Aliano's RistoranteGood Food, Service, AmbienceWe ate lunch recently at Aliano's Ristorante, in downtown Batavia, IL. We were seated promptly in the open and attractive dining room, and our friendly and informative waiter brought us the menus, explained the specials, answered questions, and checked back with us throughout the meal. The main course--some had pasta, some sandwiches--was delicious and well-prepared, and we gave into temptation and ordered from their interesting dessert menu. We did not order alcoholic drinks, but the wine list seemed quite varied. The food was delicious, they had outdoor seating (although it was a bit too nippy that night ), the atmosphere was nice, there was live music in the bar, and they had this fabulous magician who went from table to table entertaining ! He involved the whole audience and kids liked it too. the food was great, very ample size portions. The waiter was friendly and very accomodating. He sang a lot of Dean Martin and Tony Bennett songs. A Cher performer was next and I can't recall the last performer.
