Diner Reviews
  • "Fried calamari app was great as was the grilled octopus. The Filet mignon served with the fettuccini was excellent. Tender and perfectly seasoned. Though it would be better served over a salad or simply grilled veggies. I didn't care for the fettuccini alfredo ( and I love cheese) just wasn't a good accompaniment"

  • "Front staff seemed new and fairly confused, though pleasant. The space is quite elegantly decorated with well spaced (for New York) tables. Though the whole bar area opens up to the street, this being midtown there is considerable traffic noise. Food is very pricey and mediocre at best, though the wine list is decent and fairly priced. Place is okay for a break from work or pre-theater, but not worth a special trip for a fine dining experience."

  • "This was our first time at the new location, we were a bit disappointed that they changed the old menu, but the food is still very good, although the atmosphere was not as cosey as the old location, but the service definitely has improved!"

  • "Excepetional food and service! The pre-fix, LivingSocial menu included reasonable portions and variety whereas other restaurants skimp when they offer a LS menu. I will definitely return to enjoy the full menu."

  • "I'll be honest. We ALWAYS get the Fettucine Alfredo. It's always great. The salad, the bread, the desserts, the beer, the service are all great. We don't order the various Italian entree dishes, so I just con't comment on them. The new location is much more classic and classy than the old Rockefeller (and even the older CitiCorp) locations. We are very happy to see Alfredo's open again!"

  • "...dinner for four was ~ $500 before tip; for that kind of money I'd expect the food to be memorable, however it was forgettable at best and regrettable at worst. We'll not return..."

  • "Grest food and service. a bit expensive but serving size was reasonable."

  • "The food was ok but was not hot and my pasta sauce was dry. Seemed as if the food sat back in the kitchen for 20 minutes before they brought it out. We also waited for a very long time to get our food."

  • "Came here pre-theater thinking it was the old location by Rock Center. Menu has been updated, food was fantastic and all happy. Came back for business lunch, not as good. Chicken which was exceptional at dinner was bone dry at lunch. I like the fact that there is open seating in front, interior seating in rear but I can see how some may not."

  • "Simply put, the restaurant was good. This is not the best Italian restaurant, but the pastas are solid and the location is pretty good. Only strange experience was with the manager- he had his back to our table most of the night talking with the customers at the table directly next to us. They must have been friends, but the manager should know better then to have his back turned to patrons who are literally within 2 feet of him. It was also strange that at no point during the night he did not turn around and ask how everything was. Bizarre."

  • "Excellent staff and food. The service attentive but not bothersome. You will never want for anything while at Alfreddo. The food is world class. Authentic recipes and the freshest and highest quality ingredients make for a classic and exquisite Italian eating experience. I highly recommend Alfreddo 100 as the best Italian Restaurant in Midtown."

  • "Between the loading dock across the street and the music blaring inside, my ears were ringing. Despite that, food was was done. "

  • "I had an early dinner at Alfredo and everything was just perfect: food, service, drinks, crowd. It was a beautiful day so I could enjoy my meal seating outside. I had a crab cake to start that was delicious, then I had a whole branzino that the waiter prepared to serve in front of me. The wine suggested by the waiter was just perfect with both my choices. I was a Bice costumer for years but I'm glad this location is open again with a beautiful new look. Good luck "

  • "Welcome back Alfredo's! Midtown missed you. Who else could fill the shoes of our beloved Bice. Had my birthday lunch here and it was fantastic. From appetizers (the pork belly pizza, the fettucine balls, the shrimp & white beans, the spinach and ricotta ravioli) I was in love all over again before my veal chop even arrived. Don't leave without at least tasting an appetizer portion of the classic alfredo. It couldn't be better. "
