Diner Reviews
  • "We have been to this restaurant many times. Food is always fresh and well prepared. Service attentive and friendly. Can get loud when busy, but can still hear each other talk. One of my favorites for authentic Italian food in Cherry Hill area."

  • "We dined Saturday night a this great place in a strip center. The food is excellent and the wait a staff is very knowledgable, attentive and well-trained. I would recommend over and over again."

  • "We dine here frequently and have never been disappointed. This is one of those Eastern European to Italy to US stories and along the way, they learned to cook brilliantly. There are an array of items, I think we have tried most, and all have been delicious. It is a family oriented restaurant and the staff shall make you feel that way too."

  • "dining at Amici, and overall a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Salads were LARGE -especially the Amici one. Next time we would share. Entree portions were such that we did not need to take anything home - which I appreciate. I especially enjoyed the veggies that came with my entree. The only criticism? The tomato sauce on one of the pasta entrees was a bit bland."

  • "Found this little gem on open table. Needed a place to meet for dinner half way between Barnegat and Carneys Point. Read the reviews and decided to go for it. BYOB. Waite staff is excellent, food outstanding. If you go you will come back"

  • "We tried Amici again during SJ Hot Chefs week and were not disappointed. The tasting menu was great, and the service was outstanding as always. Amici is probably our favorite local BYOB, we're looking forward to our next visit. cheers TG 3/25"

  • "Finally got a Saturday reservation at Amici. Our party of four was seated promptly. Service was great. Several waiters taking care of our table. Salads were outstanding. Everyone in party enjoyed their entree. Will return."

  • "This restaurant can be summed up quite simply - very good Italian food (not the absolute best though) for the reasonable cost. It was crowded on Saturday night and we waited over 30 minutes beyond our 7:45pm reservation. However, when we were finally seated, the restaurant gave us compimentary appetizers without our even requesting them. This was a professional gesture and demonstrated to our party of 4 that the management was sincere in their efforts to provide a quality dining experience. The prices are reasonable throughout the menu relative to the high quality of the food, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good Italian restaurant."

  • "This is a wonderful, quite reasonably priced, white-tablecloth kind of upscale Italian restaurant. My bronzini was delicious, perfectly seasoned, sauced, and presented. I recommend the Amici salad-- only ~$5-6, very generous, with pear slices, goat cheese, and other wonderful additions. The entrees came with perfectly cooked & seasoned vegetables. We were a four-some, had some catching up to do, and they made us feel comfortable staying for quite a while after dinner slowly sipping decaff tea and espresso's, sharing one dessert with 4 forks. And it's BYO, a great savings! If you can call ahead for a reservation, do so--- they fill up quickly."

  • "We were actually dinner for six a bit earlier, but the Open Table Website was off on Friday, but the hostess helped me get credit. The food and service were excellent., even though I didn't feel well. We've been there a number of times, as have my girlfriend's daughters and their boyfriends."

  • "Amici is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant. It is a warm and welcoming friendly place--and the owner/chef really takes pains with what he sends out of the kitchen."

  • "BYOB is always welcome for casual evenings. This restaurant's prices were more than reasonable. The food is standard middle of the road Americanized Italian."

  • "Maybe one too many tables, but other than that, we were very pleasantly surprised by Amici. The food was great, the portions were more than enough, and the staff was fairly responsive, once they began to wait on us. Did take us about 15 minutes to get our first water though."

  • "Our first visit to Amici. Always looking for a BYOB, usually go to Collingswood. We did go there on Valentines night, so it is not proper to review a restaurant on their busiest night, but here it is. We made our reservation on OT, 8:00pm. Arrived to smiling hostesses. Many people standing in the doorway waiting for their table, but everyone was seated within minutes We did not place our order until 8:35, but once the food started coming, there were no delays. The food was good. The regular menu looks reasonably priced, frankly $29.00 for 4 courses on Valentines Day is pretty good! Things to try.....Lobster Ravioli!! Eggplant Rollatini was the best I ever had!! We all said we would return there another time."

  • "Even though it was a packed night due to Valentine's Day, everything was very good. The prefix menu was delicious, but I was looking forward to their normal menu. The only annoying part is that it we had to wait for our table even though we had a reservation. Will definitely keep it on the list to try again when their regular menu is available"

  • "We have been here a few times and have enjoyed the food every time. This time they were very busy but we only had to wait maybe 10 minutes. They were able to move people along without rushing you. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Amici is the type of restaurant you can go to any time or for a special occasion."

  • "We had been to this location under a previous owner and were disappointed both times. What a difference a few years makes! Almost everything about Amici's was a pleasant surprise. Food is expertly prepared, and the choices extensive. Although really crowded and noisy the night we went, the restaurant has a quieter section off to the side, which was where we were seated. Three caveats: 1) there must only be two seatings and we had to take the later one, which meant that our food didn't 't arrive until nearly 8:30, yet we had a 7:30 reservation. 2) our server was gruff and not did not seem particularly interested in answering our questions, 3) food was really slow coming out of the kitchen. That said, we will definitely come back!"

  • "If you are looking for a nice Italian experience in the area then this is it. We visited the restaurant with a cuple of friends of ours The space is small and tend to get noise, other then that we had a great experience. From the hostess to our server we were treated very nice. The food was fantastic !!! Homemade pasta was one of the best we had outside Italy. We defenettly make another trip"

  • "We have dined here several times and love the place. It is an attractive room, obviously well attended and the staff work is terrific. The food is simply delicious, as a Euopean, I find nothing lacking. The dishes are very authentic and the portions quite plentiful. All this at a very reasonable price. There are a lot of bad Italians in this here, Amici shines and is a wonderful value."

  • "We have dined here now several times and it has been a lovely experience. The room is attractive, the service attentive and the food, quite simply delicious. On this occasion , hot steaming bowels of fabulous chicken vegetable soup were followed by clams and spaghetti and chicken florentine. Both were delicious, half of mine came home as the portions are quite substantial. The dishes just exploded with flavor and each was prepared to perfection. A tiramisu for my wife and a cafe latte for me and I begn thinking of our last trip to Italy. Try Amici, delicious food at an affordable price. One of the best values in town."

  • "Really enjoyed our most recent holiday meal at Amici. Large group tables slowed down service a bit, but food preparation remained very good-excellent. My wife and I shared the mussels in a white broth - broth could have used a bit more garlic and salt for my taste, but we enjoyed them. My wife had the branzino and I had the NY strip steak. Both were excellent (I had the uneaten half of the branzino for lunch the next day) We will continue to enjoy this local restaurant. From the holiday crowd, it seems that Amici has made its mark in Cherry Hill. Very happy to see Amici's success in a location where other restaurants have not succeeded."

  • "We went to Amici's the Friday after Christmas, with old friends from out of town who had never been there. The food was terrific, even better than previous visits. It's a good thing we had a lot to talk about, because it was a very long time between appetizers and entrees, but they were worth waiting for."

  • "We enjoyed the menu, food and the value for the money at this BYOB restaurant. The only criticism was that the waiter was "hovering" over us and gave us the feeling of being watched. This is a stifling atmosphere when you are trying to enjoy a leisurely dinner. It gave us the feeling of being rushed."

  • "We frequent Amici's often as we love the food and the staff. They are so friendly and not only offer excellent service it is so affordable Their homemade pasta is awesome and calamari lightly fried and fresh. We love trying all the specials!"

  • "First time and we shall return. The food was authentic Italian, far superior to the majority of local venues advertising themselves as such. The wait staff was cordial and several spoke Italian. It is a BYOB and this style of cuisine is really complemented by great wine. Their daily soups and salads were terrific and the veal piccata was delicious. Put Amici on your got to go list."

  • "We've eaten here several times lately and haven't been disappointed yet. The noise level can get a bit high at times, but the stellar service and outstanding food more than make up for it. Its a solid Cherry Hill Italian BYOB that you should try. reservations are a good idea."
