If you can not take Spicy food, this is not the place for you. Everything on the menu is spicy. Even if the menu does not list an item as spicy, it is still spicy. For a person that can take spicy food, the food is great. We stated maybe the restaurant was not for us. Waiter assured us they could make it not spicy. The waiter stated several dishes were not spicy. Even the menu said it was not spicy. But it was spicy. We found Jalapenos on both the Salmon and the Tuna. There were red chili pepper flakes on the Samosa. Keep in mind, we specifically asked that the food have no spicy ingredients. They assured us that there was not. However, The food proved otherwise. The Brussels Sprouts were good and not spicy. Only dish we could eat.

We were looking for a place to go after the theater, so we got a 10:15 reservation. When we entered, the sound level was at "roar," and we could barely hear each other unless we yelled. That said, we had a very good experience. The wait staff was very attentive, the drinks were refreshing, and the food was great! We have been looking for a good later-night place, and we will be back for lunch and early dinner as well. Best good-food find in months!

We arrived at 830pm and there was reversed happy hour at 9pm. We saw all the waiters giving their tables he happy hour menu. When we asked our waitress if there was one she said yes, so we asked for the menu and she said there was none. This made no sense when all the other tables around us had one. She clearly didn't want to provide us with one and should've also informed us instead of us asking.

Most people would drive past this restaurant because it is in a very secluded area in a very small location. The interior is really nice and is a great place to bring a date. However, I feel like their seats in the restaurant could be better and a little more comfortable. The food is ok at best. I was expecting a lot more from a fusion restaurant like this one. My favorite dishes out of everything we ordered were the Tiger Prawns and the Fried Rice.

We celebrating my wifes' birthday here with family. Table of 6. The hostess remembered us from a past visit and was very helpful with the wine selections and food combinations. The food was wonderful as usual. Very creative and tastey. I think we had almost every item on the menu. The concept is small plates that you shared which made for a fun evening. We each tasted some of the dishes and had our favorites. Mine was the Gangnam Ribs while my wife loves the Bok Choy and the prawn. All the dishes were great and came out with much wait. Great Experience!

Ambrosia serves a wide array of small, shareable plates combining fresh ingredients and creative imagination. The service is neither too frequent nor too inattentive. They strike that perfect balance and that is a skill. Be sure to try one of their specialty cocktails. Their bartenders are skilled at what they do. I have frequented Ambrosia several times. The staff is always courteous and friendly and greet you with a genuine smile. Enjoy!

This hidden dining treasure is well off the beaten path and every 'bite' worth the effort. The restaurant is on the small side but the old building is cozy and relaxing. Their wine list is well thought out and has a great depth choices from around the world. The mixed drinks are creative and tasty. Few places outside New Orleans know how to serve a genuine Sazerac. The fare is locally sourced with Asian flare served tapas style. Order several plates to share-mushroom flatbread, Thai chicken flatbread, steak kabobs, tiger prawns, curry potato wedges, wasabi pork dumplings, etc. Every bite is a delight. Last but not least, the service was wonderful. Compliments to Natalie for her warm, fun, engaging, friendly, attentive, and caring spirit.

Truly enjoyed with the shifted merging of different cultures in food in creating a very unusual menu. The food tasting with the small plates was excellent for dining that evening. The spicing was although hot very flavorful and emerging of different nationalities of food created a dining experience that I really enjoyed. Although there were large groups tables and the noise level was a little high and creating a discussion amongst two people was a little difficult and strange overall get dining experience was enjoyed by both in my party very much.

EVERYTHING!, we had was amazing, from the Sazerac drink, to the thai chicken flatbread, Korean wings, the tuesday steak night special, and the fantastic ice cream dish. Rarely do you go to a restaurant, when there is absolutely NOTHING to complain about. We will definitely be going back sometime next week to see if the chef and the food was a fluke :-) On top of that, the scenery in the little restaurant is what drew me to the place. We went for my wife's birthday and I'm contemplating having my birthday dinner there next month as well. Ambrosia is surely a hidden Houston treat!

We have been going to Ambrosia since it opened and what is most impressive is that it is always exceptional. The service and the quality of the food is consistent and everyone we take says the same thing each time a new plate comes out: "Oh my God, this is amazing." While the menu is on the smaller side, there is nothing that I wouldn't order. Compare that to other places where the menu is pages long and full of items that you would never order, and then add in the ambiance of the restaurant itself and you have what has become one of our favorite restaurants.

Ambrosia was a new restaurant for my husband and me. The food was delicious. The drink menu was eclectic and fun. There were many spicy dishes - which we LOVE - but when they say spicy, it is not mild. I am personally a huge fan of restaurants who are not afraid to be SPICY, but if you are so-so with spice, there are fewer options. We will DEFINITELY be eating here again.

The food was alright. We had the chicken samosa which was good but what fried food isn't good? Also had the Korean ribs which was tough, the Prawns was very over powering with a hundred flavors, there was 4 pieces to the order which we didn't even care to finish. The Brussel sprouts was delicious but I really don't think you can go wrong with Brussel sprouts, and last was the mushroom flat bread which was also good. This was my second time here and I felt that I should give it a second chance before ruling it out completely. I definitely was disappointed and which I chose a different venue for dinner. Place is very hip and trendy and that was all it was. Don't expect to have a romantic dinner because it's very loud inside the restaurant.

We had lamb chops, mushroom flatbread, brussel sprouts, chicken curry dish and ginger flavored kulfi for dessert. A house pinot was excellent in combination. Was about right for three persons. Great food. Very noisy with mildly uncomfortable chairs. Why can't Houston figure out how to dampen restaurant noise?!! Food was good enough to warrant return.
