Amada is another great place. The food, service, and ocean views were all amazing. I guess the only thing that would have made our experience better would have been enhanced descriptions of the menu items. We are Tapas newbies so we had to ask the waiter to describe just about everything that sounded interesting. Good thing it was a Tuesday night! The view and the scenery was nice too as it was sunny outside and we sat by the windows. The seating area was clean. I have been to all Jose Garces's restaurant in Philly which I will also recommend as the restaurants go with their own theme and Amada in Atlantic City doesn't disappoint. The sharing of a variety of small plates made for a wonderful Mother's Day celebration. The bass was especially good! My only complaint was that the music was far too loud and intrusive. The food was wonderful and our waiter was very friendly & helpful with the menu and recommended dishes. Our 1st round/course came out really quickly, much to our surprise, but as I said before, the food was great. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that although our 1st course came out quickly, things seemed to slow down majorly after that. In fact, because we had a show to catch and due to just how much things slowed, we weren't able to get dessert and we had to rush out. It was our first time, but not our last. A variety of seating options, ours was semi-private. The food is amazing! We were surprised to be given a small stool to sit on in the semi-private alcove where we were seated. They were comfortable enough and made for expandable private dining. The service is excellent. The tapas come out quickly so order a couple then wait to order more. It's easy to over order. The octopus and squid were my favorites. The drink menu is innovative. The food was absolutely amazing, we loved the Tapas style and tried quite an assortment of items. The wait staff was not only extremely knowledgeable in everything on the menu, but helpful with suggestions and listened to what our interests were and made recommendations based on our likes.
The servers explained everything they brought out.

With a panoramic view of the ocean, we enjoyed an endless abundance of tasty and creative small dishes from olives to garlic shrimp to artesian cheeses to perfectly cooked beef. We opted for the chef's selection with wine pairing and just let the dishes come...three of four dishes per course. Perfect dinner. Educated, attentive service. Go hungry. I have never eatten pork that delicious. Their drinks were equally as good. Our waiter was so friend and spot in with his recommendations. Only negative is that be was so busy he only asked us if we wanted a drink once. For an hour dinner, we would have had multiple drinks. The place is quite beautiful and if you can get in one of the birdcage booths by the windows you cannot beat the view. Overall a good selection of tapas with a decent price range. Drinks were well made and the service was very good. All dishes were very good. We split 7 among the four of us and left satisfied. The decor is beautiful, service lovely and quick, and the food was to die for. The night turned out to be great still. Comparable to New York City restaurants, with the added benefit of an ocean view. The staff was very attentive. We enjoyed our first experience at this particular location, we enjoyed our dinner so much we went back on Saturday for brunch. A quick call to our favorite spot, Amada, led to another brilliant meal and a saved evening. Amada is our special place and has everything. It is very well managed and from the moment you approach the hostess desk you shall know you are in good hands. The room is just beautiful, the view spectacular, the wait staff is the finest we have encountered anywhere, and it all adds to to an exciting and memorable experience. We had the Chef's tasting menu (expensive version) and it was well worth it. Great recommendation. The only negative aspect that bothers me each and every time I visit happens to be the greeters - hostest. There always seems to be a bit of a negative edge to them. The mushroom risotto is outstanding, as are the fried hot peppers. The Jamon Iberico is top quality, properly cut and properly served. The Queso Manchego is properly aged, which is hard to come by in the USA. Our strip steak was cooked perfectly, and was a nice cut of meat. The wine list includes Ribera Del Duero wines, which are superb!
