looking for right here at Anatolia.

for a foodie as myself ,what a great place to satisfy my cravings for excellent and authentic Turkish food. Good and prompt service what to say about the food other than delicious. Homemade bread warm and soft and the dip I can taste the freshness of the tomatoes and red peppers.i started with the izgara kalamar with the pomegranate dressing (also I ask for the garlic yogurt sauce just because I love it)I WAS IMPRESSED then I ask for adana kebab and the iskender kebab. DOUBLE IMPRESSED.i finish off with the sutlac(rice pudding) and the kazandibi (a caramelized rolled custard) and of course I had some Turkish coffee.i cant wait to go again!!!

  • Go for the Grilled Octopus!

    Dined on 8/7/2013
The grilled octopus was the best I have had--even in Spain! the service was friendly, but we were not offered a taste of the bottle of wine before it was poured. Also, the feta appetizer sounded better than it was. It is more like a feta taquito with phylo instead of a tortilla and fried. No sauce to dip. It was also a bit too much. Would have been better with half the size and a few dipping sauces to taste. Disappointing when you only order 4 appetizer to have one be a flop. That said. The octopus literally made up for all the down sides!

This is AUTHENTIC Turkish food. The Turkish "pizza / flatbread" is outstanding, & different from what you might expect. The grilled Octopus is tender & delicious (wonderful seasoning too). The ground-meat kebabs are authentic (but what they call "spicy" is really mild -- you need to ask for the hot sauce, which is REALLY hot). The eggplant pureed with Turkish cheese is really really good (& filling & fattening). Problem: the wait staff assumes their clients know nothing about Turkish food, & therefore mislead -- e.g., they say "brown rice" when they mean Bulghur because they assume that their clientele won't know what Bulghur is. & busboys are way overeager to clear bread plates before main courses arrive. Go for the food and enjoy.

This was not my first time here, and frankly not my best. BUT as always the service was great, the staff marvelous to deal with. may have been our choices from the extensive menu, but the food was a little off.. The puree eggplant was very bland, and the cucumber salad unusually made with a great lemon dressing was oily. BUT THE STEW was outstanding. I'll be back again, it's a place I love to go to and every place has an off night.

When it first opened Anatolia served excellent Turkish-Middle Eastern food. It's policy of BYOB also made it a surprisingly affordable option in downtown Boca. Our last visit was a disappointment. Portions were skimpy and the food bland. They now have a wine list (noting special even our server admitted) which means you can still BYOB but must pay a corkage fee ($10 per bottle.) I'd skip it.

We returned to Anatolia after many months. We had a wonderful evening. Our server was good and the food was delicious. The only hitch in our experience was that we were kept waiting a very long time for our meal. Finally our server came over to tell us that the gyro machine was broken and they had been trying to fix it for the last 20 minutes. He asked our friend to choose another entree. We wondered why he had not done this many minutes ago. As we were in no hurry and did no mind having longer to visit, we were fine.

My wife and I are regulars here. We always bring other couples with us and we know that they then return again and again. You know when you are so sure of someone liking a place that you recommend? That is Anataolia. Everything from the appetizer, main courses, whether it's a grilled dish, stew, salad or anything else on their expansive menu are delicious. The service is all top notch, great atmosphere, and if the weather is nice, might want to dine outdoors in their atrium. Save room for wonderful Baklavah and rice pudding.

I was pleased to find a Mediterrean restaurant in the Boca area. The ambiance is pleasant, no blaring music, spacious enough but cozy. I have taken a number of friends and family since discovering Anatolia, and all have loved the experience- whether heavy meat- eaters or vegetarians. One could make a feast of the hot or cold appetizers alone. I have enjoyed the soups, chicken, lamb and fish. The service is unusually pleasant and friendly. The Turkish tea is the best. This restaurant is a wonderful option for last minute plans, but even better- they take reservations. In my opinion Anatolia provides a much needed dining option in the Boca area.

We frequent this restaurant quite often. Has been normally a good experience. In our last visit, we did not get the table we had requested. Also, the service was below par, either they were low on resources, or we were neglected. Food was good, not excellent, meat was not as tender as it used to previously.

Always liked going and have dined there many times. Unfortunately this experience was nothing like the past. Service was poor and food was not as good (dry meat, cold soup). Did it change hands? I didn't see most of the usual staff and unfortunately it was disappointing. Had to ask to find out if there were specials - in a hurry to just take our order. Asked for an explanation of something and seemed like they really didn't want to bother. Sorry - it was a prior favorite.

I tried iskender Kebab while my wife tried Lahmacun which is like pizza with chopped meat and we both enjoyed our food. We shared a Kunefe for dessert with Turkish coffee. We will definitely go back.

We had a truly delicious meal. My husband is a fussy eater, and I am critical. Both of us were Totally pleased with our meals. The Greek salad was wonderful, though a 2. Up charge for feta cheese was a surprise. Calamari was delicious, as was the Turkish pizza. Everyone tried hard to please. One suggestion- there were so many additional charges on the menu- more bread, different vegetables, feta cheese, as mentioned. Just charge a little more, and don't nickel and dime the customers. All in all, a memorable meal. Oh- the lentil soup and rice pudding were both unique and better than any I've ever tasted.

Very interesting menu. The service was rushed. We had not even finished our appetizers when the main course came out. The waiter brought out a single glass of wine instead of a bottle we ordered. We then had to switch wine because they did not have the one we ordered. We did not think we made a good choice of the main entre, stuffed eggplant. It was a slab of eggplant with ground lamb on top. The red sauce was good and fresh. It was the best part of the dish. The cold platter of appetizers was yummy. Parking is not easy. I would still go back and try other dishes. The Turkish wine was good with the food. It had a kind of herb tasted. Service needed to slow down the day we were there.

We have dined at Anatolia many times and the food is always very good. I recommend their "shepard's salad" although it has a turkish name which I don't remember. My husband and I usually share the mixed grill, which is enough for two, especially with a salad (shared) and perhaps an appetizer before. The service was very good this time as we had a server who was very pleasant and accomodating, a lady from Lithiuania.
