Our waiter took it upon himself to make our night memorable from being more than gracious with his service to taking photos for us at the end of the meal. The background music was a bit too loud and very alternative. The food was good and plentiful and the presentation was very nice. Three Cheese Onion soup, outstanding. I had the house special of seared filet and french fries (Steak Frites) along with seared brussel spouts (slightly burnt). The Marjoram Lamb T-Bones were very large and the lobster bouillabaisse was outstanding. The standard Desserts were very good; I had the Dark Rum Ice Cream, very good. The onion soup is classic french, and the warm baguette withe the whipped butter is to die for.

The interior is unique, elegant and contemporary with appropriate respect to its classic fondation. The food was presented very well and its helped that the weather was perfect and light spilled onto the table highlighting the food. Enjoyed each item as fresh and favorful. Our daughter gifted us with a certificate for a lovely dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The wait-staff was excellent and the food phenomenal. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy - one of the best I've tried so far, especially since it had huge chunks of real lobster in the soup. My eggs benedict were outstanding along with fresh-squeezed orange juice. The servers were attentive and courteous. We had a table next to the fireplace. The tables are not too close together and the room is spacious and bright. I almost gave the restaurant an "Outstanding" rating (which I rarely give out) but it just didn't missed out on the rating. Decided to eat at Amuse because it was in the hotel I was staying at. Restaurant offers a small but diverse menu. I decided on the arugula salad starter which was amazing! Great flavors all around! As the entree, I chose the halibut. The fish was perfectly prepared and presented. Overall a very good dish but I found the broth the fish and the vegetables were in to be lacking in flavor. Nothing major but a kick of seasoning would have gotten the "outstanding" rating I wanted to give the restaurant. Great Illy espresso ended a wonderful mea.11/19/2012 12:00:00 AM
