  • "The variety of food at Amor de Brazil was expansive. The salad bar actually had more options than some of the higher end churrascaria restaurants I've been to. They also had a wide array of meats. They weren't the best meats I've ever had, but they were still very good and quite satisfying. This is a solid 4 star experience."

  • "From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed, the customer service is outstanding! From the hostess to our attentive waitress to the rodizio men who serve meat, each person was knowledgeable and friendly. We came on a weeknight to avoid the weekend crowd. Salad bar is AMAZING & gourmet, no iceberg lettuce here! Think antipasti taken to a whole new Brazilian level. Meats are varied & perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back!"

  • "Great casual yet upscale location. My boyfriend, who is a good ole country boy, felt very at ease and so did I. Food and service were great. Will be back."

  • "The food was fresh and good. The Salad bar had much variety and really appealed to everyone's taste. It was a great first experience and we will definitely go back. It's a great environment for groups based on the service style, and the food is always hot when they bring it to the table."

  • "Went for Restaurant Week - the deal was excellent, and I really enjoyed the food. However, the live music was just too loud for conversation - at least by our table. The musicians were good, just a little loud. The only complaint I would have is that the food came out in odd ways - my table was full before the ribs ever appeared. I understand cooking times, but we were there about 7 pm on a Sunday night, not generally the busiest time, and it was fairly quiet. Otherwise, the servers were very attentive, and our waitress was great."

  • "A date night with my husband led us to Armor De Brazil. There was live music, an abundant salad bar, and an endless line of freshly prepared meats carved tableside. The wine list was ample and the desserts divine. I Highly Recommend Armor De Brazil."

  • "I had high hopes for this restaurant but came away with a very mediocre experience. The salad bar was average with the high point being the cranberry cheese. The meats were generally decent but the gaucho's were spread too thin and we waited a long time between meats. The cheese rolls were good. The mixed drinks were tiny for $7.00 each. Their local competition is Chima and they are behind. Both could learn a great deal by visiting a Texas De Brazil."

  • "We celebrated our Wedding Aniversary since it was day before. The salad's and the meats were pretty good. There was nothing wrong with the service. Didn't have to wait to be seated."

  • "Got put in the back room even though we had a reservation and there were empty tables in the front area. Service was lackluster. Our waitress was very absent. Food was good and salad bar had good variety."

  • "My date and I enjoyed the salad bar tremendously. Very creative use of differing food items there. The meat was very good. Will have to admit I think Chima's steaks are more juicy but this was very good. The noise level was too much...the entertainer was very good, great voice, good music...however, we found the entertainment to be too loud. We couldn't talk, we had to raise our voices a bit to hold a conversation. Hope the singer lowers his music volume a bit next time. This is why I rated the ambience low on your scale above...the interior of the restaurant was great but the entertainer needs to realize that he is not the main attraction, the food and the date we were on was the core of why we're there, not to see/hear him."

  • "Went for Easter Dinner special and was highly disappointed. Meat tasted funny, not fresh. Most meat was well done only . They only brought around four different meats to our table. Salad bar looked like it hadn't been freshened up all day. This was our second visit and our last. "

  • "The area and the atmosphere was perfect. The waiters kept serving us until we busted...lol Very romantic place. Only downfall is that my request for flowers and a private dining area went unnoticed. Instead I was seated in the corner of the main dining area with grapes and wine on my table....Not exactly what I asked for but nice nonetheless. Drinks were great. Hostess were excited for my proposal."

  • "We have been to Amor De Brazil many times previously and always enjoyed the exceptional food and service. We'd heard the restaurant was under new ownership but thought nothing much would have changed. We were wrong. The entire staff had changed. The quality of meats (the star of any rodizio) was inferior and poorly cooked and seasoned. We were offered many meats that were "well-done" which meant they were overcooked and chewy, and almost everything lacked salt. Our waitress was somewhat inattentive in refilling our water glasses though very pleasant as was the rest of the staff. They just all seemed to be out of their depth. Even the live music was cheesy. We may try one more visit to see if this was a fluke, but if not, we won't be back."

  • "The service was good, the food is excellent, my only problem was that the lady who took our wine order did not seem to understand what I wanted and brought red wine instead of the white wine I ordered, but I just went with the red"

  • "My wife and I went on a whim because we noticed that they were running a special on Sunday lunch for 19.99. Honestly, I thought there salad bar was better than Chima's. The meat was excellent, although there was less selection. I believe we had 8 or 9 to choose from. The sirloin was my favorite. The staff was well trained and very attentive to our needs."

  • "We entered the restaurant and no one greeted us. It looked like they were going to have a big party in one of the rooms the way the tables were set up. the hostess finally greets us. We tell her we have a reservation. She said they are backed up do to a party that didn't even start yet. She said if we wanted to eat would would have to wait an hour and told us to go to the bar. We could not believe it. We said, "but we have a reservation". She said, "sorry but some other patrons came in before you and they filled up the reservation section". What? We were upset since we have never eaten here and it was our date night. Some of the meats were wonderful while others were over cooked. On a good note, our waiter was very nice."

  • "...meat, and more meat!. Overall very good and a fun experience. Louder than we expected and combined with the thick Brazilian accent of the waiter it was difficult to hear and understand him. Otherwise very good and will return."

  • "I made reservations here for my sister's birthday. I felt really bad afterwards. It was crowded and loud. the service was horrible. we were trying to stay away from downtown because of the CIAA madness but in retrospect we should have dealt with that and gone to Chima. The atmosphere was harsh and they totally ignored the fact that it was her birthday although I told them in advance."

  • "Amor de Brazil was recommended to me by some friends, so we decided to give it a try. Definitely worth the money! I loved the fact that there was an option to only select the salad bar, because that itself was enough for some in the party. The service was great and so accommodating; on two separate occasions, our waitress and the guys walking around with the meat brought us things that we specifically requested. Will definitely be going back soon!"

  • "Amor de Brazil offers everything you expect from an American churrascaria. Good wine, ample salad bar, wide selection of meats. If it is slow, you may have to ask for the Picanha by name (the house meat, the best cut in most people's opinion). The fried bananas are great. They have something I've never seen before: roasted pineapple with cinnamon (on a stick, of course). I didn't have occasion to try it, but it looked very good."

  • "Frequent this place a lot. Not as good today as it usually is. Not bad, but not up to par with their usual service and selection. Buffet selection had half the cheeses and meats it usually has. No cheese breads or fried bananas were provided to our table. We were told that the person who makes them wasn't in that day."

  • "It was pretty good overall. The only complaint I have is that we had reservations at 7:45 and did not get seated until after 9. We drove over an hour to try this place. We normally eat at the Brazilian steakhouse in uptown."

  • "Went here for Valentine's weekend. Food was decent, but not outstanding. The salad bar was good and had a decent selection. The meats were limited for a Brazilian steakhouse. The service is not that good. If you make a reservation, there is still a very good chance you'll have to wait for a table for 15-20 minutes. The hostess is lost. There is little room for waiting and people are stuffed in a small area to wait. Poor design. This is a common complaint for this place and they need to fix it."

  • ". We went Saturday and had 6:45 p.m. reservations . When we arrived at 6:40 we were told our table would be ready in 5 minutes. We saw the table was being wiped down. We were asked to stand by the bar area. At 7:05 we had to finally say something as the tables had already been cleared but no one was setting the tabel. I am very disappointed that with an open table reservation we had to wait 20 minutes. A first for us. The service was very slow but overall the food was good and I would say definitely a place to try. Just be prepared. We finally left the restaurant at 9:30. Withe 3 year olds was a bit tough."

  • "A good Brazilian restaurant. Wonderfully seasoned meats with great variety. A good selection of salads and veggies. Attentive waiters always asking if we needed anything else. The only complaint, was when we requested a specific meat we didn't always get it. It was almost as if they forgot to send it to us. I would definitely go back. Be very hungry when you go. Though the price is more reasonable than other Brazilian skeak houses it is still pricy if you don't eat large quantities."

  • "We were supposed to go to Chima but missed our reservation and luckily got in here. There was a line at the door when we got there we were early and got seated on time. Service was a little slow at first but picked up and was fast paced from then on. The food was awesome. A lot of flavor with the meats and the salad bar has a pretty good variety of meats and sides. I didn't think I would be happy not going to Chima but honestly I'm very pleased I made it to Amor De Brazil and would recommend it to any rodizio lover."

  • "This place has the potential to be a great restaurant for the area. There isn't much to compete with in the general area and it's competitively priced for a rodizio. The management allowed it to get over booked for Valentine's Day which stressed the staff and irritated the guests that had to wait 30-45 minutes past their reservation time to be seated. The meats were par. The salad bar above average. The bartender was super nice and able to keep up with the whole restaurant and a full bar of waiting guests."

  • "We had been there before and did get a good service and food, but this time we did have a very bad service experience, the server approach our table 2 times on his own and then we had to call him every time we need something or if we need our plates to be removed he will said ok and then walk away and come back after a while. We noticed that there were a couple of tables that experienced the same issue as we did. One of them waited for almost 30 minutes for their bottle of wine as they told us."

  • "The food was pretty good. Not the best Brazilian Steakhouse I've been to but not bad. I went on Valentines Day and it was pretty crowded which made them a little disorganized with things. We had to keep ordering our drinks because our waiter was too busy to remember."

  • "Attentive staff. Food bar is high quality and not full of the "run of the mill" items...it actually has some very unique items. A good variety of cheeses, meats, salads, seafood. The salmon is very good...and that's just the beginning of the experience. The meat on the skewers is unbelievable! Bacon wrapped filet that melts in your mouth, leg of lamb that is outstanding, and the parmesan pork is off the charts. Be sure to ask for some of the native drinks of Brazil, they have alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, that truly makes it a Brazilian evening."

  • "My family went to Amor de Brazil last night. The salad bar was good and the service team worked hard. The flow of meats was inconsistent. The pork and lamb did not come out for about an hour. The garlic meats were overdone. The beef meat and suasage quality did not meet expectations. The setting needs improvement. Tables are too close. I hope the restaurant improves but we are coming back until then."
