We had the 3-course prix fixe with wine pairing. Each dish and wine pairing was wonderful. The description of each wine and how it went with the food was perhaps the best part. Highly recommend this for a special occasion, as it is a little pricey (over $200 for two). But it was our wedding anniversary, so well worth it.

I've eaten here 3 or 4 times and have never had a bad meal. The chocolate creme brûlée was fantastic!

Daniel, the owner, was a wonderful host and made a point of speaking with each table. He invited us to return to help plan an upcoming trip to Paris

I took my friend to lunch at Amour Wine Bistro recently, and it was delightful. The service was friendly and helpful with regards to wine and menu. Everything was delicious, and at then end of the meal, they brought a lovely assortment of sorbet, that were so tasty and fun to sample. They also brought two complimentary flutes of champagne to add to the festive occasion. The owner was there is explain about the various wines and saw the guests out when it was time to leave. Charming!

I LOVE this restaurant. It is by far the most romantic restaurant in Richmond. Paul makes the effort to talk to every diner each night and make them feel extra special. I am addicted to the escargot!

The owner, his chef and wait staff are all very attentive and accommodating when dealing with food allergies. Just a call ahead, and they are able to prepare a wonderful dinner free of noted allergens. The food is deliciously paired with wine. Truly enjoyable!

We went here for a birthday dinner, 9 people in the party, with one late arrival happily accommodated and promptly fed. The duck I had was delicious, and the wine, recommended by the Maitre D from numerous French Reds on the menu, was drinking well once decanted. The owner is French, and they know how to get things right.

Wonderful service, great food and an owner who stopped by to explain exactly what we were about to enjoy. The time he spent with us made the evening special. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.

My wife had just returned from a trip to France so where else would we go to celebrate in Richmond but our own "touch of France". As always, the food and wine were great!

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Amour. We did the 3 course Prix Fixe with the wine pairings. I got the mid-level pairing, my wife the lower-level. All the wines were very good and paired well with the courses, but the #1, knocked-it-out-of-the-park pairing was the Madeira that he paired with the Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Creme Brulee. One of the best pairings I've ever experienced and I'm not usually a fan of fortified wines. The rest of the food was very good, but not crazy astoundingly can't-wait-to-return good. The service was excellent.
