American Flatbread Tribeca HearthGreat PizzasOur first experience with American Flatbread was during a visit to Burlington, Vermont. I was pleased to learn a NY branch had opened. The pizzas on offer are diverse with interesting combinations. The salads are also top notch. Evrything is very fresh. Although I don't get the extensive (and often expensive) wine list—maybe the high roller Tribeca denizens don't find it pricey—the beer list is just as extensive and reasonably priced. This would be a great place for a large group. I live in Park Slope and Ithink this place blows the precious Franny's away on price. I'd rather make the trip to Tribeca.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was delicious, theThe food was delicious, the service was fantastic and their beer menu had something for my entire group!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGood experience!Had a nice easy dinner. Wait staff was attentive but not constantly at the table. If you are in a hurry you should let tm know, but we liked that we weren't rushed through dinner.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious thin-crust pizza and beerWe had the Medicine Wheel pizza, which is a basic pizza with homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella and other cheeses. We added heirloom cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. It was delicious! The pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven. Several beers on draft are available. We checked in on foursquare and there was even an offer for Vermont beer. Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We would definitely go back.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is amazing. JustThe food is amazing. Just as good as the flagship store in Vermont. Better than pizza in little Italy, or anywhere some might say. On top of it, it's all organic, farm to table and GMO-free! There is no better place for pizza, period.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for groups and parties!I had a 10-person birthday gathering for my husband and the staff was SENSATIONAL. Our guests had never been to a Flatbread before and they were all impressed. We split 5 flatbreads between the group and the favorite was the Pear Bread. I recommend for both a dinner for two, or a large group. Great job! It really was a pleasure.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a group of 11 and AmericanWe had a group of 11 and American Flatbread was so accommodating and delightful. Spending most Saturday nights there after a day of skiing at Sugrabush. That being said... the food was as expected... wonderful...3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMIt is a fun way to put a twistIt is a fun way to put a twist on a pizza night and taste topppings you wouldn't normally find on a pizza/flatbread. We used to live in Burlington, Vermont, and frequented the Burlington Hearth quite often. The Tribeca Heart has a more NYC feel, but was equally as great and enjoyable. It is dark and cozy, and perfect for a cold winter's night. (Although, I enjoy flatbread so much I would visit every season of the year, not just winter.) The evolution salad is also one of my favorite salads on earth. It is a dinner that is sure to please any pallet and a fun dining experience. Make sure you go half and half on your flatbread, too. It is a great way to try more of their innovative flavors.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
