Stumbled upon Allison 18 and it was perfect. Ample room to spread out and go over business. Staff was attentive but not overbearing. And the food was superb. My colleague had the burger and couldn't stop raving about it. I had the butter-poached salmon and it was truly exceptional. We had a corner banquette, which was delightful. Service is friendly and knowledgable. Grilled octopus was delicious, as was the rabbit ragu. The NYT describes it as a restaurant for adults.
