  • "The appetizer -Pane Rotundo, was beyond words...it was delicious. My Penne La Rosa was also great. My wife had the Shrimp Caccitore and it was fantastic."

  • "We recently took my mother-in-law to Amicci's for a birthday celebration. The food was great. Service was attentive. Very nice casual eatery. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try."

  • "I did not think the food was good at all. No real taste to it. bland on bland"

  • "This is an excellent family-run Italian restaurant in the heart of Baltimore's Little Italy. Service is really friendly, the food is good and the portions are really enormous! I have been three times already, and will go back again and again and again!"

  • "My boyfriend and I were recommend to this restaurant by a friend. Our expectations were certainly exceeded! The food was out of this world! We started with the garlic and white wine muscles. My boyfriend nearly licked the plate! He got Jodi's gnocchi which was an overflowing portion and delicious! I got the pesto orecchiette with sausage which was also huge and delicious! We shared a side of meatballs which were probably the best meatballs and sauce we have ever had! We splurged for the bread pudding dessert and cannoli's to go. Which I enjoyed my cannoli the next morning which was amazing ! Our waiter, Keri, was awesome! Very friendly and easy to talk to! The only thing I wished were better was the wine list ."

  • "I had never been to the restaurant before. We went for my son's birthday. I had made a reservation and was promptly seated. I loved our waitress as she was excellent. The service was great and we all loved the food. I also thought the price points were very good. Not overpriced. This restaurant proved to be a good value and I will be back."

  • "I have been to Amici's several times and I have never been disappointed. The noise level is a bit higher that I would like for a special occasion; however, it is certainly in keeping with an authentic Italian meal- lots of people, lots of energy, lots of discussion. This is not a bad thing in my opinion. I enjoy the atmosphere. There is a bar area separate from the restaurant area with the same entrance. I have dined during the weeknights and on weekends during the 4ish time frame. The food is absolutely wonderful."

  • "First time at Amicci's. Chose based on reasonably priced menu compared to others in neighborhood. Wonderful food, fantastic service, great place to dine with a large family group. We enjoyed it thoroughly!"

  • "My family and I celebrated my mother's birthday for an early brunch. The seating is tight but comfortable. The food was delicious, come hungry because the pasta will fill you up. I will be back!"

  • "We decided on Amicci's because we were staying in Little Italy but wanted a "casual" dining experience. The bar has a nice ambiance and was busy but not too busy. We were seated in the main dining area which was a bit cramped. There was a 2 top table next to us that was so close we shared conversation with the couple sitting there since we could hear every word they said. We had their "signature" appetizer which had a great flavor but was barely warm when it arrived at the table. I had the Pepino's Lasagna which was ok but I sent it back as it was cold in the center. My guy had spaghetti & meatballs but said it was fair at best. We will returnin the summer once the outdoor movies start as Amicci's is across the street from that weekly event"

  • "Amicci's has excellent Italian food. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend the Tortellini Roma, but many other good dishes. The current anniversary special is a great deal. The only down side is that they have no beers on tap in the bar and they do not support split or separate checks."

  • "Large hearty entrees. Tasty food. Great price. Good Service. Plus it was resturant week so we saved some cash."

  • "Daughter in Baltimore for conference so met her with other daughter and her boyfriend. Went to Amicci's based on Trip Advisor review. Food was okay but some dishes were bland. Service was below par. Three dishes were given to the wrong persons. Gave us bread only when we asked. When my wife asked for a refill of her diet coke she was given half a glass."

  • "We especially enjoyed the "Anniversary Special" which included a salad, main entrée and desert. The entrée selections were quite varied and the portions large as well as the price being very reasonable. Our waitress was outgoing and personable. We will definitely go back for another delicious meal!"

  • "We had a wonderful time for my birthday dinner. The waitress was very helpful and nice. The food was very good. Home style Italian."

  • "This is a good, casual spot with a twist on traditional Italian food. They have generous portions with fresh vegetables and good sauces at very reasonable prices. We have been going here occasionally for many years and like it better than the traditional Little Italy spots because it has a more modern, fun vibe and unique dishes."

  • "My husband fell in love with this restaurant when it first opened in the early 90's when he was visiting Baltimore. He has been coming back ever since...and for the last three times, I have had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. We come all the way from Ohio and every time we are in Baltimore, we know this is one restaurant we will always go to while there. The food always is good every time we come and we look forward to the next time we can make the trip and visit again!"

  • "We have always had a great time at Amiccis. Food is consistently good and service has always been attentive and pleasant. Our only issue is that the restaurant has a lot of rooms and some of them are louder than others, so it is a bit of a toss up as to where you get seated. However, it's well worth it!"

  • "Given that the ratings on the internet were high it was a big let down. Food was average at best, service was just ok. We always had to get our waitress's attention for service. The wine list was small. Very loud and you really couldnt order anything off the menu even though they had the ingredients in other foods. Won't be going back."

  • "I went to this restaurant with a large group of friends who were all attending the same conference (this is a long-ish but leisurely walk from the convention center). This was absolutely the perfect place for us. We were seated in a back room with several other large groups. (I rated the noise level energetic because we were all kind of loud groups, all from the same conference, in this back room. It may have been much quieter up front.) The staff were fun and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was incredible. We arrived just as happy hour was ending, as as we waited for our table to be prepped, we ordered wine at the bar--can't beat a great glass of wine for under $4! Perfect place to catch up with old friends."

  • "As always, had a wonderful meal at Amicci's. The veal saltimbocca was outstanding. I must say it was the best veal dish I have ever had at any restaurant. My wife had the ham and peas and pasta and loved it. Enjoyed some wine and ended the meal with a cannoli. MMM good. The service was excellent and you are made to feel at home, like one of the family. And to top it off, the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend Amicci's to the locals and the visitors to Baltimore."

  • "We had a mid afternoon Sunday dinner here. They gave us a nice private table. The waiter named Ben was friendly and offered great service. The appetizers, salads, abc entrees were all terrific. Fresh large portions of Italian dishes. We weren't rushed. It was a very relaxing delicious dinner at a very reasonable price."

  • "The services was outstanding. Our dinner was before theater so we were looking for a good weeknight meal with attentive service so that we would not be late for the performance. Our waiter was very aware of our time restrictions and we were able to have a leisurely dinner with time to spare. The Chicken Marsala was a big hit...a little sweeter than the usual. The salad was fresh, cold and crisp with a light house dressing. A little plain but very refreshing. It was a little disappointing not to have a nice, hot bowl of soup for an appetizer. Soups were not on the regular menu and served only as an occasional special. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience!"

  • "Went for v-day.. which can test the limits of any restaurant. The dining areas are a bit plain and typical old row house, but the seating at and around the bar exhibits a trendy ambiance that could make any quick dinner an intimate and fun event of and in it's own. The bar area was not crowded nor was it loud, but the decor.. the ceiling is covered in lit stars to mimic the night sky and the whole place just seems to glow. Unfortunately, we were seated in the back in an otherwise comparatively plain room. The evening took an upswing when our food was served as it was everything a comfort italian meal should be. Hot, cheesy and full of flavor! Overall, I will visit again on a less trying date and look forward to the visit."

  • "I always enjoy a good meal when visiting Inner Harbor here. The food exceeds any other resturant in Little Italy. The prices are very reasonable."

  • "Amicci's is a crowd pleaser, with a welcoming bar, very reasonable prices, and a good menu of what I consider to be Classic Italian dishes. My only complaint, if it can even be considered a complaint, is that the food arrived very quickly. I wanted a slightly more leisurely dinner. The waitress did not make us feel rushed, though, and we ordered coffee to prolong the night."

  • "We had a late seating so lunch was almost over. The pasta was overdone and the salads were lacking. Wine was good."

  • "This restaurant was soooo busy on Saturday. We had reservations for almost a month and we were seated upstairs, somewhere I'd never been before. It took quite awhile to get our drinks and dinner, but once the staff adjusted for the crowd, things went much smoother. If this had been our first visit, the service would have been a real turnoff but....they were very accommodating and the food was just superb as usual and our party of six got to chat and enjoy the evening."

  • "The service was terrible. Ordered drinks it took a half an hour or so. The server was horrible he blamed the bar for the drinks....but then the was late and after the salad then he brings bread around. When he grated the cheese he abruptly stopped grinding and walked away with out asking if it was enough. The dinning area we were in was upstairs in the way back where we had a great view of the women's bathroom awful. But the worst was the servers reaction to questions was ....."this is a casual place"..."

  • "My whole family has been going to Amicci's since it opened. My parents found if by accident when they were walking around Little Italy and we have been fans ever since. It was a lovely little restaurant with the most amazing food. We have continued through the years to visit Amicci's on special occasions as we don't live in Baltimore. We have been observing the quality of the food go down as the restaurant expanded. It is a reasonable assumption that it is easier to cook for 12 tables than it is for 50 yet it seems as if even the quality of the ingredients used has also been compromised. Our favorite Amicci's treat, the Pane Rotunda, has become a mediocre version of the original. I'm not sure if we will continue to visit."

  • "The restaurant was very quaint and the food was great. Only draw back was the tables were very close to one another (it was also V-day) so we were trying to talk over our noisy neighbors. Service was great and the atmosphere is very welcoming."

  • "The food was fantastic, the service was great, and my date was successful. My date very much enjoyed the Pomegranate martini and I loved the Little Italy Lemonade. The portion sizes were so large, we got boxes for both the main course and the appetizer with no regrets. The garlic bread is always top notch. A friend of mine stated that it was the best garlic bread he had ever eaten and he only got to taste it after I got back and it was cold."

  • "Unremarkable but good Italian basics, reasonable price, friendly ambiance. I had the Luigi: sausage, shrimp and zucchini in a simple marinara with spaghetti. Hearty and delicious, but in no way ambitious. Which is all I was looking for."

  • "Love the bar atmosphere and bartenders. Both made the experience fun, warm and comfortable. The mussels and pizza bread appetizers were great. The dining room ambience is relaxing and also comfortable. Disappointed that soup was not available and the spaghetti alfredo was boring and they don't have fettuccine. Shrimp scampi was delicious. The vegetable gnocchi was good but not gluten-free and the waitress didn't know this. This is unacceptable. I would definitely go back for the bar and appetizers!"

  • "This restaurant is celebrating 23 years of service. We were delighted to see a $19.91 special (the year they started in business). The food was terrific. Many food choices to please even the picky eaters. Several very delicious appetizers. The sangria was yummy. We needed a wheel barrow to haul us out of there--we were truly stuffed. The amount of food and drink was abundant and the cost minimal. The special includes dessert. We have been to this restaurant many times and each time is a delightful experience."
