A word from Amerigo - West End
Amerigo has been a local Nashville favorite for nearly two decades. Lunch and dinner are served daily with a brunch on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, Chef Steven Robilio offers a seasonal menu utilizing fresh, local ingredients, as well as a gluten-free menu with over 15 gluten-free dishes.

  • "Bread was delicious (probably brought in, but I really dont know that). Cheesecake for dessert was also delicious, but do know for a fact that it's made at a bakery and delivered. Eggplant parmagiana left a lot to be desired. Sauce too salty, eggplant slices were way too thin, so that you only tasted salty tomato sauce and breading. Wouldn't go back."

My request for something uncomplicated, but not on the menu, was quickly accepted and delivered with promptness while my wife's spaghetti bolognese was a rare treat for the flavor and the lightness of this version of a cream sauce. I would recommend this restaurant to locals and travelers alike."

  • "We ate here 6/26/2014. All of waitperson's other tables across the room. She was nice but no service unless we waived at her. Second glass of wine ordered but not brought. Chicken piccata not pounded out. Chicken breasts full thickness. No caramelization. Less mushrooms and crab than at other locations. Less lemon flavor, less capers. This is not piccata. What is it? Bland chicken breasts plopped down on a plate of pasta. Just not good. We have eaten at the Memphis and Brentwood locations. They are much better. Do not judge Amerigo's by this restaurant."

  • "Recently went to Amerigos for our anniversary. I have always enjoyed it. This time was different. I had the Veal Parmesan as I usually do. The veal was gritty, not white as it should be and VERY salty. I was disappointed. My wife had the Sirloin and mashed potatoes and it was excellent."

  • "Wrong Dining Selection, was brought to our table to my wife, after appetizer, the manager came and asked my wife if the dinner selection was good, then after my wife politely said yes, he explained "well good, because that's the wrong course plate" my wife ordered chicken stuffed course, and they brought mushrooms entrée. he offered to provide an adjustment on the plate rather that simply removing the price, since it was there error, would be nice for one complimentary meal to return ."

  • "I can understand why people who aren't Italian or who haven't experienced authentic Italian cuisine would give this restaurant anything above one star. I disliked everything they brought out. The mussels were fishy, too salty, and the tomatoes in the broth tasted canned and lukewarm. The goat cheese and walnut salad was decent, but certainly not something anyone couldn't make just as well if not better at home. The lasagna was absolutely atrocious: too rich, appealing to the crowd that requires that everything be smothered under some kind of coagulated cream sauce. There was no depth of flavor in any of the elements, and the pasta was so overcooked it was more like lasagna pudding. For better Italian in this town, try Cafe Nonna."

  • "If you have a brunch menu you should have the product available! Our party of four ordered and then the manager came over and advised three dishes were having to be altered as they were out of items. No croissants for the breakfast paninis and the confit chicken pizza would have a substation of grilled chicken. While he was accommodating and apologetic I was disappointed as these items should not be on the menu or of course we should have been notified when ordering. Considering a very limited bruch menu they should have all ingredients on hand or get out of the brunch business. I initially tried to order potatoes on the side with French toast and was advised no change allowed. I feel most prefer a side with French toast. Tried pizza. "

Our food order (2 frittatas and 1 lasagna) took an extremely long time and we noticed that other tables (which had been seated after us) were being served before us. The manager came over and apologized and told us that the "egg station" was exceptionally busy. Then our waiter came over and assumed that the manager had told us the truth, which was that our frittata orders had been lost. They made no effort to appease us with a complimentary appetizer or dessert and did not reduce the final bill."

  • "Amerigo's is consistent and they try new things without being pretentious. Best of both worlds! The staff is always nice and talkative and the exact right amount of attentive. I tried the new Confi Chicken Pizza. Yum! They have changed up the crust (not to recently) but it is a bit thicker to support the toppings and it was a good idea. There is always a great oldie but goodie on the menu and something new. Nothing is ever bad here."
