"My sister and I went to Vuz for dinner last Friday night. We had a 7pm reservation, and when we got there, the place was practically empty, which surprised us. We left at around 8:30, and it hadn't filled up much. The bar seemed a little busier, and they had live music (which didn't sound great). The service was excellent, but then again, it was so slow that the waitstaff outnumbered us. The decor is hip and attractive, the view of the valley incredible. It was too cold to eat outside, but it must be great in the warmer weather. My sister had the lamb. The portion was outstanding, and it was cooked well. I had the paella style risotto, which was good, but watery and not nearly as flavorful as I expected. Overall fine, but forgettable."

"We had a party of 14 and no problem with getting a reservation and no problem with seating. The steaks that a few of us had were a little (kind of a lot) fatty. Could have just been because they were ribeyes but...they could also have found some less fatty. The flavors were awesome! I would recommend at least trying it yourself at least once. It's a little pricey but very pretty restaurant and would love to go back and sit on the patio."

"Menu design is pretty much a mess and the dishes are mediocre at best. For all the money put into the building, it's a shame they didn't invest similarly in chef and kitchen talent but clearly they didn't. Huge miss!"

"We walked into the restaurant and immediately loved the place! The ambiance was beautiful and classy. The whole place was very well done with lighting and decor. We were in a group of 9 people, service was great until our server realized we were splitting entrees. His whole demeanor changed and he was very unprofessional. He practically dissappered once we received our food. I got the salmon, which was somewhat fishy. The wine list was fairly standard...just typical wines that are overpriced. We didn't even bother with dessert. When we asked our server to split our check he responded as if we were asking him for a lung. He was so put out that we wanted to be on seperate checks. I won't be returning, the ambiance is the only thing worthwhile"
