Nice place to go eat. The food was pretty good. I was just disappointment, that they had run out of the lamb and all the desserts by Saturday night.

We really did enjoy the food, but they market the menu as "healthy Mediterranean". Not really. It was good Lebanese food, but way too bright, the server was vague about ingredients, and no one acted as if we were very welcome. Considering there were no more than two tables active at a time, I would have expected a better welcome. We made reservations and I made a note that it was our 22 anniversary. No mention was made of that. I asked for a "romantic table", we were seated near the door, and there were at least 15-20 other available tables! Would go back, but only because I love Mediterranean food and was hungry, not because this was anything special.

Many international cuisine restaurants adapt their recipes to please the American eaters. Definitely not the case on Alhambra restaurant... Food was good with a home style cooking, for instance with the decor and flavor it took me to the Mediterranean, if it wasn't for the music, started with some pop tunes. Cons: I believe it is a bit overpriced, ordered two entrees, one appetizer 2 kids meal 4 sodas and 2 desserts - my check was $105 - not typical for a neighborhood restaurant at lunchtime. Server and manager were very kind, food didn't take long (there was no other guests at the time) Because of its price, it wouldn't be in my top 5 choice for a lunch or dinner, would come back if craving for some Mediterranean food

This was our second trip to Alhambra we found out about this restaurant from a chocolate festival we attended. Authentic great food and they even have belly dancers on Fridays and Saturdays must go back must return must take friends enjoy.

The best raw kipbe (spelling?) I have had yet. Excellent fusion of Mediterranean and Spanish food.

All you could taste was garlic, the fish was soaking in garlic and oil, the cuscus had no other taste but garlic. Tha place has no real identity. They want to be Lebanese but half of the menu is Spanish but the decor is contemporary with som shishas on the tables?

Amazing experience. You definitely forget that you are in Kendall when you step foot in this neighborhood gem. The owners are very attentive and the belly dancing was a nice added touch. Try the lamb chops and the Greek fries! I will certainly be going back.

  • Food is great, flavorful,

Food is great, flavorful, well presented, loved the on-the-house appetizer of kalamata olives and fried pita bread. Place is beautifully decorated. Service is slow and kind of I-don't-care. I missed the regular "Everything OK?" waiter question and suffered because of the tiny glasses of water and poor attention to the customer. Had to beg for every need, even though the restaurant was almost empty.

Belly dancer was very artful. She truly enjoyed what she did, and it showed. Food was unique, but slightly bland - the crab cakes were well seasoned, and very nicely presented.

Very fun atmosphere. Good food. Nice wine list. A little noisy. It that would be because of the belly dancing. Awesome! And don't covet about the Hookahs! Recommended.
