Amada - RevelGreat dining while at the RevelWe enjoyed our evening dining at Amada's restaurant. The Tapas was fantastic. We began with a big pitcher of Red Sangria, dotted with tons of diced fruit. Our dining began with the Artisanal spanish olives and delicious garlic, paprika, Chorizo. Then a long selection of food including Warm fava & lima bean salad, idiazabal , the flatbread loaded with confit artichoke, wild mushrooms, black truffles, manchego, Bacalao - which is Black cod, celery root, brussels sprouts, truffle chicken jus, and filet mignon. The lamb meatballs were not a favorite.... Dessert was incredible -warm spanish donuts with sherbet. Yummy meal- not over the top expensive, about $80 pp. with tip.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat experienceWe had a 7pm reservation on a Saturday night. We were running late and they held our reservation until we got there at 7:25. Great table with a view of the ocean from one side. Only better seat would have been up against the window/wall with both sides having a view. We missed it by a few minutes.
I'm a vegetarian and there was a great selection for me, as well as for my very much non-vegetarian husband. The service was good. Slow to be greeted at table, but better thereafter.
Food came out in well-timed waves, as tapas should. It was delicious. Everything I had, which included the flash-friend peppers (amazing, if you appreciate peppers like we do) and the empanada (highly-recommend). Sangria was okay.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThe atmosphere was relaxedThe atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable we were not rushed. The service was excellent and the waiter was friendly and very helpful explaining the dishes and making wonderful recommendations for choices. The waiter recommended a salad dish which was spot on for our flavor preferences. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone whether celebrating a special occasion, experimenting with a new food experience or just a casual night out. Surprisingly good prices for the fine food quality.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMJust SuperbOur favorite spot just seems to be getting even better. The beautiful room, spectacular food and wonderful service are still there but there are new menu items that we just love. The new version of an old friend, the gazpacho soup, must be tried to be believed. There are several roast vegetable dishes that are indescribably delicious and, this time we had the prawns to accompany them. Just marvelous. Amada, our very favorite restaurant.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Visit Yet!!!I have been to Amada numerous occasions, this was by far the best. Loved it all!6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNoiseAlthough I LOVED the food as I have before, I must say it was REALLY noisy on this last visit and from what our server said patrons should expect that on Saturday nights after 9.... just an FYI for someone who is trying to speak to a date.... pick another place :) ... if you don't care to be heard then it was PERFECT6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMsimply fantastic from topsimply fantastic from top to bottom. The tapas were delicious and very good presentation. Our
waiter was very good and attentive and made a good wine suggestion when we asked.
The spinach salad Tapa was very good with walnuts and figs except that we felt the Serrano ham wrapped around the salad
was a bit too salty to compliment the salad Love Serrano ham but this one was too salty for our taste.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful experience!!We always enjoy going to Amada. The food is exquisite, we've managed to get the same great waiter every time we've gone, and he is fantastic. He never rushes us, and takes his time explaining the answers to our questions, even when the restaurant is crowded. Amada has a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and is right above the Atlantic City boardwalk. Highly recommend it!5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMabsolutely beautiful viewabsolutely beautiful view of the water, good service, unique food that was prepared well. Food-delicious, service- wonderful,
Setting- great especially having fireworks right out of the window!!
Great job Amada!!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMBest tapas everThis was possibly my 10th dining experience here and we loved it as much as our 1st time. We thoroughly enjoyed the garbanzos with spinach and paprika - simple but very tasty. The crispy fish topped with a perfectly cooked fried egg was a great repeat dish and the calamari, scallop and clams over vermicelli was a new and scrumptious addition. We ended with the sample cheese plate, then the trio of raspberry/rhubarb sorbet and banana malt sorbet - a perfect finale! Top this off with a great Tempranillo Rioja wine and excellent service, it was another great night.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMPhenomenalRequired dining. You will not regret it. Favorites - Pulpo a la gallega. Bunuelo for dessert.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Tasting MenuWe ordered the $75(pp) tasting menu for the table. It was outstanding. Each dish (and there were a lot of them) was more delicious than the next. Definitely worth the money!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMNo finer restaurantAmada is our first choice for fine dining. A beautiful room with spectacular views of the ocean, and, just fabulous food served by friendly and attentive waiters. Amada is clearly the finest venue in Atlantic City, and, we have tried thrm all. Try Amada, for brunch, lunch, or dinner, and it shall be your first choice too.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMTreasure in ACGreat food, service! Restaurant is beautiful with a perfect view of the ocean. We got to meet Jose Garces who was so nice. We took pictures with him. I will be back on my next visit to Revel.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were very impressed. IWe were very impressed. I am a former chef and specialized in Mediterranean cuisine. Everything was great.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMOrdered the Spanish Octopus,Ordered the Spanish Octopus, Confit artichoke and wild mushroom flat bread, garlic shrimp, foie gras and olive oil cake dessert. The service was amazing from the beginning even when it came to "preferred seating". Wait staff was amazing and they kept the ebb and flow of food at a perfect pace. The food was all delicious even though i was slightly disappointed with the Foie Gras dish. I think it was because I just didn't love the combination of flavors but my boyfriend loved it and finished the whole thing. The stars of the night were definitely the flat bread and the olive oil cake. Unfortunately the wine list was more expensive than anticipated so we focused on getting more for our monies worth on the food. Can't wait to go back.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAlberto was the best serverAlberto was the best server we have ever had! I dont care for seafood and the pan seared Octopus was absolutely amazing...5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectionSimply amazing; delightful, delicious, outstanding....best experience I have ever had; especially the service5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazingOne of the best dining experiences I had! Bacon wrapped figs are to die for. I am craving them already.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for brunch too !!!Not since the hey day of LaCroix and it's award winning brunch have we enjoyed ourselves as much as we did for brunch at Amada. This IS our favorite restaurant and our first bunch was just like our luncheon and dinner experiences, just superb. Same wonderful staff, same spectacular room, same incredible views, but a special brunch menu. You just will not find better food than at Amada and brunch was no exception. A new recipe gazpacho, which was incredible and just a wildly delicious eggs Benedict and the best waffles we have ever eaten, a wonderful recipe that cannt be missed. Amada, for all your dining experiences.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFINALLY!I have been waiting for a few years to eat at one of Jose Garces's restaurants and I surprised my wife this past weekend to celebrate her graduation from college and her birthday. There was nothing that we didn't like. The food was some of the best we have had, and the service was the best service at any restaurant we have been to. It is definitely the best place to eat that we have been to and can't wait to try another one of the great Jose Garces.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved it!Highly recommend Amada at Revel!! The best dining experience we've ever had at AC casinos! Not only AWESOME food, but also cozy, comfortable, hip and fun. A great experience...we will definitely be back!!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMSunday looking for something to doRainy Sunday morning. What shall we do today? Had a gift card from our son...they went to Amada in Philly the night they got engaged..they wanted to share a special time. ...so we were looking for a special experience. Loved, loved, loved our lunch at Amada in Revel. Great atmosphere, unbelievably awesome food, fun and very comfortable..GREAT service. Highly recommend and will definitely go back!!!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMLovelyThis was a lovely restaurant. Unfortunately, my reservation was rather late and I ate a little before arriving at the restaurant. I couldn't enjoy my meal fully because of that. What I did eat was pretty yummy! The restaurant was pretty and it's nice that it overlooks the ocean. I wish I had had a table right by the window.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious!I went with 5 other girls for a bachelorette party, we ordered the small plate tasting menu and it was fantastic! Highly recommend it!!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMPaella was awesomeIf you like tapas, you'll love Amada. The paella was outstanding. YUM. Fun atmosphere, etc.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAmada Revel ACHaving already dined at Amada in Philadelphia...my husband and I knew the food would be delicious! We were not disappointed. A wonderful wine selection too. Perfectly paired with our cheese plate, spanish olives, grilled octopus and crab stuffed peppers. Every bite scrumptious. It's a great romantic place to go. We were celebrating our 10-year anniversary that weekend. Will definitely go back.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place has it all. GreatThis place has it all. Great food, great adventurous drinks while relaxing watching the waves roll in on the beach from your lofty perch.
Varied and very tasty menu of tapas that takes a while to read. No fear, the waitress simplified the process and made perfect recommendations. Totally enjoyable.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMsharingserve as it comes encourages sharing a nice food experience5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMKnow about tapasWe loved the food, the ocean view and the special treat, BUT we felt we got a little food for the money spent. I can call tapas the hors d'oeuvres, then go and eat a real dinner!5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience all around! My wife and I have been to most restaurants in the Revel. Amada is another great place. The food, service, and ocean views were all amazing. I guess the only thing that would have made our experience better would have been enhanced descriptions of the menu items. We are Tapas newbies so we had to ask the waiter to describe just about everything that sounded interesting. Good thing it was a Tuesday night! All-in-all it was a great experience and one that we can't wait to do again.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food, and serviceFor a unforgettable time, Amada serves the finest food accompanied by an impeccable service, bring your loved ones and experience a good time .5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers Day DelightA great time was had by all. The food, service and ambiance were fabulous. The Bloody Mary's were the best. The view, to die for.
A great occasion for the best women in the world. I was proud to select Amada as our Brunch destination on Mothers Day. We are still talking about the Eggs Benedict. We can't wait to go back.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious! The food was extraordinary, as is typical of a Garces establishment. The sharing of a variety of small plates made for a wonderful Mother's Day celebration. The bass was especially good! My only complaint was that the music was far too loud and intrusive. Instead of being background ambiance, it detracted from the otherwise fine dining experience.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent FoodThe food was excellent. The service was great with friendly staff - always smiling. The view and the scenery was nice too as it was sunny outside and we sat by the windows. The seating area was clean. I have been to all Jose Garces's restaurant in Philly which I will also recommend as the restaurants go with their own theme and Amada in Atlantic City doesn't disappoint. I would recommend and most likely be going to this restaurant again!!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Mother's Day DinnerI dined at Amada with my children for Mother's Day and they are still asking to go back! We loved everything, but especially sharing the paella. Bravo!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTop billing in ACLove this place, try the fig salad! The "tie me up tie me down" is memorable.
Casino atmosphere is brilliant.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat findI took my husband here for his birthday & we had a really nice time. The food was wonderful and our waiter was very friendly & helpful with the menu and recommended dishes. Our 1st round/course came out really quickly, much to our surprise, but as I said before, the food was great. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that although our 1st course came out quickly, things seemed to slow down majorly after that. In fact, because we had a show to catch and due to just how much things slowed, we weren't able to get dessert and we had to rush out. It was our first time, but not our last. The great things about the place outshined our one problem, enough anyway, to warrant another try!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AM
