The food was wonderful but the selection so limited and unlike most Sunday brunches, where the high fixed price includes at least one glass of champagne, this restaurant does not. They did not make us feel rushed. So, except for that disappointment, the overall experience was lovely and the walk around the gardens afterwards was peaceful and beautiful. We had the halibut and lamb 2 ways, which was part of a 3 course dining menu. Both were cooked perfectly and were excellent main courses. Service was over the top---it should be like this everywhere!!! The food was outstanding (steak salad---lots of steak) and the prices were no more than other places around San Diego--in fact, I'd say "reasonable." I don't think there is a anywhere around with a view like this or a building so stunning. It feels like we were plopped right into Italy! Just gorgeous.
