We arrived 1 hour before the buffet ended and the restaurant was almost empty since the lunch crowd was pretty much gone. We dined on the last on the last of the lasagna, the pizza, etc. It was all delicious !!! They have the best pizza crust and the red sauces are fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant. The price for this buffet was so reasonable for a high caliber restaurant like this one.

The atmosphere at Aliano's makes you feel very comfortable the outside seating looked inviting but we enjoyed staying in the restaurant. Our waiter was very knowledgealble, service was impecable and he was very much in tune to our wishes. Their menu has a wide variety and some choices you would expect. I would highly recommend the Chicken Marsala the flavor and presentation were perfect. The apple dessert was wonderful. I would probably skip the whipped cream as the ice cream on top was enough for me.

1st time there and I really enjoyed it. It was my wife and I that went in. Originally I was going to order off regular menu, but after seeing variety of buffet, I went with buffet. Great selection and high quality food. My favorites were pizza, lasagna, and chicken breast . White Sangria was also pretty good.

Had Saturday evening reservation... Was seating relatively quickly. Food is excellent. however, this Saturday the kitchen was off their game. Kitchen messed up on timing....Waiting almost an hour for appetizer, then we got appetizer, salad and entree in a spread of 3 minutes. Might as well have brought it all at once. Our Waitress was excellent despite the kitchen craziness. Food is always delicious.... I just will be very leery of returning on a busy Friday / Saturday night....

This restaurant is a solid choice for a good variety of well prepared Italian food. I have never had an issue here. Try the goat cheese brucshetta or the grilled calamari as an appetizer. The house wines are a good choice unless your palate requires something more than standard. Usually you can find a $25 bottle special. The food is moderately priced and the portions are generous. I've always been impressed by the quality of the servers. Either they have a really good training program or they hire good people with experience.

The food took forever to arrive. When my chicken parmesan arrived, it was dry and overcooked. I took three bites and couldn't eat anymore. I put my napkin on top of the plate and waited (again) to get the waitress's attention. When I told her about the meal, she didn't apologize just said "I'll let them know". Then the bill arrives with the disgusting chicken right there, full price. I ask the waitress to send the manager over. She asks why, I told her. Then she starts arguing with me. Then she asks my wife if she wants to order dessert. Um, no. The owner cleared things up. This was our first, and last, time there.

After making a reservation an hour before on OpenTable we were seated right away. The restaurant is very nice inside- I loved the decoration. There was live music but we were in the other room and it wasn't disruptive. Our server (John I think) was very friendly and knew a lot about the restaurant and the food. We received bread right away. The wait for our meal wasn't too bad at all and it was worth the wait! I ordered the Rotolo, which I highly recommend. There was also a magician that stopped at our table a couple times and I found it thoroughly entertaining and not intrusive (we just didn't know if we should have tipped him...). Overall we had a great time and left very full!

Simply stated ,overall excellent experience. Great food, very good serving side.solid service. The only complaint is that the first table we were sat at was adjacent to the entrance to the serving area and kitchen. Much traffic and noise . As a result we asked to be reseated which wasn't a problem because the restaurant was 1/3 full at 6 pm and yes i did have a reservation.

Have visited Alianos many times and it continues to be a favorite with us for great Italian food. Love the eggplant parmesan and veal franchese and so many others. We keep trying all the wonderful dishes and we're never disappointed. Because everything is freshly prepared you need to allow time for preparation so we consider it a timeout from the stresses of life and just relax while we wait = it's worth it!

This was our worst experience ever at Aliano's restaurant. They were out of high chairs. The hostess wanted us to wait until a family finished before seating us. The blue cheese dressing had no blue cheese in it. We requested a replacement salad, which the bus boy provided and it was the same. The service was very slow. It took over an hour from the time we ordered until our food arrived at the table. This is pasta. It doesn't take that long to cook it. No refills were offered for coffee. It was an extremely disappointing experience. My husband spoke to the owner. He didn't care that our experience was so dreadful.

When we arrived for our reservation, the hostess ignored us for 10 min talking to other employees. We were the only people waiting, so they weren't very busy. I had requested outdoor seating, however she plopped our menus on this dinky little table under the air vent and walked away without saying a word. Needless to say, I was not expecting great things from this point. It was so cold I actually had to switch with the other person in my party to avoid the draft. The server, who I believe was Chris, was amazing. He made up for the bad hostess and only ok Italian food. The dishes are common, and don't all have that burst of flavor I expect with Italian food. I do like that toucan change your pasta sauce choice. Overall, an ok place

We were a party of 4, when we arrived the restaurant was closed. No one had contacted us. When speaking with the owner, she was less than helpful. Offering an i'm sorry and a shrug. There are a great deal of restaurants in the tri city location to choose from. We will never, go there again. Being residents in st. Charles and batavia for over 45 years we have rarely, possibly never had such a rude response from a mistake.

We went to Aliano's after seeing a play at the Albright Theater in Batavia. Our friends like Italian food, and it was close. Unfortunately, I forgot it was Mother's Day. The restaurant warned us that if we ordered off the menu instead of taking their $24 buffet, we might have to wait a long time for our food. They were right. It took half an hour to get salads and over an hour to get our entrees. This restaurant should not offer a menu at all if their buffet takes up so much of their time. In addition, the waiter, who thought he was being clever, made an uncalled-for rude comment about wine consumption. This is our third time eating at Aliano's and we won't try it again. There are other Italian restaurants in Batavia.

The food was good, but wasn't replenished enough for a brunch. People were waiting around for more food to be brought out. Many dishes that were put out were dirty. The offering of desserts was minimal. Took too long to get drinks. Not a nice display for Mother's Day Brunch. Not worth the money. Too bad, because the food was good.

The good: food has been good all three times we've gone. The bad: from the moment you arrive at the hostess stand, the experience becomes awkward. We actually made reservations this time, hoping that would eliminate the confusion and wait to seat us. But no, my husband and I (group of 2), arrived on time right before of a group of 3 with no reservation. They were seated immediately at a 4 top. We were told our table would be ready in a few minutes. 15min later we were seated at a 4 top!! Explain to me why the same size table was given to a party with no reservations immediately, but us with a reservation had to wait?!? Also, always a long wait for food, long wait for check, staff seems to have no clue of the wait, never a sorry.

We waited for 2 hours for our food. Eggplant Parmesan was burnt, bread on table was stale as was oil. Waiter was MIA for 30 min. After 20 min I had to go to the bar to get my drink! Complained to the hostess AND bartender AND waiter, no apology--just excuses. Manager nor owner (who WAS there) never came over. This used to be our favorite but, unfortunately, this is our third time with bad service and food. Although, this was by far the worst. Only gave the one stars because this would not submit without stars.
