Altitude Restaurant - Hyatt Regency DenverMother's DayThe made-to-order omelettes, prime rib and salmon were wonderful, however the price was much too high for a brunch. $125 for just the food for 3, plus mimosas on "special" for $8 each adds up to over $300 with a 15% gratuity. Next time I'll ask about the price. We've eaten there pre-theatre before and don't recall it being nearly as spendy. The "ambience" was not worth near the price this time.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent pre-theater choice.Excellent pre-theater choice. The buffet choice allowed us to set the dinner pace and not stress about curtain call4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed our evening at Altitude.Enjoyed our evening at Altitude. Our server was very pleasant and took care of us very well. Dishes were interestingly prepared but there could be a little more variety in the offerings. We were sort of captive at the hotel due to a snowy, messy night and didn't quite find what fit us that night on the menu. What we chose was fine but expected more options in a hotel restaurant.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster Sunday Brunch was fabulous!Easter Sunday Brunch was fabulous! We will be back for other occasions.
Thank you. The salad and other choices on the lunch buffet were nothing short of wonderful and I had terrific service.
One suggestion - reduce the amount of oil on the grilled vegetables - some were so saturated they were unappetizing.
My waiter was terrific - I went to the manager to let him know that his employee really added to the positive experience.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
