Great Location, love the ambiances e of both bar and restaurant areas. Our server was very pleasant, though mixed up our bill at end in our favour to which we pointed out and had fixed. She was kind enough to provide some of her own honey for my wife's tea after dinner, which I found odd that the restaurant didn't have the proper amenities to provide proper service, even if it was just tea in a gastro-pub. We are locals from neighbourhood, return regularly for drinks at bar or a nice casual dinner with friends.

We called twice days in advance regarding birthday specials and the lovely waitress told us that we can choose a dessert off the menu on the house and have sparkler candles set up. Unfortunately the manager on duty that evening charged us the dessert that was supposed to be on the house. No one mentioned anything because we wanted the group to enjoy the evening. We paid the full amount and left as nothing happened. It is not the free stuff that we care about its the lack of communication and service standard we are most upset with. Otherwise, Good food, good service coming from waitresses.

I've wanted to go here for some time and it was TOTALLY worth it. I know it's a brewhouse and supposed to be all about the beer but I don't drink so can't personally comment but the men were all impressed with their tasting menu choices. The food and service we had was really excellent. I had the brisket burger with sweet potato fries - unbelievably delicious! My friends had the pizza, pear salad, poutine, swordfish and beef dip ... everyone was really happy with their choice and already talking about what they'd order next time. The view here is a wonderful bonus ... I think this is truly a gem spot in our city that people should give a try.

Went for my finances birthday, I had a raspberry wheat beer and it was delish! He had a flight of beer and all hit the spot, as well as a pint of something else! Food was okay, I had a chicken wrap with fries, the wrap was too cold & a bit soggy, almost as if they made it in the morning and just take it out when someone ordered it. Would have preferred warm chicken and a warm or room temp wrap! Fish tacos were better & poutine was okay. Nothing amazing! However we couldn't resist the pretzel and glad we didn't it was soooo fresh and warm and perfect! The Wort sauce was amazing! Perfect complement to the beers!

We were visiting from out of town and tried this place for fun. It was right near the aquarium and ball park, within walking distance. Great restaurant that is right on the waterfront. The view is great. Has beer brewed in house that was quite good. Food was pub fair with a twist. It was tasty.

We dined inside. The atmosphere was good. Our waitress was one of the worst we have ever had. Our food arrived. We had no silverware for about 5 minutes while everything was getting cold. Our salads were missing ingredients that were suppose to be in there. For the price we paid, we could have gone to a much nicer place. I would recommend this place for a couple of beers, dining outside on the patio. If you want half decent food and service, please go somewhere else.

Do NOT go here! We were seated upstairs, in the dining area with no bar around, and it took 10 minutes for a waitress to come up. She ASKED if we wanted a menu, in the dining room. No drinks yet. 15 minutes later we had no drinks and she'd not taken our order. A total of 25 minutes after we sat down and we had no order placed or drinks on the table. We left...never to return again. It's loud and family unfriendly. Don't go there.

Amsterdam is one of my favourite brewing companies so I was excited to check out this place and hopeful that they had food to match. The beer was delicious as always, and I was excited to get to try the cask beer as well; which was fantastic. The restaurant had an amazing amount of tables with a great view of the lake...unfortunately mine was not one of them which would be my only complaint. The food was great although the portions were small. For example, we ordered a charcutiere plate which sadly came with only 3 pieces of bread for a disproportionate amount of food. Other than that the food was fantastic, I ordered the lobster rolls which again were great but a little small and my girlfriends chicken schnitzel was great as well.

I proposed to my girlfriend at the Amsterdam BrewHouse out by the harbour. The managers were extremely helpful. They saw my plan from the beginning to end and even pretended to play along. They have a top notch Events Manager, Karlee. Staff are all very friendly and absolutely helpful. I could not have asked for better cooperation. They even let me use their outdoor roofed patio for the proposal. Five stars for the great experience. Food wise: lemon chicken schnitzel and burgers are great. And of course, a good beer selection and beer tasting menu.

I have been here a few times now so I thought it was time to write a review. The food has consistently being delicious. I very much enjoyed the burger; the meat was tender and succulent and the bread was very flavorful. I have also had the beef short ribs that came on a bed of white rice. Again delicious and the server put a side of hot sauce which really gave the meal a kick :). I highly recommend this place to those who tasty dishes.

Wonderfully situated restaurant with excellent views and a great menu. Difficult to find many options to eat here if you have a few food allergies as much is pre-marinated, fried, or involves wheat (the correct gf designations need to be updated on the menu). The presentation was lovely and wait staff were helpful. The hosts at the entrance of the establishment seemed passively disinterested but found us a table. The chips in the poutine were dry - not crispy and hot because I think they baked the dish in the oven to heat the cheese curds and gravy. It was mediocre compared to places that specialize in fries or poutine. The salad was good but portion of pear was small - about 1/4 of one pear sliced into 3 pieces. Swordfish was better.

As good as a large brew pub can get.... Good beer selection for most palettes. Better than average bar food. Very friendly and helpful wait staff. Excellent scene, especially in the summer. On the downside, getting seating in the summer is hard. Hard to get seating inside in the summer, near impossible in the patio. Not fan of one bill for large group policy, but you could negotiate with your waiter on case by case basis.

Just visiting Toronto but I wish I could go to the Amsterdam Brewhouse again. The atmosphere was interesting. I liked the open concept. Lots of different tables. I had a flight if beer which was good. Decided the Bone Crushers was my fav. Had three kids in tow. They likes the pounte, and the pretzel. Also enjoyed the wings(although "suicide" weren't that hot), Caesar salad and burger. Dessert of flour less cake and tarfutaro was demolished.

First time a month ago. the Green Salad w/ Poached Pear & Brulleed Goat Cheese looked & tasted like a gourmet dish, the greens were fresh, the brulleed goat cheese something new, the dressing made everything delicious....except they forgot the pear. notified the server re the missing pear & made a 2nd order coz the salad tasted really great. 2nd order came w/ 2 pears portions & was just as delicious. Went again a few days ago for dinner, ordered the same salad, but it was a bit disappointing this time. the greens were kinda soggy & overall taste wasn't as good as the first time. My husband liked the tender Beef Ribs, though, & the Chicken Wings was ok. Great location, large area that can seat many guests. would still recommend.

We had 3 kids with us, which I know can make a restaurant nervous. Everyone was great, despite two spilled drinks (one of which was an adult's fault, though she tried to blame it on her very cute 5 year old) and refill requests. The restaurant made the kids, and adults, feel welcome. Food was gorgeous, as it always is. Only note was the sautéed rapini was very garlicky, which I think was a one-off. Flank steak, kids' fish and chips, adult fish and chips, wings, and chicken lettuce cups were all a hit.

My significant other and I went to the Brewery for dinner pre-concert. I had originally made reservations hoping to be on the patio. However, because it was raining all day, we ended up having to sit inside. I was AMAZED by the inside, as it was super spacious and had fabulous views out onto the Harbourfront/water/marina. I loved how it had the two levels. For an appetizer we enjoyed the pretzel buns with cheddar dip - fantastic. The chicken wrap was lacking a bit in terms of the chicken being cold and flavour somewhat drab. There was supposed to be avocado mayonnaise on it but I didn't see/taste the avocado. For someone who doesn't drink beer, I tend to prefer flavored beers. So the summer feature Radtler definitely hit the spot.

Great spot down by the water. Fourth time attending in the past three months and noticed a definite decline each time. Our table had the lobster rolls and chicken wrap. The lobster rolls were three tiny rolls filled with canned ????. Absolutely no taste. The chicken wrap also lacked flavour. Both meals were pre-made as they arrived at the table less than two minutes after being ordered. We will not return.

I found the staff to be immature and poorly trained. I specifically said one of our party was in a wheelchair and there was not a table waiting for us. We also told them when we arrived that one member would be late. When he arrived they would not let him in. He texted me at the table to come and get him. The security guard also asked him if he had been drinking, he is a man with a disability. The food was nothing special, over priced and the staff were all exceptionally immature. We will not return. So happy to have found this restaurant. My husband and I enjoy patio dining and this place exceeded out expectations. Dining by the water with the views of the airport and island were both scenic and relaxing. Food was delicious. We ordered the pizza and beef dip sandwich and both were brought to us without a long wait and very fresh. Drinks were also made to our liking. This was our second visit, the first time we sat inside with our 3 year old daughter who enjoyed her food and the waitress was very attentive to her needs. We will be returning again very soon!
