The only I was not excited about was my table,which was right at the door way. There was to much traffic for my liking, but the place was very busy and it appeared the table I was sat at was the only table left at this time. We went in for lunch and were surprised at how busy it was considering the location. Our server was very attentive & professional. We wanted to take our time & didn't feel pressured at all.
We started with the Ahi Tuna Tartar and loved it! My only criticism would be that they could use a few more of the chips to go along with it, but the flavor was amazing! I enjoyed the beet and goat cheese salad ... very scrumptious, though I've never before eaten goat cheese in this form ... it was like a foam. Different, but tasty. My companion had the Fish & Chips (with extra housemade ketchup!) and enjoyed it a great deal.

The food has always been great and the service outstanding. Our last visit certainly did measure up! We had the pork and the short rib for entrees and spring rolls for appetizer. The circular, white leather booth was cozy and comfortable. The food was delicious! I had the beet salad and the duck. My husband had the truffle gnocchi and the lamb. We pretty much shared everything and it was all wonderful! The staff was excellent. They took very good care of us, yet we never felt like they were hovering. The appetizer scallops were very good in a pistachio crust but who wants to pay $20 for 2 scallops. 4 would have been a lot better value. The Marlin was excellent.
The waiter was great. We were humming over a single glass vs a bottle and he suggested we buy a bottle and take the rest home...great idea. He even took the half empty bottle away without us having to ask. This was the first restaurant that either of us have been to where they actually took the time to decant the wine.

I have always picked this spot to host clients since the ambience is great, it is private enough to have a business conversation and feels like it would be more expensive that it actually is. My visit this time wasn't my favourite, however that was likely my fault as I ordered something with tomatoes in it and I don't care of tomatoes. Dessert was delicious! We've always enjoyed it but i think this was our favorite food experience yet! I had the the lamb which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. My husband had the pork tenderloin...what a perfect dish. The pork was beautifully cooked and all the flavors of this dish couldn't have been more perfectly balanced. We were off to Cirque, but left ourselves sufficient time so as not to be rushed. (We needed to arrive early and that 's the time they had available!) We enjoyed the "newish" menu and the attention we received from our server. A great way to start our evening out.

The service was prompt and attentive, the food excellent, however, the Pheasant was a touch stringy and tasted domestic, the Crab fish dish, on the other hand, gorgeous.
lovely wine selection, warm and inviting atmosphere. I'd return without hesitation.

We enjoyed the pink champagne and shared several of your starters so we could try a little bit of everything and it was excellent. We sat in the beautiful white curved booth, and the only small problem was that there was a very loud talker beside us and with the low back of the bench it felt as if we were sitting at their table and conversation.
