We reserved a table at Amerigo's on a recent Friday night and entertained friends from out of town. Everything was perfect! The atmosphere was bustling, upbeat and cozy. Our server was extremely professional and helpful. My grilled salmon was amazing. The whole experience was an overall improvement from the Amerigo's of years past. The menu is better and the service is smoother. We will return!

Service was pretty good. I had a Ribeye. It was not a good cut. More fatty than even a Ribeye should be. The Asiago potatoes were very dry. My wife had chicken and pasta that was much better than my steak. I suppose if you are at an Italian theme restaurant, you should order Italian. There were tiny fruit flies landing on us, and the table. Not very good for ambiance. It was "okay" overall, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

I always visit this restaurant when in Nashville for the early bird specials. Great deals on food and wine from 4-6PM. Consistently good service, and it's a place where a single person can dine comfortably. Lovely décor, relaxing atmosphere. White tablecloth dining at half the price.

When visitors come to town, this is where they--and I--always want to go. We've never been disappointed, never had a bad meal and always enjoy ourselves tremendously when we eat here. We all have our special favorites among the menu choices, but also like to try something new. I'm especially fond of the local farm-sourced menu, as are some of my guests. Also like the "new" menu arrangement, with everything available to look at (gluten-free, local farm, early-bird choices) in one place.

Between the four of us, we had trout, salmon, scallops, and a pasta dish. The food was prepared just like we asked and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The noise level was a little loud because of several large parties, but we could still hear each other talk!

There was so much noise in the room with dishes clanking and people talking over the noise that the whole time was so loud that no conversation could be conducted. I did not feel like screaming at my lunch partners. The food was great tasting and the portions were large. The service was also very good. I made a reservation for lunch and I am glad that I did as the place was packed. My special requests for the table were met and I was very grateful for that.

They have an excellent menu - and they can prepare it well. Interesting wine menu. Prices are very correct. Probably best restaurant in the neighborhood. Fast service. Quality is quite constant. Sometimes they hit the sweet spot (e.g. their salmon on cedarwood and the Thursday special), but sometimes they miss the mark completely (e.g. tiramisu? (just cake with khuala), veal marsala (no marsala (?), just red sauce), undercooked veggies, use of canned instead of fresh fruit).

Bread was delicious (probably brought in, but I really dont know that). Cheesecake for dessert was also delicious, but do know for a fact that it's made at a bakery and delivered. Eggplant parmagiana left a lot to be desired. Sauce too salty, eggplant slices were way too thin, so that you only tasted salty tomato sauce and breading. Wouldn't go back.

Our server was perfect. She anticipated our needs without constant checking. The bread and olive oil with spices served while we awaited our dinner was unique and heavenly. The tomatoes mozzarella salad was really delectable and a larger than expected serving. The prices were so great for a couple like us with 5 daughters trying to get away for a romantic dinner in a new city.

Todays traveler runs across a multitude of so called "Italian" restaurants, most below average when it comes to the quality of the chef's fare. This visit was not the case. My request for something uncomplicated, but not on the menu, was quickly accepted and delivered with promptness while my wife's spaghetti bolognese was a rare treat for the flavor and the lightness of this version of a cream sauce. I would recommend this restaurant to locals and travelers alike.

We ate here 6/26/2014. All of waitperson's other tables across the room. She was nice but no service unless we waived at her. Second glass of wine ordered but not brought. Chicken piccata not pounded out. Chicken breasts full thickness. No caramelization. Less mushrooms and crab than at other locations. Less lemon flavor, less capers. This is not piccata. What is it? Bland chicken breasts plopped down on a plate of pasta. Just not good. We have eaten at the Memphis and Brentwood locations. They are much better. Do not judge Amerigo's by this restaurant.

Recently went to Amerigos for our anniversary. I have always enjoyed it. This time was different. I had the Veal Parmesan as I usually do. The veal was gritty, not white as it should be and VERY salty. I was disappointed. My wife had the Sirloin and mashed potatoes and it was excellent.

Wrong Dining Selection, was brought to our table to my wife, after appetizer, the manager came and asked my wife if the dinner selection was good, then after my wife politely said yes, he explained "well good, because that's the wrong course plate" my wife ordered chicken stuffed course, and they brought mushrooms entrée. he offered to provide an adjustment on the plate rather that simply removing the price, since it was there error, would be nice for one complimentary meal to return .
