  • "We ordered the chef's menu and WOW! Not only delicious, but the presentation and pace were off the charts outstanding. The chef came out to talk as we finished dessert - great guy, personable and passionate about his menu. We had a great time and look forward to another visit very soon. "

  • "Our party of 4 all left happy - we shared a cheese board and an order of potato chips for starters. My Manhattan was large and delicious. The wine and beer drinkers were pleased with the options and their choices. The cheese board might have been better for 2 people than 4, but we all got a bite or more of each unique cheese. 2 of us ordered from the small bites section (and added a salad) and 2 ordered a large bite pasta dish. The gator in the gumbo was very tender and mild - best I've ever had. The mussels and coconut broth were delicious. We appreciate the small bite options. Our server was very knowledgeable, and had thorough answers to all our questions. She was available when needed."

  • "Always a pleasure. We usually have the same waitress who now knows our favorite dessert and offers it as soon as dinner is over!"

  • "We decided to dine in the hotel vs. face the snow outside. This restaurant had very good customer service. The menu is small but fresh as they use farm to table. The waitress says that the menu changes every few weeks. The food was tasty and we enjoyed everything we had. My husband loved the beer list and tried a couple of them. After dinner we moved to the bar area so he could continue his beer journey. The bartenders were EXCELLENT, recommending beers based on what he liked and didn't like. Service again was fantastic. You may not consider eating at a hotel, if you are not staying there, but his one may be worth it!"

  • "We had an enjoyable mid-week dinner with our 2 children, ages 8 and 10. My salad was excellent, our entrees were good. I chose two small plates, the tuna was disappointing but the scallops were very good. However the puree that came with the scallops was barely warm. The kids meals (7.95) were both very good but the portions were quite large. Nice choice if you are in the area or staying at the hotel, not sure if I cross town just to try it. Oh and the panna cotta with hazelnut was tasty."

  • "We enjoy restaurants that don't feel the need to provide huge portions. Amp 150 has a wide selection it describes as "small bites" in addition to the usual appetizer, salad and big bite sections. The two of us shared a salad and each had one small bite, ahi tuna for me, gumbo with alligator for her. Perfect."

  • "Going into dinner I was really excited, because AMP 150 is a Cleveland Independents Restaurant, and of it's farm to fork selection. However, service was kind but still a little slow, food was way too salty and not hot at all. Coffee was cold, and stale. Decent craft beer selection, but way overpriced. I'm sorry to say I won't be going back."

  • "We went to Amp 150 with a couple who had been there for the chef's tasting menu before. They raved about it so we got the six courses for $50/person. This turned out to be way overpriced. The mushroom bisque was just okay, my husband enjoyed the mussels (2 bowls since I hate mussels), the salad was also just okay, the flounder was good and the chicken with sweet potato risotto was tasty. The other couple even said it wasn't as good as their first time there. We won't be back but I'm glad we had the experience."

  • "I go to AMP 150 several times a year and am always intrigued by the menu offerings and atmosphere; it is not your typical hotel restaurant. I would not hesitate to recommend AMP 150 to friends, work colleagues, and family!"

  • "I have a terrifically prepared walu fish dish. However when initially served dish was cool and was sent back to be reheated. After that however it was terrific. Overall this restaurant is far above the typical hotel restaurant and I would recommend utilizing his hotel for one of the reasons being the terrific menu and food preparation in 150 AMP."

  • "The restaurant, bar, and lobby are beautifully done. Gorgeous wood, pleasing seating. The lighting for evening dining is too bright though; would suggest dimming capability. We asked for the lights to be dimmed but were told it was not possible. Food was good; not extremely memorable but all in all a very nice meal for all four of the diners in our party."

  • "We were very disappointed with Amp 150. Our drinks ( JW scotch) on the rocks were watered down and tasteless. Although the restaurant was less than half full our entrees were almost cold and were not seasoned with any consistency. The appetizers were okay but not really enough to share, especially the chicken liver pate. Our entire meal consisted of a drink each, 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Bread was not included with our entrees (a pretty common practice at the better restaurants) We spent $100, including the tip. This was not a fine dining experience. I realize that the restaurant is in a hotel, but it just needs a little more class. We've eaten at finer restaurants for less money and much more ambience."

  • "My experience at Amp150 was beyond expectation. The service was phenomenal and the food devine. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys being treated to a heavenly food extravaganza."

  • "We had seven in our party and there were no problems at all. Our drink service was on-time and correct. The food was hot and delivered properly and all at the same time....a wonderful experience. This is another 5 star performance. That is why we keep coming back. Thanks again!"

  • "The food here was great, the biggest issue on this night were the service and the fact that it's located in a hotel. They should do a better job of closing off the restaurant, the service was very slow as well on the night we dined."

  • "This was our 3rd visit to AMP 150. The first time was shortly after it opened and it was not a good experience. Recently some friends highly recommended it so we tried it again and it was exceptional. It was that second experience that moved us to come back and unfortunately this time is was more like our first visit. The restaurant was VERY busy, which is expected for a saturday night, but it seemed like staff coverage was light and as a result service was passable but not attentive. Our meals ranged from very good to just ok, which was disappointing compared to our last visit. I feel we've given AMP a fair shot after 3 visits, and unfortunately it's just to inconsistent for us to want to return."

  • "Went to Amp 150 for a special occasion as we heard good things about it. Although the staff were very nice, they were clearly under staffed as we waited 10-15 minutes before our server even came to our table. At least two other tables were still waiting to talk to a server by the time our appetizers came out, and at least one table complain to management about the wait. Total time from sit down to the check was approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes for 3 courses. The food was hit and miss. The sauce that came with the mussels was one of the best things we tasted. My Delmonico steak was unusually thin and disappointing. Restaurant is in a hotel lobby, and was not very romantic. They did take off money of our bill without us even asking"

  • "Had not been there for a while. Food still very good. While the service was very good, didn't appreciate course being brought out too quickly even though we had them take it back 3 times. Made us feel rushed."

  • "Food was great! They have a farm to table concept and the food was fresh and delicious. My husband and I went for Valentines Day and had the Valentines Day special chef tasting menu. My husband doesn't like chocolate (I know something even I can't fathom) and the dessert was chocolate and the staff made exceptions for the him and gave him something non-chocolate to complete the meal. The only thing that I would say and it's because I didn't know prior to going is that this restaurant sits in the lobby of a Marriott hotel. Not that it made a difference, but just something that we didn't know. Otherwise, we had a great night of some great food and that's all that matters!!"

  • "Amp 150 Was really crowded need another server or 2. We waited 5min. Before someone approached our table with water. I know it was valentines day but that is unexceptable. The food was though was very good and will be the reason i return to Amp 150. Me and my date tried several small plates and a appetizer(the mussels were my favorite though the portion could have been a bit larger). The server was very knowledgable when describing the menu items which really helped us decide on what to order. The bartender though may be an employee of the hotel and not the restaurants needs to make drinks consistently because our 2nd round of French 75's tasted totally different from the first."

  • "My husband and I had an errand in Parma and found this restaurant on Open Table. We had the snapper with Brussels sprouts, both were delicious. We shared the panna cotta and wished we had ordered two. Will definitely return."

  • "Our first course was the chicken liver pâté which was outstanding. My husband ordered the Delmonico steak done to perfection. I opted for the duck salad & one of the small dishs, the quail. Both were delicious. Located in the W. 150th Marriott."

  • "We've been to Amp 150 quite frequently over the last few years and This last trip was the best yet! Great Food and Great Service are always provided, but this trip was extra special. Thanks to all for a great time. We'll see you again in a few weeks!"

  • "Menu selection is intriguing for a hotel restaurant; however, much of our food was served cool by the time it reached our table and some of the veggie sides were overseasoned. Also, the Delomico steak ordered by one in our party was overcooked. A positive highlight was the mussels appetizer."

  • "Had a great selection of small plates, appetizers, salads, entrees, and sandwiches. Great flavor combinations, like the option for chef tastings. I loved the maple scallops, the chicken avacado soup, the Brussels sprouts, and the chocolate panacota. Also liked the lights and the cool beads behind the booths. Server was helpful, friendly, knowledgable, and attentive. We will be back!"

  • "Enjoyed the Chef's Choice with four courses. A wonderful and diverse sampling of salad, small plate, entrée and dessert. The five of us thought that this was a fun and interesting dining experience. A bottle of wine we ordered was out of stock and the chef offered a substitute that was a significant upgrade over our original request-- a very gracious gesture. We will return because of the great food and service."

  • "We were looking for a a good place to eat that didn't kill the budget for one night and that we didn't have to get super dressed up for. We stumbled upon other recommendations for Amp 150 and we we're very pleased. Once you forget you are just off the hotel lobby, you settle in because it is not a distraction. There were plenty of drink and entree selections at a reasonable price plus a New Years Eve special preselect menu. The food was plentiful, artfully presented and very tasty. Most outstanding was our service. I would highly recommend amp 150 for any occasion."

  • "Our waitress was terrible. Food was good but overpriced for what you got. We told the manager about our waitress and he told her about it before we left and she addressed it, then interrupted me, then rolled her eyes and walked away from the table when I was still talking to her. I doubt I'll ever go back."

  • "Had the Gumbo with gator & andouille, Walu, and Panna Cotta. Also, I tasted the braised rabbit and snapper. The people with me had the had snapper, rabbit, pate, apple salad, duck salad, scallops, date cake, apple pie, and espresso crema. Everyone was highly impressed with the quality, quantity, price, presentation, and most importantly taste. The food was beyond expectations & exceptional."

  • "The dining area is off to one side of the lobby of the Marriott. Nice bar and seating though. It is fairly cozy but you still know that you are in the lobby area. The food was creative and tasty. Good variety. We tried a lot of different dishes and they were all very good. Prices were reasonable. Appreciated the attempt to source organic and local. Would definitely go back."

  • "I felt like I was having lunch in either Chicago or New York. It was outstanding. I usually eat at Whole Foods when I am in Cleveland but now I can go to Amp 150. Seriously, I would go out of my way to go there again! The Brussels Sprouts were out of this world! The lunch special was great value: Soup, salad and a dessert which I did not want to end! Everything locally sourced and menu was seasonal! It was hard to decide what to order! What a wonderful surprise!"

  • "The beer menu is fabulous and the servers know every offering. The menu is varied, with speciality small plates a standout. We ordered about 10 small plates for four of us and finished all with delight and enthusiasm. Although located in a hotel, the open ambiance near the lobby was actually an attraction. This is a gem of a restaurant for foodies, with enough offerings for traditional eaters to keep them happy."
