A word from Alden Park Bar and Grill
Alden Park is a casual upscale restaurant featuring creative American cuisine. Stemming from Chef Brent"s expansive palate, our seasonal menu features an array of classic dishes with a current, fresh twist.

The modern and inviting interior, designed by the acclaimed Steve Todisco, blends a mix of straight lines with flowing curves. Your eyes will be drawn up to the vaulted ceilings by the large archways, highlighted by metallic blue, sea green, and warm brown tones. In the middle of it all stands the eye catching bar area, with its white bar top contrasting a dark wood facade, and topped off with a cool blue halo. Outside on the private patio, the expansive space focused around a water/fire pit is great for functions or a quiet dinner with drinks in our oasis.

Whether out for intimate dinner for 2, late night drinks, or seeking the perfect spot for a function, Alden Park offers the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.

This was our first time there....definitely will not be our last ... Everything was perfect! The recommendations from our waitress, Brittany, her knowledge about all aspects of food and drinks was SO helpful. She was spot on for everything we ordered!!! Can't wait to go back for our next night out.

We have been to Alden Park many times, always rating the food excellent. The grilled cheese and the Ruben sandwiches were excellent; however, we were very disappointed in the clam roll - not up to your standards.

Although my dinner, the roasted cod was very tasty, I was disappointed to find several bones in my piece of fish. Others at the table were also unsatisfied. My husband ordered the black & bleu rib eye filet medium but when he cut into it, the center was raw. Also, my daughter's steak frites was too heavy on the frites and the steak was fatty. It was hard to get our waitress's attention. After this experience, we agreed that we would not go back.

We were very disappointed in our most recent experience at Alden Park, especially since we brought friends with us. Our waiter, Nick, was the reason for this. He approached us with a gregarious nature and appeared to be well experienced and professional. However, he then went "over the top" with his constant chatter and opinions. He commented on things that we were talking about and injected his own experiences repeatedly. He made an ignorant comment to one of our guests who asked for only water. Nick said, "Oh so you are rearlly not going to have more than water? OK, but I bet it gets crazy when you do drink." Given Nick's apparent years of experience as a waiter, he should know to use much greater discretion. His service was slow.

Lovely evening on the patio with the fire fountain, choice of dining at regular tables or lounging around coffee table style seating with outdoor sofas and chairs. Service was prompt, the tap selection was adequate. We rounded out a couple dozen oysters with a few appetizers and called it a satisfying evening.

Had reservations at 7 on a Friday in early June 2014. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was busy and there were only a few open tables. Our party of 3 had a great time and we all enjoyed our meals. We shared the calamari appetizer and it could have fed 2 more people, it was a lot of calamari. I had the beet salad as my main course, it was very good. My 2 friends both had the lobster mac & cheese and were both happy with their choice. For dessert we shared the fried mint chocolate chip ball, it was okay but I probably wouldn't order it again. Our waiter was very good, happy to leave us alone so we could talk. He could tell we weren't in a rush and had a lot of catching up to do.

This was our second time here. We waited for a long time to have the waitress appear. We put in our drinks and she was supposed to check on the wine which she didn't. They were out of it. Meanwhile my martini was getting warm. When she came back with the wine we put in our food order right away. The noise level was really terrible. The food was okay but nothing special. They had changed their menu and they didn't have what I was going to have again. We won't be back for quite a long time.

Service was slow. Food was luke-warm and my husband's chicken was rare on the inside! They didn't even offer to take the meal off the bill! They gave us plastic spoons for our dessert - they said they ran out of silverware! This was a busy Friday evening - fairly early - you would think they would be prepared! Not to mention the rookie mistake and potentially dangerous one of serving raw chicken. Our drinks sat empty for too long before we were asked if we wanted anything else. Very disappointing experience. We won't be back. It was about our 3rd/4th time there and not sure why we expected it to be better this time.

I was not told when I made the reservation that it would be a buffet. The menu is wonderful but the brunch buffet was very disappointing. The service was poor. No silverware until asked twice and not clearing of the table at all by the server. The manager came over to clear the table. Not enough staff on that day. The Jasmine rice was not cooked. The line for the buffet was long. Food spilled on the floor and not cleaned up.

So, this was going to be a nice treat- to not have to cook for my family. Instead we got awful buffet pancakes, with no one to replenish the syrup. An hour long wait in a buffet line- with kids- and a super long wait for the waitress to bring drinks. Super poor planning. Results in a Mother's Day stressful dining experience, grandmothers in tow.

Drinks were great. Service could have been better, our wawaitress seemed more preoccupied with other guests since she rarely checked in on our table and there was an obvious function under the tent that evening. Waitress served our food very late which was noticeable by temperature of our food, not cold but not hot. I don't mind her being occupied with a large group function but I do mind het neglecting to bring our food to us hot. Not sure if I'll come back again, maybe on a night with no function...?

I went here to celebrate a birthday with a group of 7 & were seated just beyond the bar. Although the service was a little slow at first, I contributed that to it being the peak dinner time. Our waitress though was fantastic & was attentive to very member in our party. They have a great drink menu with lots of options. The food was delicious & even got compliments from a chef that was part of our group. We had everything from the lettuce wraps & siracha wings for appetizers to the chicken milanase, vegetable stir fry & the park salad for dinner. Everything was absolutely yummy. We ended the night with the dessert sampler which I would highliy recommend. I will definitely be back.

I have been to their sister restaurant many times in Milton. We go there for the Jazz on Sunday nights. I meant to ask if this restaurant has entertainment. It’s a treat to eat with live music in the background. I had Steak over salad for lunch. Asked for medium rare and got medium rare. Not many restaurants get that simple request right. We enjoyed service, food and the contemporary decor. We even like the bathrooms..LOL!

The food was fabulous and service at the back of the house was great. We arrived on time for our reservation and waited over 45 minutes to be sat. We were told by the hostess and manager a couple with a reservation an hour earlier than us had not yet been seated. This was the only upset. Great restaurant if you have no other plans for the night and don't mind a long wait for a seat (with a reservation).

After hearing rave reviews about this restaurant I figured I would invite a couple of friends there for our monthly get-together. As an energetic group of 4 we were mostly ignored by our waitress the entire 3 1/2 hours we were there, but the most upsetting aspect was the price of the food for the amount of food we received. My husband ordered a chicken dish that cost $22. Chicken is the most inexpensive protein to serve and the amount he received on his plate was absolutely absurd. My friends steak plate cost $30 and her portion was even less. I realize at upscale trendy restaurants you tend to pay a little more, but there was no justification for the price and portions served - the ambiance was not worth that much.

Seeing availability all night on Open Table, we figured there'd be no problem getting in. When we arrived there shortly thereafter, the wait was an hour. Confused, we checked OT from our phone and was surprised to still see tables avail for all time slots, so we made a reservation for 15 minutes away and were seated right away. It was disappointing to see subsequent people opt to eat elsewhere when tables were readily available had they known about OT. Service was horribly slow; 30 min just to get drinks. The entire meal took 3 hrs, half of it waiting. As a result, our subsequent Saturday evening plans had to be cancelled because it was so late. Food mediocre; the cream sauce on mine was just a sticky coating.

First time we tried this restaurant and overall our experience was a good one. Menu is not large but has a good selection of items to choose from. Except for the Crab Cake appetizer all of our meals were very good and great portion size. The Crab Cake appetizer consisted of two Luke warm cakes, one was thick & about 3” in diameter while the other was thin & about the size of a half dollar. Service was missing at times. Wine glasses remained empty for too long, food came quick but everything else took long. Wait person did seem new, sometimes un-sure of what was offered.
