Alpine RestaurantNice spot for European Ethnic FoodBeing of German decent, we decided to try The Alpine when my Mom was in town, who is famous for her cooking and knows German food! Being a soup connoisseur, she was immediately drawn to the sauerkraut soup. It was outstanding and she was telling everyone about it, as she had never heard of it before. I had the goulash which was terrific, a little spicy just the way I like it. The dumplings were more like bread, but very tasty. Next time I want to try the red sauerkraut. The potato pancakes were huge, filled the plate in fact. We were disappointed that they didn't have the apple strudel as the web site suggested, so call ahead, maybe they will make them if out. The staff was very police and helpful. A nice evening we hope to repeat soon!6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience!I dined at Alpine with 3 co-workers had a great time.
