  • "Innovative and delicious. Caring service. Unpretentious fine dining, a real gem. Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi's dining room, called Anasazi Restaurant, is one of Santa Fe's best dining experiences. Food to die for, we loved the ambience and simple yet delicious meals offer here at Anasazi. Anasazi Restaurant has the acclaimed Martin Rios of "Iron Chef". The attention to detail was unbelievable, both in terms of flavors, presentations, and preparations. The food contains seasonal ingredients and incorporates molecular gastronomy techniques. My fiance and I traveled to Santa Fe for a day trip during our travels in the Four Corners region, it was worth every mile from the Village of Loch Lloyd - MO."

  • "Anasazi restaurant is a cut above for margaritas, food, and service. Close to the plaza, the patio offers a wonderful connection with the downtown. Sunday brunch is best enjoyed in the dining room. The dishes are creative and delicious and served in a wonderfully restored building."

  • "The chef himself came to our table to describe his offerings for the evening's prix fixe menu priced at $45. Starters: heirloom tomato and peach salad, with peach gazpacho sorbet or crab cakes. Entrees: lamb sirloin or halibut with lobster. Dessert: Vanilla pannacotta with rhubarb gelatin, puree and sorbet. Our group of four tried everything and were happily impressed with all the dishes. Initially the service was very attentive. Unfortunately, in spite of our telling the wait staff that we had to leave at a particular time for a performance, we had to prompt our servers to bring dessert and our check. We were rushed to depart and make the curtain."

  • "We dine at the Anasazi Restaurant often and can honestly say no one in our party have ever been unhappy with their meal. If you've never dined here you should give it a try! Sunday Brunch is a good meal to start with!"

  • "Thanks to our server, Leslie, we had the perfect dinner--with food prepared to our specific desires. She suggested the flan for dessert and it was fantastic."

  • "The food was fine and the service very good, but this is in essence a hotel restaurant. In Santa Fe, there are probably a dozen restaurants I would rate far better with respect to ambiance, creativity in mixing flavors, presentation and impeccable service. Of the dozen or so meals we ate in SF, I would rate Anasazi toward the bottom. Good but not great, as their competition is strong."

  • "Took my wife here for our 12 year anniversary and it was great. The live music (one guy playing classical guitar and singing) was a nice surprise. The environment set the mood for a nice quite and romantic dinner. The menu was simply yet allowed for some variation, which I prefer than a long laundry list of choices. They serve warm homemade bread with chile and herb butter, very tasty. We ordered the Duck Mole, which was excellent. For our main course, I had the Sea Bass, which was good. My wife had the better dish, the blackened Salmon (AWESOME)."

  • "Excellent service. Food excellent. Expensive. Large wine list with splits. Some of the waiters acted as if they were doing us a service by serving us --condescending. We pulled in to the valet parking. Had to go in to the restaurant to find the valet, only to be told valet lot was full. Matre d' offered drinks, but waiters scoffed."

  • "I had Diego as my server assisted by Nancy, the two know how to make a single diner feel welcome and looked after. the breakfasts are always consistently delicious and the service first class. Dining for breakfast is always a treat. First class, bit not stuffy."

  • "I ate here 3 times in 4 days.Whether you have a drink or a full dinner, you have the staff's entire attention. My husband is still raving about the mushroom soup! Chef visits tables and was wonderfully thoughtful on our anniversary. "

  • "My son and I ate at Anasazi for Mothers' Day. We perused the menu the night before and were tempted by almost everything on it. Fortunately, the special buffet for Mothers' Day included many of the most-attractive items. The "build your omelet" station was staffed by a server who filled a bowl with the chosen ingredients and brought the finished product to the table, leaving us free to explore the rest of the buffet instead of waiting as has been the case in every other buffet at which I have dined. The chipotle hollandaise and chicken sausage that accompanied the "Anasazi Benedict" were spectacular, which is a particularly strong statement and I normally refuse to eat sausage. "

  • "Lovely experience. Enjoyed the music. A visit to Santa Fe should include a dinner at Anasazi."

  • "For those who appreciate fine dining and competent service, this is the place to go."

  • "Mushroom soup was a big hit with my two guests. The trout BLT sandwich is one of my all time favorites at this restaurant. Perfect thin, crispy french fries accompany it. One guest had lobster quesadilla -- can you imagine a more luxurious lunch? And, as always, the desserts are sinfully wonderful. Strawberry meringues melt in your mouth; dulce de leche and chocolate ice cream with flan combo has got to be one of the best desserts in Santa Fe. The $20 3 course prix fixe at lunch is one of the town's best deals."

  • "As was beet/goat cheese salad. Too bad service was slow, inattentive and had to ask repeatedly for service. 3 ordered desserts and they all came at different times, 15 min apart or more and brandy Alexander was a joke. Too bad. Good atmosphere, friendly servers but need to amp up training. "

  • "We went there for lunch with a large group. The $20 prix fixe menu was excellent value with a wide choice and generous portions of delicious food. The service was excellent and very accommodating. Would definitely return."

  • "One of the most tasty dinners I have had in a long time, and I'm a foodie from Boston, which has its fair share of upscale restaurants. Our entrees were fabulous. The presentation was spectacular beyond belief but most importantly, everything was a revelation in taste. We tried the chicken (grilled breast and a chicken sausage) and the sea bass, both were cooked perfectly, with perfectly fitting vegetables and sauces. And the desert we shared was equally exceptional. Small round pieces of pineapple cake, with an amazing mango salsa and mate ice cream. Ambiance was nice but unassuming, and the service was impeccable. Definitely on my list of places to go back to should our travels take us to Santa Fe again."

  • "For several years my wife and I have traveled to Santa Fe for a long weekend getaway. We have eaten at all the hotspots. For the second year in a row the Anasazi won the foodie war hands down. The service is also second to none. Don't pass this up during your visit to Santa Fe!"

  • "Excellent diner for four of us on a Saturday night in Santa Fe. Chef Juan (from Argentina) came out to visit each table for a few minutes. We listened to his menu suggestions and he also suggested we look at the bar menu before deciding on our meal. We picked a few appetizers from that menu and then the entrees from the regular menu. Scallops, shrimp and risotto, and the mole enchilada all were excellent. Good selection of vegetarian and gluten free offerings. We visited with Tom the food and beverage manager on the way out. The flamingo guitarist in the background was great to listen to. Best thing was the place was not too noisy - we could converse easily."

  • "My husband and I had dinner here a few nights ago and are still talking about how much we loved this meal! He had crab cakes for an appetizer and I had the heirloom tomato salad.....both delicious! My husband ordered the Beef tenderloin and short rib tortellini and I had the crimini mushroom panzottis....absolutely amazing! The sauce on my dish was excellent and I think my husband fell in love with the short rib tortellini! He was also excited to see a couple of Mezcal options on the menu too. Our server was delightful! Unfortunately, I can't remember her name but she was kind, knowledgeable, and just had a sweet spirit about her that we enjoyed. Loved this place! Will definitely come back on our next trip!"

  • "The crab cake was tasty but not warm inside. The seabass was rubbery and bland. The salmon was excellent."

  • "Four of us arrived, almost at closing time, after a very long day driving. We were so grateful to find the service very welcoming and unrushed. We kept to pretty simple offerings, but everything was prepared well and tasted great. We'd go back again. "

  • "This is a restaurant suited for an intimate dining occasion. The Anasazi offers choices to satisfy a sophisticated palette. Lovely Southwestern setting."

  • "They have a $20, 3 course prix fixe lunch that is great value. Soup or salad to start, then choice of 3 entrees and 2 desserts. I chose the Trout BLT main course for $15 instead this time and OMG, it was fantastic. Large portion with french fries on the side. A friend had the 3 course prix fixe with beef tenderloin as main course (she said this is the second time she has ordered it because it is so delicious). Her dessert was flan with homemade ice cream -- decadent, delectable, divine. Two people can definitely share a dessert, so suggest if two of you come for lunch, one person orders the 3 course, and the other person orders just a main dish. Plenty of salad to share and dessert to share."

  • "The organic Scottish salmon is a wonderful dish. We accompanied it with the Tortilla Soup which is the best in Santa Fe. The service was very good and the restaurant is quite comfortable."

  • "We loved Anasazi on our first trip a year ago and it was just as good this time. We had the salmon and the pork chop, both were wonderful. The crab and corn chowder was outstanding as well. This is a restaurant we will return to whenever we are in Santa Fe. Our waitress's cheerful nature was contagious and added to the experience."

  • "The entire experience, from being greeted when we arrived to a sincere farewell when we departed, was excellent. The wait staff is very efficient and they know of what they speak! We ordered three different entrees and all were beautifully presented and were delicious!"

  • "There were three of us and all had a great meal. For Restaurant Week the soup or salad, entree and dessert was $20.We all agreed the desert alone was worth $20. We come for brunch several times a month and are always happy we came."
