  • "Great service. Good comfort Italian food. My group was pleased with the lunch and the portions are big enough for leftovers."

  • "I was recommended by a local and was pleased with the experience. Food was plentiful (we all had leftover.) However, there was no bread as usual in Italian restaurant. We bought garlic bread, and it was good. The service was prompt and friendly. We'd consider coming back. All"

  • "Our server asked us 4 times in 5 minutes after seating if we were ready to order dinner -- we were not expecting a leisurely dining experience with 3 teenagers but felt VERY rushed -- I get trying to turn a table but really?? We were out of there in 50 minutes so they were successful -- food was good, servings big but we were very disappointed with the curt service and the grabbing of our plates to bus the table the moment you put your fork down --"

  • "Had a delicious dinner of chicken Marsala. The chicken was very moist and tender and the sauce was a lovely Marsala loaded with yummy mushrooms. Service was prompt and attentive. All in all as good as I remembered from eating there before the space was enlarged. Would recommend to others and go there again."

  • "What a great find in Little Italy. We had a large group (11) but they were very accommodating. The service was prompt and at tentative and the food was fantastic."

  • "Ate here as part of a small group prior to an Orioles game, so a late lunch. The first room with the bar is nice and has a homey, old world feel. We were led through a maze of rooms to the back in a room that seemed like an addition. It was very noisy and had all the charm if a trailer. The server was quick, but not overly informative or friendly. The food was a big disappointment. The bread was semi fresh fluffy white Italian. The onions in my husband's dish were practically raw. The sausage in the dish made it very greasy, like it was not drained properly. My gnocchi was over cooked and I didn't care for the meatballs. They had a weird taste. The sangria just tasted like watered down wine. There are much better restaurants in the area"

  • "A very casual eatery in Baltimore's Little Italy. In & out quickly if you want, terrific homemade Italian food. Tortellini with Peas & Ham - Yes! Pasta & Shrimp - Yes! Panne Rotundo - Yes!"

  • "The three entree's we ordered were outstanding. Proportions were grand and presented well. Classic Italian fare, but they didn't supply bread? Momma Mia!!"

  • "We accidentally stumbled onto this restaurant on our way through Baltimore about 6 years ago. It became our go to place every time we passed through Baltimore. The trouble was we could never remember the name of it. Each time we took a guess and got the right door. We've never been disappointed though. With friendly staff, good atmosphere and wonderful home style Italian food at a very reasonable price. You can't go wrong at Amicci's!"

  • "We came from Ohio and brought our kids to Amicci's because we love it so much, but a little disappointing this time. I requested seating in the bar area 2 days ahead of time and got seated on the top floor. We were told by the owner to call ahead if he wanted a dish that they use to make years ago and he would make sure he had it...so he called 2 days ahead and his staff took the message and said it would be taken care of. When we got there, the owner knew nothing about his request and they were not able to provide what he requested. We love the place and will continue to come when in the Baltimore area, but we were a little disappointed this visit."

  • "Sauces made in-house are amazing; so is the pasta, though it's brought in from outside. The Oricchiete with Vodka Sauce is definitely recommended. They also offer Boordy wine! My husband and I had our first date here and have been coming back ever since."

  • "I recently went to Amicci's to catch up with an old high school friend. we both enjoyed our meals, the price was right, and were able to catch up with each other, even though we (annoyingly, I'm sure haha) stayed for ages after we finished our meals chatting. The first time I ever went to Amicci's was in high school, with this same friend! "

  • "It toook 30-40 minutes to get our appetizer which ended up being loaded with garlic and wasn't as big of a hit as our waittress told us it would be. The food was also loaded with garlic and butter. The restaurant was a little loud as there were two somewhat large parties seated in the same room as us. The bar area was nice and much quieter. I wouldn't recommend Amicci's to anyone."

  • "It has been about 15 years since I last ate at Amicci's, but my current visit lived up to my memories. The atmosphere was friendly, the wait staff was attentive and friendly and the food was great. The portion size was well worth the price. I would highly recommend Amicci's to anyone visiting Baltimore for the day. It is a short walk from the Inner Harbor and worth every step it took to get there."

  • "We went there as a group of 9 to celebrate our son's college graduation. We were late due to ridiculous traffic, but our table was held any way. The people who greeted us were warm, gracious and friendly. We had a wonderful server and the food was delicious. We had the house wine which was very reasonably priced and excellent. In fact, the entire meal was reasonably priced. We were extremely happy and will be back!"

  • "Amicci's was so accommodating by seating our party of 8 in a back room where we could really hear each other talk comfortably around a large table. We had two great servers who kept food and drink coming in a friendly manner and never felt rushed. The menu had something for everyone and was great. The prices were very reasonable and the small wine list still had something appealing for white wine and red wine lovers alike. This is the place for a casual dinner enjoying friends with good comfort food."

  • "This was our first tiem at Amicci's and we had a good time. My husband really enjoyed his food and mine as good, expect I wasn't crazy about the sauce used on my pasta. The staff was great, very friendly and very attentive. I look foward to returning. "

  • "We recently went here on our first trip to Baltimore. The staff was incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure our 3 year old was enjoying his meal. The portions were huge and we probably could have shared. We will definitely go back if we are in Baltimore again. "

  • "We walked in with our reservation and were shown to a table that seemed to be in a high traffic area. I don't know if I look like the guy who always wants to sit right near the kitchen, but maybe I'm just lucky that way. The drinks were nice, the appetizer (cheesy garlic bread) was more cheese than garlic, and the meals (lasagna for me and gnocchi for my wife) were eh. The lasagna at One Eye'd Mikes, a pirate and Grand Marnier bar, is magnificent. This was mediocre at best, and it was presented in a simple white bowl on a simple white plate. I'm not one to go super fancy myself, but my plates at home are nicer than these. It just seemed like there was no effort on the food or how it's presented. We won't be going back."

  • "First table was vacated because next table thought shouting to each other the best way to communicate. Went to a different table in adjoining room and had to endure some screaming children. Why can't parents take the little monsters outside when they are disruptive?"

  • "Made a reservation but we arrived early. No problem - seated promptly. House salad was very good (vinaigrette dressing was tasty and did not drench the salad). My date had the Penne Amicci and loved it. I had the veal parmigiana and was equally impressed. "

  • "The "Dolores" plate was amazing. My partner order the regular "Lasagna" and it tasted very good as well. We had Pinot Grigio and Merlot, both wines were very good and reasonable price. The plates were around $13 and $16 but it totally worth it... The size of the meal is consirably large. Thank you Amicci's, I will definitely go back to try "Lorenzo" plate. Btw, the waitress was very nice and informative since I asked her about near bars and she gave me a little note with the names of the best bars of the area... Oh, and she also recommended me the plates we had and they were delicious!"

  • "This was our 2nd time dining at Ammici's. Once again, the food was outstanding. I think our waiter was stoned. He never came back with the Parmesan cheese or pepper we requested for our salads, and screwed up splitting our checks. We gave two credit cards and told him to put one third on one, two thirds on the other. What we got back had NO resemblance to what we asked for (near as we can tell, he put 1/4 on one card and 3/4 on the other). Fortunately, the other person in our section did her best to make up for his inattentiveness. Our group was having a great time catching up so his obliviousness didn't detract from the evening. Will be back with my mellow friends, but not my uptight ones who would be upset about poor service."

  • "This place was a good place to dine. I always enjoy dining in Little Italy anytime I am in Baltimore. Food was great. If they could get a server that focuses on multi-tables and not just one TABLE, this would have been a great lunch. Service was terrible but will give them another visit next time I'm in town there just for the food."

  • "What a great little place. My parents, who had travelled from out of town, asked me to pick a restaurant for Easter dinner. Needless to say, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to eat at Amicci's. I'd been there only once before but found the food outstanding and the ambiance of this Little Italy staple fantastic. I was apprehensive, however, as my dad is as Italian as they come and compares every Italian restaurant to his mother's outstanding cooking. Twice the man said "this is a must come back too." Andrew was our server and he was affable, charming, and patient....my dad had a LOT of questions and requests. Really, if you're in town, go. It's a must!"
