Great comfort food in the winter, great views, outdoor dining, and wonderful food in the summer. I had striped bass on this visit and it was outstanding. French onion soup was rich and wonderful for a cold winter night. Our other dish was risotto with grilled shrimp outstanding. They also have some of the best ice cream you will ever have.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMI had the organic chickenI had the organic chicken and it was very good. It was served with garlic polenta to die for it was delicious. Had calamari that was excellent . My partner had the skirt steak very good. The only thing that was not so good was the dandelion side dish and it also came with my meal . It was too chewy . You could chew it for a hour and it was tough. I don't know if they chopped it that would help., I wouldn't order that again. The food is always well prepared, a nice wine list, and the service is always professional and friendly. We prefer a quieter setting so when it's just us two we try for a later reservation.
