  • "We were seated at 4:30 the chef did not come to table until almost 5:30. After 45 minutes of waiting finally asked when we would be served . I was told they only had 2 chefs on duty. I only seen 1 chef I guess ours had a lunch break or something. Then after all of that we were charged incorrectly. Had 5 people & were charged 5 $12.99 meals & one $9.99 kids meal. Didnt notice until we left. It was my 35th birthday & your service ruined my experience. I would never return & would never recommend to anyone."

Everything is fresh made, with high quality fish and some of the ccombinations that that have will invigorate your taste buds. They are worth the visit if you are thinking of trying them out."

  • "In a previous year I had chosen Amuras on Sandlake for Valentine's Day and had a great experience. It was quiet, romantic and had great food and atmosphere. Since all bookings were full this year, I chose the Heathrow one. The experience was the complete opposite. With a reservation there was a 45 minute wait. There was loud techno music blaring, and the atmosphere was bright and not romantic. The food was fine. Just don't go for Valentine's Day or if you want to talk to your partner."

  • "Our reservation was for 8:45 pm and we arrived early at 8:20 pm however we were not seated until 10:00 pm. While it was nice to book a reservation using this service Amura obviously did not plan for the large crowd or honor the reservation time. Tempers were flaring, I was not upset about the wait and almost excepted it before arriving but it would have been nice if they had honored the reservation time. Food was awesome as always along with the service."

  • "I made a reservation at this restaurant @3weeks prior to valentine's day. When my husband and I arrived, we were told it would be 20-25 minutes before we could be seated. The hostess took our number to call when our table was ready. We decided to go across the street to Shula's. We got a table and we're eating appetizers by the time the hostess called 45 minutes later. Needless to say, we stayed at Shula's where the food was excellent and so was the ambiance and service."

  • "We Love Amuras, and go there for our Anniversaries almost each year. But if you're goung with a group, be prepared for a long meal! We made a reservation for 7pm for 9 people and didn't get seated until after 8pm. So considering we had a reservation, it took waaay to long. Then we ended up not actually getting our sushi boats until after 9pm. Although two of our guests got their meal 45 mins before the rest of us got.our meal. Good thing we had Salads and a small appitizer or we would have been famished! Amuras food has never let us down, we will continue to go for our anniversary, but will rethink going in big groups. Our waitress was kind and pretty on top of our appitizer/drink needs. So thats a plus."

  • "Went here for an anniversary and was pleasantly surprised. While it did seem noisy inside, we opted for outside seating which was cozy and secluded. The food was amazing, some of the best sushi I've had in a long time. The rolls were large portions and came in so many varieties. It also turned me on to a new Italian moscato wine I love. I can't wait to go back."

  • "My wife and I dined at AMURA, this past week, not our first time. we typically hit the Teppan Grill and get a good mea. This time, being New Year's Eve, we upgraded the meat choice to Filet and found that both the filet and chicken were the best we have ever had at this restaurant. Service was good even though they were pretty busy. Definitely would recommend AMURA."

  • "We come to Amuras quite often. We always come for the Sushi. We have never had a bad piece of fish. If I had to give a negative comment it would be that we ordered the Lake Mary boat which the menu said came with a Super Crunch roll, which was not on the boat. Something else was substituted for it.   • "Our party of 4 had a great time @ Amura on New Year's Eve. We were seated immediately upon arrival, despite a crowd waiting at the door (reservations are key). The server appeared quickly to take drink orders which themselves arrived just as we had agreed on appetizers (perfect timing). We enjoyed our appetizers, but we did note that the bulgogi (Korean beef) had a texture that was a bit mushy (it was much better on a prior visit). Main courses arrived in time for a 2nd round of drink orders; the "sampler" of sea bass, tuna tataki, & salmon accompanied with shrimp & scallop tempura was a big hit & was an excellent value. The vegetarian in our group loved the tofu with vegetables. The sushi lovers were equally happy. A great dinner!"

  • "Apparently, Thursday is not the evening to go there if you actually want to have a conversation with your friends instead of yelling at them across the table. It was way too loud and the walls do nothing to limit the noise. They just reverberate off of them. If you want a cheap martini, then this is the place for you. If you wanted to meet for sushi and have a quiet conversation, this is not the place to go. Wish that we got up and went to the Thai restaurant across the street."

  • "I had an 8pm reservation for 2 on a Saturday night. Parking was easy enough in the lot outside. We were greeted warmly and taken to a nice big booth for two, which I thought was great. Food and service was delicious. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The sushi was fresh and delicious. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to others."

  • "After a slow start - it took a while for our server to come over, we had a great evening. Most of our group had sushi - they were pleased with the variety of choices and overall quality. Two of us opted to order from the menu - I had the Fiery Garlic Chicken and my friend had the Steak and Lobster. Both were excellent choices, the steak and chicken were very tender and had great flavor. Would definitely recommend!"

  • "My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and we had Harry as a server. He was great! Nice and attentive. My wife love Amura's sushi and last night was no exception. However, I order their Korean ribs and I was surprised at how bland they were. The flavor was ok, but not at all as flavorful as other things I have had there. The miso soup was also surprisingly good-I thought all miso soup was the same. Overall, it was nice but not worth the premium price."
