  • "aMuse uses fresh foods and prepares it in a fresh and interesting way. It is all delicious. The wait staff is extremely attentive. The chef was cognizant of my gluten issues and would have altered any meal I chose to make it GF free. The menu is brief. Maybe it would be nice to have a few more choices, but my guess is that they change their menu often so people can return and try something new. We had a good time and gained some info about the community as well."

  • "We had the 7 course tasting menu. This was our first time at a(Muse) and our first tasting menu. Every course was amazing, creative, and had awesome flavor combinations. Service was excellent as were the cocktails. It was a terrific experience."

  • "My fiancé and I went out for our ritualistic date night on the last night of our vacation, we had dined at amuse last year and had a couple small plates and truly enjoyed ourselves. This time around, however, was not up to par. We chose to do the 4 course tasting with wine pairings, probably the wrong choice. I won't get into it too much but every protein was over cooked (ie well done quail and scallops), wine service was late for half of our courses and lastly the dishes were poorly balanced (ie the chow chow with the quail overwhelmed the wine, the jalepeno relish was so piquant our palettes were shot, the amuse bouche lacked a vibrancy one would expect to start a meal , etc). Service was accommodating."

  • "We elected to try the chef's tasting menu on a moderately busy Friday night in July. Our waiter, Chris, provided excellent service throughout the night. He initially interviewed us to make sure we did not have any dietary restrictions or food allergies before placing our order. Our custom menu included garlic custard, poached lobster, Hudson Valley foie gras, lamb, and finally, variations on chocolate. Each course was a delight for both the eye and the palate. The only downside to eating indoors was the noise level (acoustics are awful) and the choice of music, which was more appropriate for the boardwalk. Highly recommended for the food and a much better experience with a tasting menu than we had at Volt in Frederick, MD."

  • "We started at the bar and David took great care of us. When we moved to a table Palma made excellent wine and dinner suggestions. One person in our group was vegan and the kitchen team easily accommodated. Finished with the bone marrow oreos because we had seen the pic online. Great as always."

  • "It was a wonderful experience as always! One of the best places in town."

  • "Yet again, a(Muse) exceeded our already high expectations. We brought a vegan, a vegetarian, and a year old to the restaurant, and chef Hari, Stephanie, and the rest of the staff outdid themselves with both food and hospitality. We are so fortunate to have them here! From the pickled vegetables, to the grain salad with runny egg, the beet soup, the pasta, and the outstanding garlic custard, it was all amazing. And the baby loved it too!"

  • "First time to a(muse) and wonder why we haven't been sooner! Quality food, prepared in a unique way made for a nice meal. Duck confit was delicious and soft shell crab was cooked to perfection! Wine list was good, but not over priced and desserts ended on a sweet and playful note. Suspect this will be our new "go-to" in-town Rehoboth restaurant for dinner."

  • "The food was spectacular as always. I Never leave this place dissappointed."

  • "Food was good, service was excellent, very gourmet with great presentation. But portions were tiny. I had the duck, with the lobster app. The qty was very small, and just ok. The lobster was good but again very small portion. My wife had the diver scallops and osso bucco. Only 3 scallops for 28.00. I really think that's rediculous. All total we left with a 130.00 bill including 1 drink apiece and tip still hungry. Then went to Coldstone for ice cream."
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "I thought that the menu was limited. The duck entree that I ordered was good but there were only two slices of duck. The chilled beet soup was frozen on the edges. Will not go back."

  • "Always seems understaffed. Food is unusual- but good. Noise (acoustics) needs work. Ceiling is painted tile- not good."

  • "One of the best meals ever in Rehoboth. Wonderful taste combinations and each dish was different. Superb sauces. Chef has very creative and unique style. Let him show you what food can be. GO!"

  • "The boyfriend and I had our vacation date night here, and wow -were we surprised (positively!) :) A(muse) is a fantastic place for the adventurous avant-garde. Food was amazing and creative; it took a bit longer for the entire dining experience than in a normal restaurant, but the ambiance and company were great. Food-wise, the sweetbreads were insanely delicious, the beet soup was cool and refreshing, and the entrées of soft shell crab and monkfish left both of us speechless, and the bone marrow "oreos" were ridiculously good with the cardamom milk ... Truly a Rehoboth gem- we will be back soon! :)"

  • "We chose the chef's tasting menu of 4 courses. Fantastic! Only adventurous diners should head to this place. It is NOT meat and potatoes- think offal and shellfish. Unique, especially for Rehoboth. Staff was friendly and professional. We'll be back!"

  • "Creatively prepared and presented fresh dishes are always wonderful here. Brought friends who are new to Amuse and they loved it and will be back often. The bartender, David, also has created some great cocktails and in our opinion has been the best bartender in town for many years."

  • "The kitchen was very slow and in an empty dining room. Waiter was great and tried to compensate for slowness. Cheese plate was exvellent but the entrees, while presented well, were lacking to the palate. The chef should work to design non bland dishes."

  • "An amazing experience from a truly incredible chef and personal friend. Hari has come so far since we attended culinary school and made my first experience at a(MUSE) one to remember. For the full experience, I recommend going with the 7 course tasting. Congrats to him and his wife on their great success, I already cannot wait to return!"

  • "As each plate of food arrived, it was a party in your mouth, so many great flavors and unique tastings!!! AMAZING meal!!!! Favorite had to be the scallops, the cheeses, potted chicken, and the garlic custard....garlic custard?? Yes it was so good and I really need that recipe! Cheers to the chef for an outstanding meal!"

  • "Presentation is a beauty. Only surpassed by ingenuity. A garlic yogurt with favs beans was a great start. Lamb tartar was to die for. One regret is that this menu changes constantly so I am assuming they will be supplanted by something else, but I am also looking forward to that. Second major regret is parking. This is the beach area of Rehoboth, virtually zero parking during the season. "

  • "food very good. unusual items on menu. not a huge selection. moderate portions. setting fairly bland, but overall a good dining experience."

  • "Really enjoyed our night at (a)Muse. Menu is interesting and a little adventurous. We chose to go with the 4 course tasting menu. 1st plenty of food if that is a concern. Presentation is very nice and service was prompt and attentive. Would we do the tasting menu again, most likely not on our next visit. Although good it is the choice of the chef what you get all the way to dessert which is not unusual but you miss some interesting things that you may really want to try on the menu. You can only tell them what you don't prefer to try. It was still good, plenty of energy in the room and all of the food was prepared very well. "

  • "This might possibly be the best restaurant in the Mid-Atlantic. It is worth a trip to Rehoboth just to dine at a(MUSE). The sweetbreads are outstanding, scallops the best we've ever had. "

  • "We have never had such an outstanding dinner experience. We tried the four-course tasting menu (reasonably priced at $55) and every course was a wonderful and exciting surprise. We extended our stay in Rehoboth by a day so that we could dine one more time at a(MUSE) before going home. This restaurant is perfect for an adventurous foodie. If basic meat and potatoes are your preference then try someplace else, If you want extraordinary dining this will become your favorite spot. "

  • "We felt very welcome upon walking into aMuse. It just got better and better, our server and the rest of the waitstaff were wonderful. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "We came here and had a great meal! The portion sizes were perfect, the vegetables were part of the meal not a side item. Everything on the plate complimented each layer of flavor. The roasted carrot dish was brilliant! I had a corvina appetizer as my meal and it was grilled perfectly. I would totally go back. The only downside was our server was less than enthusiastic and while she did check on us from time to time, she seemed preoccupied. It was not due being slammed, but that would not deter me from going back."

  • "It was our first time at a(Muse.) and selected the 4 course tasting menu. With the amuse bouche, it was really five courses. It was neat to not know what was coming next. We're not big on foo-foo meals but I really didn't find this to be that type of meal as the ingredients were unique and put together in unique ways and the best part of the meal was the depth of flavors and textures. First two courses were outstanding. My wife and I were mixed on the third course as the fish was her style not mine and the sauce worked for me and not her. We both agreed the desert course was the least successful as it was just chocolate on chocolate on chocolate. We're not big desert fans anyway so we next time we'll ask for something savory."

  • "The food was remarkable. Amazingly balanced and unforgettable. I was a little disappointed about the service. I expected that the staff would at least explain and introduced the dishes as they get served since they know it was the first time my family and I dined there. Overall the food made it an unforgettable Mother's day for us. I will still return there I think."

  • "My husband and I made reservations for our one year anniversary. When we showed up early they sat us immediately in a booth off to the side as I requested when I made the reservation. We were given two glasses of wine on the house in celebration of our anniversary. We chose the 7 course tasting and it was amazing. The chef tailored it to our likes and dislikes. The portion sizes were perfect even with 7 courses! At no point did we feel rushed but we were not neglected. We were constantly attended without anyone one coming over. we could see our server, and the other servers as well, always looking over to see if we needed anything. We will go again very soon because it was a wonderful experience."

  • "We were a party of 4 for dinner. Three of the dinners were wonderful. The fourth, a top sirloin steak, was not good at all. Requested it to be medium rare. My husband is not fussy and besides it being overdone, said that it was tough and tasteless. Needless to say that it was disappointing. Nothing was said to the waitress as we are not comfortable doing that."

  • "We dined at aMuse on Saturday the 19th and it was a great experience. The server, Palma, was very knowledgeable and explained items perfectly. The service style is more team oriented and everyone that touched our table was friendly and wonderful. The cheeses before the meal were great - Palma helped us to choose the perfect ones. There was a peach habanero jam that I wish they would jar and I could buy. Salads and apps were fresh and tasted like Spring in the best way possible. The grains and seeds is a not to be missed item. Dessert was fantastic with homemade ice cream and a display of chocolate that was out of the this world. The chef is truly talented. We will certainly be back!"

  • "Service was hit and miss. Though not many people in the restaurant, we had to ask twice for plates for appetizer that was served. Duckling was wonderfully prepared and enjoyed immensely. Second diner enjoyed scallops that were blackened and quite tasty. The rest of the plate was drowned in kale (not bad) and more lentils than anyone could consume in one meal. This dinner would have been far better with something other than kale and lentils."

  • "This was my second visit to a(muse) and just as the first time it was fulfilling and exceeded expectation. Some restaurants when choosing presentation as a goal end up lacking quality. That is not the case here. Though eclectic, the service has the same heart warming touch of a country diner. You sit there amazed at how someone came to this dynamic and tasteful combinations. It's truly a must see of Rehoboth Beach."
