Amarone Kitchen & Wine
We thought we were back in Italy!Best Italian food since I was in Tuscany. Authentic and delicious. The burrata with prosciutto and arugula was delicious and rich. Two of us had the risotto with seafood with clams and chunky pieces of shrimp and calamari. It was perfectly prepared. Our companion had the linguini with clams and loved it as well. For dessert we shared a flourless chocolate cake which was lovely. The owner gave us samples of wine before we chose a bottle of wonderful Italian white. I cannot wait to go back again!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThe bestsFamily run with great concern and dedication to provide every possible accomendation to us as dinners .Dr. S.Lane4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMLike being in ItalyThis is a really lovely restaurant. I travel to Italy quite frequently and I felt as though I had gone back. While it is quaint, it is romantic. Food wasn't too expensive but extremely delicious. Everything was handmade and filling. I would make a reservation.2/16/2013 12:00:00 AMAmaroneIt is a find. Charming, almost European-like.
The staff was attentive asking numerous times if everything was good. Water glasses filled without asking.
There were two of us, so shortly after being seated, a small tray of items, olives, cheese,,, arrived...two of each. That was a bit skimpy since each one was so tiny.
Good wine list.
Food was presented beautifully. Beef was excellent, lamb was quite tough.
If we understood our waiter correctly, the dessert was only a tray of typical Italian American finger items.
Not appealing when tiramisu was desired.2/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
